Happy D is not only a great artist and youtuber, but she cares for her fans, customers and shops so much. The amount of care and love she puts into each packaging and painting is inspirational!
Thank you very much for this video. It was informative and to the point. I've seen so many artists on RUclips drone on and on about unrelated things, probably in an attempt to get the video length to the mythical optimal time to maximize their visibility through RUclipss algorithm. Your's was brilliant. I'm now a subscriber! Good luck and stay creative.
This was very informative, so thank you! 😊✨ I‘m currently informing myself about using less plastic and was wondering if you would consider using less/no plastic for packaging your orders? I understand you have to make sure the prints arrive safely, but maybe there are good alternatives. ☺️ If you are interested in this and find out something I would love to see a video about it. Sending love, your art is so beautiful. 💓
I know of an artist that instead of plastic sleaves she Buys a Large roll of tracing paper and then cuts it to the size of the order its a beautiful alternative because The Tracing paper acts like a veil where in the painting is slightly concealed and tracing paper goes really well with paper envelopes and twine I do hope they develop stronger paper envelopes or Biodegradable packaging materials. Since its a one time use material making it biodegradable is great but it does need to conceal moisture and protects the work like Plastic does I hope somebody finds something like that
Annabelle Liu Art Yes, I agree. Definitely use up old materials first, but would be great if she looked into alternatives once those are used. 😊 It’s great all of you come up with ideas 😊
I soo love hearing you talk about art and giving us rookies advice, and I like to play one of your videos in the background while drawing or painting. It somehow increases my confidence and boosts my desire of doing and achieving more. Love and support your art so much
Thank you for making this video! It was super helpful to give me some ideas about best practices for shipping prints! I am about to start selling prints on my own and this was a great starting point to help me know what I need to get started.
Great video!! Answered a lot of questions but I still have 1... To ship internationally, do you have to specify what kind of product you delivered and value? PLEASE HELP! :)
This was super informative!! I just have one question, for shipping the flat envelope internationally, I noticed that USPS has quite a distinct pricing difference between envelopes that can "bend" vs "rigid". And I was wondering when you put the chip board, are you still able to get the lower price? Because it seems a rigid large envelope costs approx. twice as much as a letter envelope. Any help would be super helpful as I've been trying to understand this for a while. :)
Thank you for this video! This is so helpful (although I got a long way before I begin selling my art) and I've always been curious of your process. Much love 💕
Do you ever use 9x12 clear bags for your 8.5x11 prints? I see you have the other size linked in your description but the place I am buying from only has 8x10 and 9x12. So I am wondering if you feel 9x12 works or if it's too big for your prints.
Thanks for this. I just searched for "100pt chipboard 8.5x11" but couldn't find it anywhere close to that size. Where do you recommend buying 100pt chipboard in this size? Thanks again!
I used Shopify a couple years ago and didn't have much luck. I haven't had any luck lately with Etsy so I am considering going back to Shopify. I was selling my hand made jewelry on Shopify, not my artwork.
Do you calculate the cost of each part per piece of the shipping cost into the item you’re selling? Like if it costs $6 in total to use one of each item do you add that to your shipping cost? Or make shipping free and add that to the cost of the actual item?
So after you get it all packaged and get the mailing label on, would you have to pay for USPS to ship it or can you just drop it in a blue collection box and not have to pay for it to get mailed? (For using chipboards)
I'm new to shipping my art, so I was wondering what to put for the return address because I'm not too comfortable using my home address and I don't work from an office or studio? that may be a silly question but I was wondering if there were any alternatives or if using my home address is something I just have to get comfortable with.
Mikey you could be just overthinking it. I am an artist too and I have passed out hundreds of business cards with my PERSONAL number on it and no one seemed to bother or stalk me. You could opt for a P.O. Box though
Lana's Daydream I don't think I am overthinking it. I live in a city with high crime rates so being vigilant is something that is important to me. The PO box is a good suggestion though, so thank you. I don't know why I forgot PO boxes existed.
Doing in-house shipping seems like a LOT of work. I’d imagine with total control, you can add lots of personal touches (like a surprise free sticker, perhaps 😉) and be intimately connected with what you’re shipping. You may have answered this before and maybe I just don’t remember, but have you ever considered porting your stuff over to someone else to print/ship for you? Being able to cut out that middle man would save you money on that specific front, but do you notice that you lose a ton of time and space to shipping? Plus, doesn’t laser ink cost a lot?
Could you please tell me the process of making actual prints? Do you have to have a special printer or do you take it somewhere to be printed out, or something entirely different? Also, do you maybe know how to make prints from paintings on canvases? As you can tell, i REALLY need help, looool
You can do both. But it’s expensive to get the initial set-up to make prints at home, so if you’re not really selling a lot just get them made somewhere. I personally use staples. I take the clearest picture I can of my canvas paintings using my phone camera. You crop everything out so it’s just the painting in the picture, go to document printing, upload it on staples website and just order. I use the 8pt glossy cardstock paper for my order and they turn out great!
OMG. I. Love You so much. You are the best human in The world.i Hope that You read this Comment. PS: i Hope i wrote correctly because i learn in Germany. English but britisch english. Anyways Love You xoxo ^_^

But it's not ecofriendly! Too much plastic😐
The footprints on your carpet was so funny at 0:06 :D

I just ordered eco sleeves from Clearbags.com for my prints and watercolor paintings. I'm also trying to not use as much plastic :)

This helps! Also, what is the best way to get multiple prints??
I still look at my ganja princess print daily and smile. I love her soooooooo much!!!
Thank you for making this video! It was super helpful to give me some ideas about best practices for shipping prints! I am about to start selling prints on my own and this was a great starting point to help me know what I need to get started.
I wish those shipping tubes weren't so expensive :0
Sebastian Art I’ve seen some dollar shipping tubes at the dollar tree!
Also they look like paper towel tubes so you can reuse and up cycle
I'm just starting to get into the print game and this was super helpful! Thank you so muchhh
how's it going?
The editing on this video was wonderful! Something I need to learn to do. Thank you for sharing how you ship your packages.
Oh my god haven’t seen u in awhile
So happy that u are back !💕💕💕
Yess😍! Thank you for sharing! Beautifully done. God bless you and may your art reach millions❤
Thanks for the tip on chip boards. I usually use thick foam poster boards
I just love how you get to the point ❤️
Thank you so much. I just starting to sale my art and this helped me alot
Great video!! Answered a lot of questions but I still have 1... To ship internationally, do you have to specify what kind of product you delivered and value? PLEASE HELP! :)
Your editing is improving so much! I just noticed! So pleasing to watch
what if you sell multiple prints to 1 person
?
Best video I've seen on this topic thus far! Thanks so much. Subscribed.
This was very fun to watch! It was very helpful. I know videos can be tiring to make so I hope your feeling okay! 💕💞
I'm learning so many organization and art tips from you. Just started watching your channel. Many thanks already. 😁
This is a really helpful tutorial. Could you tell me where you can get the chipboard from ?
This was super informative!!

Can you share why you left Etsy ? I've just started my Etsy shop but would welcome hearing the pro's and con's of which options to use.
Thank you so much for this I am a digital artist and needed to know how to send it
Thank you for this video! This is so helpful (although I got a long way before I begin selling my art) and I've always been curious of your process. Much love 💕
Yay! A new video!! 🖤🖤🖤
YOUR VIDEOS ARE SO HELPFUL THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Thanks for sharing your process for shipping!
I’ve been looking for a video about this for ages!
Which is better for art prints, thicker or thinner paper?
Hi Happy!! Thanks for this video!
Do you have an opinion on open prints vs limited prints?
what do you use to print your labels and which carrier do you use to ship? also, for the tubes, which package option do you choose? ty!!!
Do you have any problems with the paint sticking to the plastic envelopes? Or do you spray a varnish sealer over the prints?
Would you send a few printed arts all in one tube or you rather send them each in different tube?
I needed this video so much!!!
this was super helpful! thank you ✨how much does it cost to ship it with first class mail?
So helpful! Thank you! Where do you get your prints done?
Do you ever use 9x12 clear bags for your 8.5x11 prints? I see you have the other size linked in your description but the place I am buying from only has 8x10 and 9x12. So I am wondering if you feel 9x12 works or if it's too big for your prints.
Thanks for the video! What's the minimum requirement for chipboard strength? The 100 strength are a bit pricey.
i saw your shipping label overlapped at the end and covered some of the barcode, would that be okay for USPS to ship?
Hey!Thanks for this. What type of paper do you use for your prints?
Nothing wrong with Art and ASMR! 😉✨💖
Hi! With the prints you put into tubes, do you not have issues with the print curling?
Thanks for this. I just searched for "100pt chipboard 8.5x11" but couldn't find it anywhere close to that size. Where do you recommend buying 100pt chipboard in this size? Thanks again!
thanks for the video. very clear and helpful!
I used Shopify a couple years ago and didn't have much luck. I haven't had any luck lately with Etsy so I am considering going back to Shopify. I was selling my hand made jewelry on Shopify, not my artwork.
My brother and my sister have their store online and they did mostly shipping their stuff. ☺
What do you use to ship though? That's what I'm curious about. I see that you used a USPS sticker but how did you get that?
I use Etsy shipping labels or Pirateship.com
Do you put any tape over the end caps to make it more tamper proof?
what tube size do you recommend for 12x18 prints?
Curious. What paper do you use for prints I am nervous mine may bend in the mail. Or be too curly.
So helpful!! Thank you Happy D!
Do artists use their real home address when shipping art? Isn’t this a kind of a risk?
Do you calculate the cost of each part per piece of the shipping cost into the item you’re selling? Like if it costs $6 in total to use one of each item do you add that to your shipping cost? Or make shipping free and add that to the cost of the actual item?
Thanks for this video! Also, I love your voice. It's strangely relaxing ❤
Super helpful! Thank you!!
How do you ship matte prints? I have found that they are too thick to roll without creasing in the tubes :/
Very helpful for shipping prints...
So after you get it all packaged and get the mailing label on, would you have to pay for USPS to ship it or can you just drop it in a blue collection box and not have to pay for it to get mailed? (For using chipboards)
Where do you get your shipping tubes and caps?
This tutorial was so helpful! Thanks!!! ♥️♥️
I'd like to find an eco-friendly alternative to those plastic sleeves
Your art is amazing 💓💓💓
Thanks for all the info! this is exactly what I needed. I have a specific question about your art. What size do you print?
this is super helpful!! Thanks for the great tips! Love your art btw!❤❤
Where can i get these white cabs?
Thanks for this tutorial! It was really informative.
Thank you for this video, I ordered some envelopes with your link to support!

Mikey you could get a PO Box at your local Post office.

Does rolling it up make it curved when u unroll it??
Olivia Warren thats what I’m thinking! My customers may not want that...
Guys 😂....it’s gonna be straight again once it is in the frame!
Thank you for the knowledge share~!! Loving this so much 😍😍 May God bless you in return.
Can you show us how you turn your paintings into prints? I notice you use oil paints, so I'm curious as to how you do so.
Thanks for the tips!!
Really Helpful
I know this video is old...but do you charge your buyers for your shipping supplies...i just started and i have no idea what to use lol
Thanks for sharing, it was very useful for us dear, have a great day too

thank you, this was really helpful ^-^
Thanks for great tips😍😍😍
very cool.
You may wish to update your links, as many are going to error pages. Great video!
Hey love your videos. I was curious if you saw the plastic controversy with Baylee Jaye and if so, what your thoughts were.
Excellent
