Would also LOVE to learn more about that wood clamp you used. Please !!! I just turned my first one of these this past weekend using a PVC connector which was sketchy but worked. This one looks a TON safer.
Glenn-Liza bonjour. Vidéo et conseils sont toujours appréciés .Vous nous guidez du début à la fin du tournage et cela nous plait beaucoup ,chez les débutants .Il y en a pout tout le monde, du grand tourneur au petit tourneur. Merci .👍
When I had asked about some of your chisels, and you said you didn't ship. I didn't ask, but I just knew it had been an issue on this side of the water. My first carbine arrived this morning. Just hoping they work as smoothly as yours do. lol, in my hands, not yours. I believe you could make a spindle with a sharp spoon. Take care guys.
hi glenn and liza hope you are well, do yo make your own chucks the wooden ones? many thanks love all the knowledge i am learning from you please never stop
Welcome to our channel Gloria from across the big pond. Hope you are enjoying watching our videos. Have you subscribed? Thank you in advance if you have. Toodle pip for now.
Thank you two for such great video's on how to make different things. I'd love to see a short vid on your tool organizers as I need to build something like that. I don't have near the amount you all do but I'm up to around a dozen different tools now and am just not sure how to get them all organized.

Glen and Lisa a very good evening. Two things if I may, first off I love the channel guys well done. Secondly, may I ask about your chuck for holding those scoops. Did you make it yourself and if so how, I can't seem to find a video of you making it so not sure if it was a one off before I got into turning and started to watch you guys. Help would be appreciated.
I say you turn as fast as you can, as safe as you feel is comfortable and you are able to, what the wood and your lathe allows. I usually turn at 2500 RPM as speed gets better, cleaner results, as demonstrated in the videos.
Glenn. The EU requirements are crazy. I have trying to send to Ireland. We now have to fill out and online declaration so it can be checked. Mine has been rejected twice before leaving Western Australia. 2 lots of postage with no result or understandable reason. $36 (£18) 😢 love the scoop. Thanks for the shout out. ❤❤❤
Seen you make these before or similar ones What chuck are you using as it seems a way from the head stock Will be ordering the new sch chisels as soon as the wife doesn't know lol
Thank you Roberto. Glad you find our videos helpful and entertaining. I screwed the plywood onto my small cole jaws. I made it so it would hold the scoop (round ball to enable me to hollow the one side. If you have a chuck that can hold it in the same way, then yes you can use that. I will always protect Liza. She is my world.
I’m liking the chuck jaws you made, I’ve got an extra pair of Cole jaws, but only one chuck, so I’m making access holes 😂 for the screws 😅
Thanks Brian. Glad you liked it. Good luck.
Great idea with the cutout in the jaws for the handle will definitely be using that. Great video as usual.
Thank you Wayne and thank you for the Buy Me A Coffee too. Glad you are enjoying the videos. Happy turning. Toodle pip for now. Glenn & Liza

What do you call that hollowing tool. I like the angle, almost like using a bowl gauge.

Hi Alan. Welcome to the channel. I made it myself. No video on making one but I did explain on one earlier on. Plywood screwed to a small cole jaws.
Just wondering if you could mention what speed you are turning. Being new to this I am just curious what the pros do.

Love the scoop, but could you show us how you made the wooden chuck jaws that hole the bowl part of the scoop? Many thanks
Already done one.
Hi first time here. Love the two of you chit chatting. The tool rack behind you is insane. Is tool envy a thing?
Wonderful 😍😍
Thank you
Teacher greetings from greece.your lathe is a record power one?I have learned much from your videos .....

My own wood chuck jaws I made, on my small cole jaws. It's got a thread adaptor on it as the chuck has a 1x8 TPI.
Nice video I love the wooden jaws for the chuck, I’m a bit concerned that you’re running low on gouges and cutters…..
Thanks Bill. I have never run out.
❤nice
Thank you Audrey
Glenn. You could emergrate to Australia and export your tools back to England. You could get used to the weather here, just saying😬👍
Nice try Chris. That's the thing, no problem in getting stuff in, it's the sending stuff out to other countries that's the problem.
That is insanely fast.
Armus, carbides work better with speed. It is more dangerous sometimes when going too slow.
профи
Your sound is a bit ratty. Suggest you minimize the audio and get on with the turning.
No thank you.
