Good, clear explanation of a very complex system. The live, hands-on demonstrations really help with understanding what is going on with the various settings.
Hi Gary, i came across your book on Wednesday and brought a copy. What a god send coming from Nikon to Sony is a huge step change but im loving thr A77II. Have the 16-50mm which was not great, so following focus check and a -3 adjustment, wow what a camera. Anyway this video was spot on as the focusing system is quite overwhelming, thanks for sharing and thanks afor a great book
I've been eagerly awaiting your book - and it's downloading now. Thanks for taking the enormous amount of time you obviously spend on this, I'm sure your hourly rate works out to be tiny, but it's greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
Loved the education via youtube, you did a great job. Too bad that I have moved to Panasonic, but I have subscribed, maybe one day I will move back to Sony. Thanks!
Your training & ebooks are much better than many shooters taking classes from kelby1. Here is my question which I see that you hooked up with a usb cable. That's only good to monitor or tv. How do you get wireless or tethered live-view on a Windows PC? Canon, Hasselblad, Leica, Nikon and now Olympus E-M1 can do tethered live-view to pc.

Thank you for getting back to me because many asked from other forums get banned or called "troll".
Hi Gary, I know this an old video so I hope you get this. Could you make a video on how to clean the sensors on the A77M2 and A99M2 cameras? The Sony website only goes as far as to use the cleaning mode found in the help guide and I haven't found but one RUclips video showing cleaning the sensor and he used some sticky sponge on the end of stick. I know there are swabs out for cleaning sensors but the only instructions I'm finding are for Nikon and Canon. Hope you're staying safe and well.
Hi Gary, thanks for getting back to me and pointing me to the video. Even though the video is for mirrorless cameras it still helped to know I should leave the self-clean mode engaged to lock the sensor. However, I am looking for instructions for translucent mirror cameras like the A99M2 and A77M2. As you know they have mirrors that have to be flipped up and when flipped up the mirror tilt blocks the sensor and the mirror actually protrudes a little out of the camera when flipped up. I had a bought a Carson sensor loupe but it doesn't work well on these model cameras because when mirror is up it's in the way loupe doesn't fit the lens mount opening. Any suggestions?
