The biggest issue with Range Rover is the consistency of the quality of its parts - on the outside and inside looks amazing - the keys always fall apart , parking cameras often fall out , under the skin it’s so easily stolen it’s beyond a joke . I just hope they sort out the cars security with the new one .

My First Edition was delivered this week. My first Range Rover, traded in my superb Audi 2021 SQ7. Initial impressions: Audi- sportier, larger cargo, top quality and some other points better. Ranger Rover- a boat load of additional features, less piano black smudges, just a beautiful automobile, just thrilled to have my custom ordered Sport, no other V-8 anywhere to be found, wow the materials are Audi quality but + plus in many areas, the image factor is beyond belief in such a unique looking SUV, the Red is breathtaking with the ivory interior, BUT A real bummer, due to chip shortages no Fridge and no Acoustic Headrests! Was compensated for the shaft! Must say Ride, Performance, Quietness, Seats, Sheer Simplicity, and Smell are all Outstanding, just love this car!

These Range Rovers look so good on the road, but their long-term reliability really prooves they do not justify the price tag. There simply are too many cheaper alternatives, which do not hold the fancy status a RR brings. On the other hand, individuals who buy such car usually do not care for the cost of maintenance and frequently replace a few year old RR with a new one and avoid big material problems.
Love the review actually made me laugh sometimes with its simplicity but perfect for auto trader she really sells the car to you clear points for people actually looking to buy

You didn't review the driving of the car, you only mentioned in dynamic mode ifs fun, and the steering feel is k for an suv (are you kidding me, thats like saying idk how this wheel feels, its like any other suv, its called understeer, oversteer, low engagement, dynamic or sport mode still doesnt make the wheel engaging and responsive or it does). The off road you didn't go over the tech specs of off roading, at least mention its ground clearance, if it has skid plate options, etc The driving u didn't go over 0-60, or actually explain it. Your review makes people want to go test drive the car because ur not talking about that. The comfort u didn't go over sound dampening in the interior This was an ad not a review I am so utterly sick of this presenter, Idk why she's on this channel. The reality is that it will break down, not the engine though, cos it's BMW but everything else will. It will be too expensive for what it is. Just get the BMW X5M or the Porsche Cayenne because they'll at least be a tad more reliable. JLR need to work on reliability because they are by far the worst in the industry. Alfa have done something about it, lets see if JLR follows them.
I test drove this, really nice to drive with the V8, but then l drove the M3 Touring and decided there and then it was the best car I've driven, they really are a great car l love it.
Insurance companies are turning against the sport at an alarming rate, some won’t insure them at all , and if your in the London area you definitely need to get a quote before you buy.

I see loads of the new Rangerover sports around Warwick- near Gaydon and I just don't like the styling- I like the full size Rangerover, but not the New Sport. Actually prefer the old Sport styling!
One of the few problems with this car is that the previous gen range rover looks a lot better than the current gen. Also, the current gen engines are made by BMW so I'm unable to actually trust them in terms of reliability compared to my family's previous gen Range Rover Supercharged v8.
Well, taste is personal. I'm actually a fan of the new design - to me, this is about one of the best interiors on the market, and one that doesn't bury essential functionality in a submenu somewhere. Everything you need during driving is directly accessible. As for the quality, I agree that nobody as yet knows if they have managed to improve on that. Worse, it will take a while to find out given that the current minimum delivery time of a new Range Rover is over a year due to chip shortages. I'm personally more interested in the hybrid because I think the v8 may be well on the thirsty side, and for local travel the PHEV battery range works for me.
@@freddoflintstono9321 the interior is great, while I prefer the two screen approach of the last gen the ui of the current gen and the upgrade in materials is a big plus. Although, for my family the v8 is a necessity as it's one of the reasons we got our range rover in the first place because we like power lol. The wait times are insane though because the dealerships near me have a 1.5-2 year waiting list due to demand being crazy high. I just can't get over the fact that the new sport just looks like a velar to me from the outside and also the bmw engines as well.
If only the boffins at Land Rover were as obsessed with reliable as they are with luxury and gadgets! As a technician, there have been far too many coming back in, some dying on the PDI (pre delivery inspection)...quite embarrassing for a car that costs as much as it does

Shame they are getting stolen so often. I've heard Lloyds of London will no longer underwrite the insurance of Range Rovers. A friend has recently sold his months-old RR because the insurance premium was going to be £7K. He also has a new Porche and a Bentley, they each only cost him £1K to insure. He also has a new Defender, the wheels on that had been stolen twice, also costing him a fortune! I've had the windows on mine smashed 4 times by thieves trying to steal it. Once in all, they would have needed to do was plug a certain device into the ECU and drive off! JLR need to do something about the security on their cars, or they are going to face serious trouble. Once their cars are all but impossible to insure and the residuals take an even greater plunge, then the buyers for new ones will dry up. It will take a while yet but it will happen. Lloyds did warn them, JLR didn't listen.
Why not mentioning that this V8 engine is provided by BMW ?

No, they've BMWs previous gen V8 the S63, if you want a mild-hybrid V8 the S68 will start appearing in BMWs soon.
Actually the N63 to be precise, the S68 is already used in the LCI X5/X6/X7 M50i and LCI X5M/X6M

Minimalist design, kept simple as much as they can and no unnecessary features, smart design and simple but elegant and muscular with a smooth ride.
