Yum. These all look so good. I live near Austin, MN which is SPAMtown USA. There's a SPAM museum and a SPAM festival every year. Aloha from Maui 😊 Coming from a family of 6, we always had the 25% less sodium Spam in our pantry. Our spam was always cooked with garlic powder, seemed to cut back on the saltiness. Spam and green beans (spam, string beans, tomato, garlic powder, and pepper) Spam casserole (spam, cream of mushroom soup, shape pasta and lots of black pepper). One of my favorite bars also makes their omelet just like your spam tamagoyaki. You should also try the Bacon Spam too - perfect addition in a grilled cheese sandwich.
I really like the 25% less salt spam...its really good...due to your Spam recipes I tried Spam and was overwhelmed with the salt...but once I discovered the 25% less salt...I'm sold
The other day I stopped a sandwich shop and their "side" for the day was Cabbage, Spam, and Corn. Yum. The lady said her mom made it all time when she was growing up.
My mom was Japanese. She was a phenomenal cook. One thing she used to cook for us whenever my oldest brother would come to visit, was cut up spam cooked in soy sauce with cabbage over rice. It is delicious!
Terry Drown - A gal after my own heart! I looove frying up some Spam and having it with rice. Sometimes I’ll even lightly fry an egg over easy and mix it together. Personally I think the less sodium Spam tastes better so it’s the better choice in my apartment. All hail Spam!
Kind of late to the video... I was born and raised in Hong Kong but moved to Hawaii so this video was endearing! From what I remembered, the Nissin 出前一丁 instant noodle has always been around and whenever instant noodle is mentioned, it's often implied that it's Demae Iccho. Sesame flavor is the original flavor for Demae Iccho but I remember there were other flavors that are pretty good too. I'm not sure if I answered your question but I enjoyed this video a lot.
Yum, I love spam. Very true spam is very versatile. I have made spam tacos; potatoes, eggs, and spam;added spam to my salad; BLT- I used spam instead of bacon, so it was slt. Thank you for the videos, great job, and much love.
Growing up, my mother would cook this often, she would fry slices and then add can chopped tomatoes, (rotel would be good) adding onions and let it simmer. Actually it was very good and she fed us 4 kids with this recipe and it went a long way.
The sandwich looks so good especially with soft fluffy japanese bread...normally I would buy the Low sodium version of spam and cook it with Indo Mee and a fried egg
The Tamagoyaki link never appeared. Also I just had spamwiches today. For a little something different I took some mayo and added a little go-chu-jang sauce at a 4-1 ratio. It was so good that I think that's going to become one of my default spreads for my sandwiches!
Cut the spam VERY thin. Like cheap bacon thin. Fry it in a pan or put it in the oven, but the oven makes it nowhere near as crispy. Tadaa! Bacon spam. I've been eating it this way for most of my life. I prefer it way more than normal thicker cuts.
I think this is the way. Spam is so exciting to eat, but it's easy to overdo it and it's like trying to eat a stick of butter or something. I like it when it's fried and still hot, so that it's sizzling when you eat it!
I'm watching this for maybe the third time, and hoping they didn't actually eat all this in one sitting! It makes me feel a little queasy just thinking about it!

Our favorite way to cook spam is ... Spam, rice and pineapple with green beans. I fry up the spam ,pineapple and green beans then I mix in the rice . Yum! Leftovers? I never happens.
Hello my two favorite RUclips foodies! My grandfather makes Spam a lot I’m not sure if he loves it because he was in the Navy & maybe they were given that to eat in WWII or it was a generation thing but one way he makes it is he uses leftover veggies from a roast beef dinner or roast chicken dinner which usually are: roasted carrots, potatoes, onions both cooked & raw, mashes them coarsely and mashed the Spam too. Mix together & flatter into a slightly greased frying pan when edges are crisp & golden flip & continue to crisp that side too. He added lots of fresh black pepper & all of us grandchildren add ketchup on top we love it, it’s basically a spam hash. Hope you try it he also drops eggs on top & covers with a lid so the egg is also like a poached egg on top. Yum!
I love to make spam and macaroni salad! I like to pan fry the cubed spam first to render it and get it brown around the edges for extra flavor. YUMMMMMM
my fav way to eat demae iccho is to crack a raw egg into the soup after it's done cooking and stir it which results in an eggy soup, it gives the soup a whole different taste as I find the original to be quite one dimensional. That ramen brings back so much memories and it was the first instant ramen I've ever eaten in my life.

A family favorite Spam recipe: One can of Spam cut up and placed into a food processor with one or a mix of your favorite cheeses (for us cheddar and jack or mozzarella) about a half cup. Grind the mixture a few pulses to get it going then add mayonnaise but not too much. Then grind again until a not so smooth paste. It should still have some tooth not be completely smooth. That is the basic, but you can do additions like mustard or ketchup or both, you can add a spoon or two of dill pickle relish or a small can of pimentos etc. Versatile stuff, eat off crackers or good quality white bread to make a great sandwich. Enjoy.
literally had this vid recommended to me as i'm sitting here eating my dinner... rice, spam, seasoning, egg, spinach lol. lazy college student dinner. i'll have to try one of these recipes next time!!

I like to make a kimchi fried rice with leftover Spam. Chop Spam into strips then cut strips into tiny cubes. Fry Spam in olive oil until tiny cubes are thoroughly brown and crispy. Remove from pan. Fry rice with sesame oil and olive oil. Add gochujang (red pepper flakes) and gochujang sauce to taste. Soy sauce, cooked diced onions, sliced kimchi, green onions, scrambled egg and a dash of fish sauce. Fry it up. Add cheese if you want. Top with sesame seeds and extra green onion. Salt and pepper to taste.

*HUGE* thumbs up from me!!
The spam macaroni looked so delicious!!
Awesome ! I just bought some spam today!! Great idea !🤩✌✌
