I have this exact model, year and build color. Everything he said I can verify. I just got it a month ago. I never smiled that much driving a car before. I chose to avoid all the premium garbage. I just put all my money on engine. I'm not a professional driver so I see no value in Perf Package 2, but Perf Package 1 is perfect for me. It's a mean and aggressive car and not too pricy Bonus: It's made in USA, 20 miles from me in Flatrock, Michigan
get a gt500 bumper and some wheels if u haven’t already and the bumper is 1k and some nice wheels u could get 4 for 2k with tires and it will be a looker
I got the Iconic silver GT w/pp1 and 10a. The active exhaust rounds out all the options on mine. I traded a loaded 15 GT Convertible. And I really do not miss the heated/cooled seats and all the other stuff. If I were to change anything, I would add the sub'd sound system. Love the stance and the exhaust sound more than I miss the options though. The latest Mustangs have a much improved engine/transmission/exhaust and interior quality is better. I cannot comment on fuel mileage as I cant reach that button under acceleration....and I don't give an oink. The hardest decision is choosing between the sound of Zeppelin or "Concerto Coyote 5.0 " These baby's really move!

I was still on the fence as I haven’t even sat in one yet as they are getting it from another dealer . I am from New Zealand, so mine is right side drive - but WOW! Just turning it on gave me chills. Damn it sounds amazing. Mine is Velocity Blue with gloss black stripes..... she’s called Eleanor. She will be my daily driver. Like you, whenever you put your foot down you cannot help but smile - it truly does give you joy!! Awesome vid, taught me some little things I am yet to find out (the manual I’m reading is huge!!)! I have the digital front board that changes the design when you change modes, and you can colour it however you like! I am impressed with the storage. I give it a month maybe 2 for new car prices to go way down right now the auto manufacturers have a huge surplus of vehicles sitting in storage because no one has been buying vehicles since this pandemi

I am a mustang guy, I have one myself. But I would go with the corvette. The 2020 Gt500 has the most HP than any other stock mustangs, but it also has 1300 lbs more weight than any other mustang. You can get the s550 Gt and install the bolt ons to improve hp and stability. All that for less than 15k and then compre it with the 80k GT500. Ford has entered in Corvette territory pricing wise, and I think its dangerous. Mustangs should be affordable. 40K for the new gt500 would have been great, but ever since 2014 prices kept going up and now we ended 40K 2020 GTs and 40k more for your 2020 gt500. Fords prices will keep going up until no one can afford a simple new mustang gt. Henry Ford II accepted the mustang because it was affordable and cool, and Ford is getting farther and farther from the initial concept. When the 2014 mustang gt came out, it was worth 26k. how much is worth now? 20k why? because Ford no longer sets the prices at 26k for the newer cars like they used to. And the corvette looks a million times better than the mustang!
Just so you know in the middle top of the back of either driver or passenger seat there is a lever that with break the seat down and let you get in the back without moving the position on the seat back
That’s not how you pull the seats forward to get into the back. You will see, on both front seats, on the back, there is a pull lever - you pull this and the whole seat slides forward and drops down. It has automatic memory so when you pull it back up, it goes back into the correct position. You’re welcome.
Technically it has it on the top of the windshield. Since the mustang is such an iconic marque, I think they want that to be the focus over the Ford branding. Just my opinion.

I don’t know. A lot of cheap plastics inside and big heavy car that you can’t really get full use of all that horsepower on a normal day to day basis. Sounds amazing though and I’m sure it would be a blast on a track Needs updating though it’s starting to look a bit long in the tooth.
The Euro 2018 GT I have has a soft touch plastic central piece around cup holders. Also the door trim is softer and not scratchy. What spec do you have to get in the US for those?
I own a 2019 mustang gt performance package 1. In my opinion, it’s the best bang for your dollar. The Camaro ss 1LE Performace better on the track but in my opinion, it’s butt ugly so I couldn’t get one. 2019 mustang Gt automatic with PP1 Total MSRP: 41,940 Purchase price not including taxes and license: $35,758 Total off MSRP: $6,182 It’s easy to get a shit load off of your cars. Be aggressive and demand the price you want. I bought a brand new 2018 Dodge Charger rt scat pack with dynamics package for 8k off MSRP. I bought a 2014 evo x gsr brand new for 5k off MSRP. And so on and so on. Only car I paid MSRP for is my 2019 raptor supercrew and that was good at that time becuase in SoCal, all dealers were asking markup. I actually custom ordered my raptor...

The Mustang those guys were driving has Brembo brakes, heavy duty front springs, larger radiator, wider tires, & I think it had Magne-Ride shocks. It might even have an upgraded sway-bar.

If you do get one though, just be careful....
The real bad news is that at Ford quality is job none! My 2021 Mustang GT premium was a big lemon. I could live with the cheap plastic interior and glitchy electronics but the clucky garbage 6 speed manual transmission was just garbage! I'm not the only one who thinks so, look at the class action that has been launched against Ford. Fortunately I was able to sell it and buy a real car from another manufacturer. It's no wonder Ford stopped building cars...I'll never buy another Ford...EVER!
I don't like manual that at all, these days. Can't eat, drink your coffee, smoke a doobie, or anything else. They just become a big headache, after time. I'll take an automatic any day.

I have a 18 PP1 GT with the 10 speed. It's a genuinely fast car. The sound of the Coyote never gets old.
I know it's supposed to be an affordable muscle car but the gt premium is my dream car which I hope to own some day

The mustang Eco-Boost used goes for about $17-21k. If you only want GT, then yes that's enough, but you'll get an older model with some miles on it.

The real bad news is that at Ford quality is job none! My 2021 Mustang GT premium was a big lemon. I could live with the cheap plastic interior and glitchy electronics but the clucky garbage 6 speed manual transmission was just garbage! I'm not the only one who thinks so, look at the class action that has been launched against Ford. Fortunately I was able to sell it and buy a real car from another manufacturer. It's no wonder Ford stopped building cars...I'll never buy another Ford...EVER!

I don't like manual that at all, these days. Can't eat, drink your coffee, smoke a doobie, or anything else. They just become a big headache, after time. I'll take an automatic any day.
