How many times you think he said this story around the dinner table? A 16 min story to what I bet was a 2 minute situation
@@Vicstheone Did he shoot one of your cousins or something ? Why are there so many dudes replying to every other comment absolutely shitting all over this guy ? Makes no sense .
@@SabbaticusRex I wasn’t shitting in him? The story was so well articulated.. that you can tell he said it many times before . One of my cousins? Was that an attempt at trying to be funny?
I'm just happy seeing Chuck Liddell turned his life around man..
I walked into a laundry mat once and this guy said, what you looking at slick?
5 days later I thought of the perfect thing to say.
Today it's one of my greatest stories.
Well. That sounds like a justified use of lethal force.
Yes. The operative word speaks volumes.
The story is a lie. That's because he's an actor. To much detail. Go back to CIA training for Joe propaganda show
You will still find online éxperts' who vehemently disagree . So many fruitcake psychos out there now . . proud of their illness' and eager to make the world burn .
Great story teller with best interviewer .
This man is a hero, me personally Im not afraid to admit I could NOT live with the fact If I had to take someone’s life even if they were bad. Thank goodness we got good guys like him who wouldn’t hesitate in a critical situation like that!
Rural people tell the worst stories. Full of lies and tall tales
@@ChicanoOne760 ok
@@timbodnar6711 dudes left 150 comments on this channel and they all appear to be baseless. The goal just seems to shit on anyone and everyone. I'm sure he's a very happy individual in his private life
@@ChicanoOne760 get a life 😂
@ChicanoOne city people soft and spongie.
Can feel the guy reliving those moments while telling the story; good thing for him he has a why like he said, especially for when they can't prevent a tragedy.
He’s lying, anyone who knows the very minimal basics of shooting knows this. A story it is. A fantasy story
@@nightlandz1291 lol .. some people just find it _impossible_ to give respect even when earned above and beyond . Jealous bitter energy . Who hurt you ?
@@SabbaticusRex He doesn't deserve respect, he's obviously lying.
Glad to see Chuck Lidell enjoying his post-UFC career
This guy is the real deal. Thanks for your service!
I like watching Joel teach guys how to pull thru a shot and not jerk on the trigger, comical but really thorough! Him and his son are top notch bow shots!
Great to see chuck liddell finding his way to another level of success more power to u ice man
Do you guys have a huge, plugged in, intelligent, unaffected casting team, or what? I mean, the way you find quality interviews and interesting topics is amazing! Joe and team kill it in content!!!
Hopefully you didn’t actually text that number 😂
probably have a huge backlog of potential guests over the years
This dudes got the "I don't give warnings" haircut. Lol
I think every extreme SWAT op goes down like this. LOTS of lessons to be learned here.
Awesome depiction and recount! Feel very bad for the girl :(
Loved what this guy said in the last 10 seconds of this podcast!
It’s so crazy to hear this story on this podcast. This was my friend’s kid. She was nonverbal for a long time.
@@kungfooshoo how is she now?
Great description of the mechanics, emotions and problem solving of a shoot/don't shoot sniper situation.
The most intense JR experience right there
14:00 onward is my life's philosophy: "Don't seek answers from people who are asking the same questions." I stopped hanging out with the friends I had in high school and started hanging out with people who were 5 years+ older than me who had been there, done that. Especially look out for father figures.
His son is one amazing archer !! Got lots of love for Joel 🤟🤟🤟🤟
This guy is an absolutely TREMENDOUS storyteller! What a gem of a dude
the way that some people are able to decipher what's going on, and they can focus and thrive under pressure and be able to do things that should take YEARS of mental training, come into fruition while under such pressure. It's so unbelievable
Snipers are on a higher level💯
My butt was clinched......what a story teller
This guy should be proud of himself to the highest extent!
He’s lying, anyone who knows the very minimal basics of shooting knows this
Jealous much?
Man I teared up listening to this amazing man’s story!! Thank God for guys like this, that takes his job,his skill, so seriously! OMG saying thank you for your service is not enough but it’s all I have!! Thank You ❤️😎
Gay lmao. Yes go thank the CIA for their service in bringing meth and fentanyl over the border to justify this guys job and the bs legal system and prison system. Save your tears for somebody else like the Americans imprisoned for being led into the capital by police.
You teared up...really?
Insane story - that audible exhale is 🐐'd
I want this guy to hand me a beer at a BBQ and ask if I want to buy the UFC card tonight.
He’s lying, anyone who knows the very minimal basics of shooting knows this
@@nightlandz1291 are you actually just copy/pasting this? How bored are you?
The most riveting story I’ve heard in a long time!! Bravo to this guy doing an impossible job and others like him 💪🙌 I can’t imagine
You ok bud @trulysupersaiyan
He is so happy to talk about this
“I don’t have the right tools”
I felt that
As a hunter, I have so much respect for this detail he put into just taking the safety off, before the squeeze.. Great interview.
hes not a hunter, hes a loser with no balls
"Im just a dumb cop man"
Literally lead sniper of a SWAT Division 😂😂
My biggest flex is not needing any explanation for his terminology. Thank you flannel daddy 🤣
Put your finger over mine and let's ghost that trigger

this guy really looks like he eats donuts for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Certified LEGEND
Nah- id say.. maybe ribs and steak.
I bet you look like you are surrounded with gluttony & sleep in your mother's basement while partaking in endless games of Call of Duty & Red Bull energy drinks. #RealTalk
@@Jon_Bonds_Jovi nope i eat donuts for breakfast, lunch and dinner too- no time for "chilling" in a basement or wasting time on a game ;)
@@realtalk5626 Haha touche... well done
Thanks
The world need more men like him
Brilliant. So well spoken and described, especially and particularly the end part about "but did they blueprint it?"
I'd love to see more interviews of this guy.
This was the most focused I ever been on what one man is saying for fifteen minutes...damn that was...that was something
Good story teller. I felt like I was there. Intense. Happy things turned out as good as possible.
I wouldn't say that was as good as possible but the girl did make it out alive.
story is ass he sounds like he’s lying by adding so much extra bs
I've taking Joel's Shot IQ course and been lucky enough to meet him at Ryan Lamper's Western Hunting Summit course. Joel's an amazing teacher and stand up dude. Awesome to see him on JRE. 💯
Any sentence construction tips?
Imagine actually telling your barber to give you that haircut.
This means at some point in history, some dude walked into a haircut holding a picture of a small island & said “I want that”.
Fast forward years later, he becomes a cop. All the cops are so envious of his small island cut that they want the small island. They NEED the small island. And the rest is history...
The reason his hair looks goofy is his hairline, you have to make your undercut or fade skinnier as your hairline recedes or it'll look even worse
@@CantTellYou bot comment
Does it himself i imagine
Imagine getting that tattoo
Wow that guy is a great story teller.
Thats a whole bunch of solid advice for any walk of life.
Very good description , had almost the same scenario on patrol 12 feet apart , knife to female throat , but I had much more of perp facial area to work with , factory sights glk 19 , gave me a flashback and the rest is history
Every group of friends has a guy who is bad at telling stories.
This dude is the king of those guys.
