This very helpful and nice video just went as a Patreon video-link to a young Adelaide artist, who just started her art-store and maybe will be used as a guide to perfect her shipments too. Two days ago I received my first 3 artworks from her, which went around the world, a lovely experience :-) Thank you !
Maybe so, yes 🤷♀️ I just like that they're white and look better. It probably also depends on how much you find them for, they aren't really that expensive around here!
Thank you so much for watching! I don't know if I can help with that because it's probably different for each country? When I take them to the post office here they stick a scannable sticker that's about 4x6 cms so it has never been a problem 🤔 I wish I could be of more help!
Hej! Love this video. I have twos question - what kind of printer do you use for you artprints? And where can I find the foambord you use? Yule greetings from stockholm. sweden!
Hello, thank you so much for watching and glad you found the video useful! I'm using an Epson Surecolor P600 and the foamboards I now get from within Greece but I know Amazon has them for sure. I think they are primarily used for dioramas and 3D architectural models (mockups?) , if that helps!
Hi Ma'am... Can you please tell me the name of the tube you use? I didn't get it clearly. How it is called at the market and are there any varieties of that tube?
Hello! Thank you so much for watching! You can find them under different names, try postal cardboard tubes or tubes for posting or mailing tubes or packaging tubes. It should pop up with these searches. And they do come in all kinds of length and thickness variations so you can choose whichever suits you best!
Thank you so much for watching!!! I use simple printer paper to be honest, on which I have printed my logo and social media info, but if you'd like something more fancy, you could pick a heavier paper and do the same! I haven't looked further into that so I can't be of more help I'm afraid :/
Thank you so much for watching! I live in Greece and the market here is very limited, I got these and most of my supplies from Amazon! If you search for hard back envelopes, you'll find them.
What kind of paper du you use? I'm going to start selling art prints, i want it to be on 290 g paper. Do you think i can roll it without ruining the print? :) Nice video!
Thank you so much for watching!!! It should be fine! You always have to be gentle but you shouldn't have any problems with it! I'm using Hahnemuhle and Canson, they are 308 and 310 gsm. That's the reason why I'm using 7 cm diameter tubes though, I had a hard time with the 5 cms. It was doable but felt extremely risky 😬
Hello! I had started with the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Smooth 308gsm, but I had difficulty restocking so I've now switched to the Canson Infinity Etching Rag 310 gsm! Thank you for watching!
Hi. What tube length do you use for a3? I can't find one in UK, either the diameter is large and the length is short, or the length is normal, the diameter is narrow Thank you for advise
Hello, thank you for watching! The ones I prefer are 7 cms diameter which allows for easier rolling of the print without damaging it. The length of the ones I found is 45 cms, which is more than I need, since I roll it on the short side, if that makes any sense 😅. It should be fine with 35 cms length, since the short side of the print is 30 and you need a couple of cms for the caps to seal. Then you'd have 3 cms as a safety gap for the print. I couldn't find so short though, so I went with 45 cms which is longer than needed but not huge. With them it would be possible to roll the print on the long side but in my brain that feels kinda weird, so I don't do it 😅. Also, I do have some with 5 cms diameter that are also 45 cms so I'm assuming I hadn't found shorter of those either, I can't remember for sure though, it's been a while. Anyways, I hope that helped!

Are foam boards not an unnecessary expense? A card would be equally good, considering it's a card on the other side.

how do you place a shipping label on a tube and also be scannable?
