GTA V high settings with around 40 fps on a true budget build is not pushing the limit...
Its a dream come true.
that frame stutter, from what I'm assuming is a cpu bottleneck, looks like a rough ride though. but yeah surprisingly good
I got 60 fps on high settings with GT 1030, 8gb ram and i7 7700
the i3 2100 is bottlenecking the GT1030
i get 60 fps on high with gt 1030 and i7 860
Alex Sampsonite i think it was just the recording since he didnt say anything about it🤔
So true..just need to tweak some settings and voila you will have 60 fps +
I was not expecting that many fps

Many* :)
aidan c. its much you grammar noob
Getoar Sadiku
It's definitely 'many.'
man·y

more (comparative adjective) · most (superlative adjective)
a large number of:
"many people agreed with her" · "the solution to many of our problems" · "many think it is a new craze"

synonyms: people · common people · masses · multitude · populace · public · rank and file · proletariat · mob

In this case it is "a large number of" frames per second. Don't try to correct something that's already right.
Jeez, are you triggered? Big deal if they don't use the right word. You can still tell what they meant, which is all that matters.

I don't really care, I was just informing them of the correct use of the word. :)
Gta 5 at 40 fps pushing the limits !?
Here in my area if one's pc could run gta 4 in 15 fps low settings we consider it as a great gaming pc .......... Too poor to afford a gaming beast ......
~$70 USD can get you that card
Gta 4 is badly opitimized though
Abbey Road
But for that card we will need a
-new CPU
-new motherboard
-new faster ram
etc ....
........so total cost at least $450
And gt1030 is worth $92 in my country + all other parts are also expensive
Why would you need new faster ram for that?...
Jayden van oorschot
Becoz new games can't run on ddr1 ram 😅
In my country (Brazil) only the gpu (in local currency R$) costs the price of the complete pc converted into dollars for reais (R$).
Sad.
Sorry bad english, using google translate.
google translate did a bad job
+Syberbully Probably because it's google translate
I should really change my name bad why, for.me.looks correct
you dudes at brazil have ROBUX as money? wtf
Tudo bem, desculpe o Português ruim.
Perfect timing for this video, I was just thinking about buying a GT 1030 for my Dell Optiplex 775 which I managed to pick it up for around $30 and I'm supplying it with 8GB of RAM and a Q6600 in a few days, adding a GT 1030 would make this a capable machine.
Grab a gtx 560ti if you can power it as it's better performance for half the price
I have a Pentium G2010 and 4GB of DDR3, how would this, paired with the GT1030 run BF3 and TF2?
MrSpecialR Not sure about bf3 but TF2 could run on a potato lel.
+MrSpecialR I had an Optiplex 775 laying around a few weeks ago and I had a 1050 laying around also, so I decided to try it out. The OEM mobo had no problem supplying the 75 Watts required by the card. I ran Unigine Heaven benchmark with no issues at all. Definitely go for the 1050 rather than the 1030. It's at most $30 more but is well worth it.
All I had to do to make the 1050 fit was take some snips and cut off a small piece of the CPU plastic shroud in the corner, where it would collide with the card otherwise.
Which form factor was the machine?
I just added the RAM and noticed that the PCI-e slot on my SFF is limited to 25W which is even less than the GT 1030's rated 30 watts.
I'm using that gpu with my old i3-540 and 8gb of ram and it works very well. Was not expecting this myself.
Lizzie Can you play games like csgo and high graphic games
RedRagingBeast i also have a gt 1030 using a i3 540 with 8GB ram and i can play watchdogs with high setting running at 78fps max, 56fps min. GTA 4 at 100fps ultra setting
Robert McDermott
What!😨😨😨
i don't think so
Yeah i was shocked myself, i just got GTA 5 and it runs just over 60fps on high settings. If you dont beleave me check out my youtube channel Lifeisnow101

Oh thats nice
Great build and great explanations Matt!
Can U build a $500 gaming pc that can run roblox and with mowds pls??????without lag of course.

BadassMOfoe GAmen27 my toaster can run roblox so why the heck do you even ask for roblox
you can run that crap with GTX 730M on high jesus why wuld you ask that much price

Great video Matt, been trying to do a VERY similar build for a video but I haven't found a good enough OEM deal yet.

I got a similar system on Ebay but for $70. Granted, it came with a more powerful i5-2400, 8GB RAM, and 250GB HDD already installed, but putting in a GT 1030 really turned this machine into a little gaming beast.
Victor Panait how much did you pay for the gt 1030
what ebay user for the PC if you can? i need one too
Man you should of got the gtx1050 ti low profile now thats beast
Tempor Rage I paid $105 Canadian dollars
Andrew Simpson that’s gonna be my next upgrade
I have the same Optiplex 790 SFF with i5 2400. Installed a Gigabyte 1050Ti 4GB low profile, 8GB DDR3, Crucial MX300 525GB and 1TB WD blue.
Ran furmark and prime95 for few hours. No issues ;)
Great video! I did something very similar a few weeks ago. I found a Dell Inspiron mini at a thrift store untested for $10. It had no HDD but is an Ivy Bridge i3-3240 with 8GB DDR3 1600. I bought an MSI GT1030 and a WD 250GB SSD and now I have a great little HTPC for 4k60 video and even light 1080p gaming. Total cost was $185, Including an LG Blu-ray drive.
How many watts is the power supply?
What's funny is that I thought the 1030 would suck, however, upon seeing these numbers I decided to search out a comparison between the 1030 and my card. Turns out the 1030 would be an upgrade. It also turns out that pairing an i7 4970 with an r7 360 was a bad idea.
6:04 " I was surprised how well it run" 😂
that's pretty good for 115 dollars
this is actually 200 $ cheaper than a console xd
HELL YEAH! i got a dell optiplex with a core i5 3570 and 12 gb ram. so far when researching how much i could use it for gaming, everyone else's optiplex was always a bit better, either with an i7 or extra ram, i was pretty sure my setup would suck for gaming, but now knowing that u got a playable experience with a 2nd gen i3, im hyped!
Tech By Matt can you try this pc with a better gpu like the 1050
Nope, that Dell only supports a 35W PCIe card. Which is why I'm running an GT 1030 in mine as an HTPC.
Very Funny why 75w pcie card don't work?
Wan HL Watch the video. He links NOAB.
I have a Optiplex 990 SFF (same case and similar specs to this PC, although different motherboard and chipset) and have no problems with my Gigabyte GTX1050ti on just PCI-e power.
I have an i5 though with 16GB RAM and an SSD, so a much better suited system to a more powerful card such as the 1050ti.
You'll start to see diminishing returns with a card faster than a 1030 with only a Sandy Bridge i3.
Not according to Dell. Page 19 of the technical guidebook.
a lot of HTPC builders use this graphic card because it has hardware 4K H265 HEVC decoding capabilities, so ideal to playback 4K content with NO extra NOISE :)

You can run Mario Odyssey (Yuzu). We ran it at 45-60fps with a core i3 4th gen, 8GbB ram and a GT 710 !!! You'll have to apply some shaders and mods though
Which GTX 1050 would work with this? Amazon link would be appreciated...
GTX 1050 need at least 75W Stable supply, it greatly depends on your PSU and board VRM.
That's what I did with this Dell I bought off someone! I took it, stuck 8gb ram in it, found a GTX 950 for 60 bucks, and stuck a Xeon X5660 in there and now it's pretty beast for cheap! :D
I have a dell optiplex 790 sff and plan on adding a gt 1030, Will the gigabyte geforce gt 1030 passively cooled fit in the computer?
(Yes i understand forking another 20-30 dollars for active cooled is much better for temps)
Love my OptiPlex 990 SFF. Intel Core i5-2500S + low-profile Zotac GTX 1050 Ti, with a 4 TB HD providing ample storage for my smaller SSD boot disk. I’ve also got it dual-booting to macOS in addition to Windows 10, so yeah, I’m pretty happy with it. This is a solid computer that I’d recommend to anyone who wants a compact and relatively powerful build.
GT1030 stomps a GTX750ti XD

This is how I built a sim racing rig using my old Acer Veriton X4618G small form factor after I upgraded. When I bought this computer it was pretty well up there in spec, with a 2nd gen i7 processor, 8GB and 500GB drive. I started off just adding a PNY GT1030 2GB. It was the only card that would fit in the bottom of the Veriton. Even minimal as the footprint of this card is, it barely had 1/8 inch of clearance at the bottom of the case. It did run my Assetto Corsa just fine with setting at 2/3 to 3/4 max. I was getting frame rates of 55-60. The problem was heat. My GPU was maxing out at 83C and the card would throttle down during max load. Even though it worked fine I decided to get a new case, and while I was at it I bought a lightly used Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD to use as my boot drive. Much better. Running faster and does not sound like a tornado in the box while driving the Nurburgring Nordschliefe. I highly recommend this path if you have a old computer like this but if it is a small form factor you should upgrade the case. It will give you the added benefit of a better power supply as well. At the time I upgraded Corsair had a $20 rebate on its VS450 power supply which was selling for $35. I will be able to upgrade this box easily if I so choose in the future.
You should do a video on a $800 used PC (Crossfire/Sli and maybe dual Xeons).
Probbaly a server would be his best bet. If you can get a server with dual Xeons and a lot of ram for about $200, as long as the server has the power connectors for the cards, put two high-end used cards in it (once the prices come back down, please miners settle down a little!), link them in SLI and there you go. The reason these machines are so cheap is because they are used for VMWare EXSi, and for some reason there simply isn't enough cpu power to keep the VM's happy, or they are just getting too old, so the corps put them up for sale. I have a DL120 G7 in a closet with dual E5540's in it and a 1060 and it happily runs most games on the 'high' (NOT ULTRA) preset, which got for $50 on Ebay. After of course I did a jank-wagon HDD-tray to PCI-e 6 pin hack, then that literally caught on fire so I just bought one for $6.
His video not gonna cover the budged..
Interesting video. I've got an Optiplex 990 SFF that I've upgraded to make a nice lan box. i7-2600, 16GB DDR3, 240GB SSD + 500GB HDD + DVDRW and a Galax GTX1050Ti O/C LP 4GB. Have cut the front metal mesh out and replaced the fan with a quieter, higher static pressure Silverstone model. It runs stuff really well, but the card can get pretty toasty. Going to cut and filter a hole in the side panel for the GFX to get some cooler air. Might also cut a hole in the top and filter it so the CPU cooler can pull air in from outside instead of off the back of the GFX.
hello i have dell optiplex 990 i7 2600 16gb ram 1tb ssd. I can plug into a 4gb video card, will it work?
@@bars4721 yes as long as the physical size of the card is correct.

If you want to go any faster than a 1030 in a SFF Dell Optiplex I'd recommend a 990 SFF and at least a i5 2400 to take advantage of the extra power.
Fucking USA... 36$ for that? I bought an Optiplex 755 from the UK with a 320GB HDD, 4GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM, and a Core2Duo e6850 for 50£ (which is like 70€) plus 15£(20/25€) shipping that brought me to around 90€. Ffs.
Your average comment - not everage at all, you're making progress!
Your average comment - Aw gross UK?
I bought it from Ebay UK because I'm from Portugal, it was so expensive compared to what people can get in the USA.
Never buy pre built pcs online from another country the shipping costs really aren't worth it. 60 euros for a system like this wouldn't be that much of a waste and even if this guy got it for 40 you have to realize that making videos is his job so he probably checks ads all of the time to find the best deals provided he even says the truth about the price.
Oloko até português aqui kakaka...
Hi bro kindly reply,I have got the optiplex 790 co i7 with a 8 gig memory and I need to maximize its power for video editing, would you suggest the gt1030 or the GTX 1050i low profile?

You are getting CPU bottlenecks. Use msconfig enabling the boot option to use all of the cores and set program time out to 3 seconds hit apply and restart. 4 core use will have a better response than forcing all commands through one core. I think you should also use Vulkan over Direct X.
Why is this ?
I have same specs but with i5 2nd gen. will my cpu give higher frames?
thanks
Truly a niche creation no one does the budget build like Matt does.
I have an old, small form factor OEM with a Pentium G630, 4GB memory, and a 1TB 5400rpm hard drive. The main limiting factor for a GPU is the crappy 220w PSU. Would I be able to use a GT 1030 with it anyway? Also, is it a good choice with the G630, or would it be bottlenecked? Thanks in advance
The GT1030 is ideal for the system you've got. I'm running a GT 1030 in an Acer OEM machine with a 220w PSU like yours, as well as similar other specs, and I've had no issues with power requirements. Something like an RX460 or GTX 1050, while much better in terms of price to performance, is simply too risky to use on such low wattage.
The CPU will be a slight bottleneck, but providing you stick to e-sports , any dual core CPU is fine and you'll reach 60FPS on a mixture of higher and medium settings. Happy gaming my friend :)
Great, thanks! Also, do you know of any budget 1080p gaming monitors? I have 2 monitors, 1280x1024 and 1440x900. Neither of them is even 16:9, so I'm looking for a new one.
I'm happy i could help!
I'm not an expert on monitors, so take my advice with a pinch of salt. However, by 'budget' I assume you mean below £/$150. For a budget display, g-sync and freesync are out of the question, and IPS technology, from what I've seen personally is not essential, and the difference between that and normal displays is only noticeable in situations which aren't typical of everyday gaming.
You're looking at a 24 or 21.5 inch panel, both running full 1080p, in that sort of price range, depending on the features you want (such as response time, refresh rate and which ports it comes with. Lower response times are better, higher refresh rates are better, and ports aren't usually an issue, depending on what cables you have spare.) I personally use a 24 inch monitor by Acer, and I find its just the right size, as 27 inch screens start to get too big and mean I'm not able to see the entire screen in my field of view (not ideal when gaming).
For the best entry-level/budget monitor, I'd say this monitor by Asus has to be the ideal choice (www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-VS248HR-Gaming-Monitor-DVI-D/dp/B014RKZ81O/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1499547459&sr=1-3&keywords=acer+24+inch+monitor) It's the bestseller in monitors, so is probably justified in its 4.5 star reviews. Wait around for Amazon prime day (11th july) and this monitor may even be reduced.
Final point on speakers; this monitor won't come with any, and it varies from monitor to monitor at this price point as to if they've got integrated speakers or not. However, since you're looking to game, I'm guessing you already have some headphones or a USB headset, which can both run through your desktop tower, so integrated speakers shouldn't be an issue for you.
I think I may have that system (25 of them actually) , I only use them for mining with a gtx 1050ti. (25 of them) If the PCI-E slot supports a 75w card then You can use a gtx 1050ti. I've actually overclocked them 100 on the core and 200 on the memory and lowered the power limit to 80% with MSI afterburner. I ran a bunch of benchmarks on the 1st one I set up, furmark, 3d mark vantage, Wprime and they all ran stable. No problems on any of them yet. They run 24/7.
Even with the 220w PSU? Seems a bit too much. Besides, I usually only play older titles, like NFSMW, GTAVC, and others around that time period, so I probably don't need anything more than a 1030.
I'm glad that 3 years later you might find both of these for under 100 total
So can we play demanding titles at low settings with 30+ FPS,?
Sahil Mambilly you can play aaa games at 768p or 900p for more than 30 FPS.
ankur tripathi I bought the Witcher 3. And I play it at medium settings 1280×1024 smoothly
Sahil Mambilly what are your other specs? Like processor, ram etc.
ankur tripathi i5 2nd Gen, 4 GB RAM, 1TB Hard-disk. That's it.
@@Skulltroxx You need 8GB of RAM for smoother gameplay experience.

I get most of my computers and parts at the local dump for free, depending on the place they may ask you to remove the hard drive before taking it for "security" but most local transfer stations get these older desktops regularly and have to sign contracts with recycling companies that can take such things and dispose of them properly so most guys that work there are happy to let you pick through whatever you want before the put it away.

Lol average of mid 40 fps... This looks more like 15🤣🤣🤣 @ 6:10
it's because recording, if he's not recording then he'll get 40 fps
Just one thing to watch out for with the 1030 is make sure you get the ddr5 cards and NOT the ddr4 cards. Its a dirty trick some of the manufactures are doing to save on costs.
So even on the core 2 generation, ddr4 gt 1030 still waste?
the i3 2100 might be bottlenecking the gt 1030 a little bit...
WTF !!! there is no bottlenecking with gt1030 and i3 ...look at the cpu usage (Under 90%) while the gpu must be 100% usage (sorry for my bad english)
XD hell the fuck no it isn't the i3 2100 is running awesome with a GTX 960 in my friends rig with no bottleneck and i used to run an i3 2120 which is just a slightly higher clocked version with a GTX 780 and it was fine in most games unless it was a game that was cpu dependent and barely used the gpu, an example of that would be heavily modded minecraft.
TheWarheadTornado u talk crap
You obviously have no knowledge in tech..
Not at all, doesn't even bottleneck a RX 460. You could utilize a 1050ti in many games with i3 2100/2120.

I bought the same Pc of a site manly laptops, but it was already upgraded with a gt 1030, an i5 and 18 gb ram, and it was a windows 10
you know there is gtx 1050ti in that model and same form factor
But it's not 35w is it.
I think 75w is enough for that
Sometimes old oem motherboard like the one in the video, while saying they can supply 75 watts only supply around 50-55 watts in some cases. Where as the gt 1030 only requires 35 watts making it a good GPU for all oem computers. If you can get 75 watts out of your pci-e slot I would go with a gtx 1050ti though.
It's still twice as much. I want to build a system like this an save up for a i7 and a 1070 later down the line.
Yeah, but it's £150.
Not bad GT 1030
I once had a Dell Optiplex 990 SFF which had an i5 2400 rather than the i3, and before I had a better PC I stuck with it and used a GTX 750 Ti LP
Performance wise it was better than the 1030 especially when Overclocking was added to the mix, but consider that the 750 Ti LP is probably going to be hard to find on the used market for the same price you can get the 1030.
IMO, the 1030 is a good starting point for those who are on a tight budget but want to game, the Radeon 550 is also a good option if it's not an OEM build but for those stuck on OEM, the 1030 is a good upgrade. Though the best performance you can get with just PCIe power? 1050 Ti
Perhaps you could test that and see how much of a jump that provides to this system?

Got an Optiplex 9020 with 8GB RAM an i5 4570 for $80. Paired it with the MSI GTX 1050 for $99. One drawback is that the 9020 has a 4x PCIE if you using a dual slot GPU. Works but get around 10% performance penalty.

I picked up an old Dell Optiplex 7010 for $100. It has 16bg RAM, a GeForce 10 video card, blue Ray/DVD player and an Intel I5 3570 @ 3.4 gHz processor. I added a Samsung 500gb solid state hard drive.
This PC will be used to play movies, music and some light gaming connected to a Samsung 55" TV.
Awesome video. Thanks!
Yes
you just answered all of my questions about putting a gt 1030 into an old dell thats collecting dust. thank you
Bought a prebuilt pc with a i5 3570 8 GB ram 500 gb HDD for $350 NZD.Added a 24" dell 1080p display for another $80.Thought of a GTX 1050ti but got a GTX 1060 G1 gaming for $450(New ones cost $529 here).had to change my corsair 500w psu with a EVGA 500b which cost another $100.All in all came to $980.My first PC from my own earnings.Feels good!
i got an intel i7 2600k processor for 100$ and then i bought a pentium g850+Asus H61 microATX board+akasa heatsink for 37$ (because that was a good deal as others were selling h61 mobos for 50 bucks) then a case for 8$ then a r9 270 for 100$ then a 550 PSU for 20$ then a 500GB SeaGate Barracuda for 20$ Total: 285$ cheap i7 build!
YES, finally found a video about a small case and weak PSU prebuilt PC to gaming PC. My PC is also a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF but with 8gb ram and core i5.
Good analysis! I just got one of these sff (i5 version) today but was missing ram and storage. Just needed info on upgrading and this video really helped!
Got a optiplex 7010 from the local university surplus sale with 250gb hdd, win 10, 8 gb ram and a i5 3570 all for 60$. I bought a zotac 1050 ti low profile and this thing is a fucking beast. Runs most games at 1080 and max settings.
Awesome. I got three Optiplex 755's from work for free, and I put a GT730 in one and it's my main gaming rig now. I just purchased 8 gigs of RAM for it (the max the board can deal with) but now you have me wanting a gt1030. Thanks, bro. :)
Nice video. I am putting a GT1030 in an old form factor PC. I've been waiting for such a low wattage card to come out for a while (because crappy PSU). Good to see it working so well. I have a question for you. What is the PCIe slot type you have in your setup? Is it PCIe 2.0 x16 size but with only x4 actual lanes? It seems that these older OEM PC motherboards have only this type of slot and I was hoping this would not hold the GT1030 back.
I recently bought an HP slim computer, cam with an intel I5 3470 and threw in a GTX 1050 low profile and I can play plenty of AAA titles for around $180.
Haven't had a problem with the 240w power supply yet. But I plan on starting to upgrade soon.
Thats awesome
Came across this video searching for options for a 990 optiplex (i7 2600) but the PSU is only 225 watts. Card options?
anything more recent that will work?
On of the most informative videos on sff graphics cards compatibility around!!!!
Bcan you show us an optiplex 7010 with i3 2120 4 or 8 gigs of ram and gpu
Thanks for the video Matt, question:
Is viable to transfer the internal components to regular case?
Thanks for such a clear explanation of an Optiplex upgrade It has been extremely helpful.
I have on my desk right now a Dell Vostro 260s with i3-2120 running a GTX 1050 low profile without any problem. On Amazon UK, at least, the MSI low profile 1050 is 100pounds.
Holy hell, were you actually really running Nvidia PCSS in GTA 5? That's an incredibly taxing effect that makes shadows blurrier the further they are from the source of the shadow, I'm surprised that ran so well at all!
The GT1030 and an older Dell pre-built is what I'm using for emulation nowadays. Redream runs fine on the machine saving me the hassle of having to connect my Dreamcast.
I did a build extremely similar to this! 🤘 the mini dells are limiting but it’s cool to see one pump out games like it was never designed to 🤣
We picked up a Dell workstation with an SSD and i-7 3770 for 400 on New Egg for 400 bucks and dropped a 1030 in in. Super satisfied.
very informative. thanks for the effort showing the power of GT 1030 + cheap pc.
I put a gt 1030 low profile 2gb in a dell otiplex 7010 and it was working fine at first but then stopped it kept turning on and off when I took out the graphics card and tried it again it didn't work could someone help me
I've got that exact pc, and in saving up for a low profile gtx 1050. I've got the i5 version tho
any luck?
My system is similar... it's a dell 3050 with a gt1030 and 16gb ram. Works very well and would recommend it for a budget gaming PC.
This video is very insightful, I was on the bench about buying a 1030 for my pc since I was worried it won’t keep up with games such as fallout 4, overwatch and battlefield 4, but knowing I have 16gigs of ram and now seeing this, all my fears have been resolved, great video and will definitely buy this gpu
I installed on 8GB Memory + GTX 1050 Ti + i5-2500 = 1080p Goodness Rock solid for over a year.
Do you have a SFF optiplex? Did you go with the Low profile 1050ti?
Yes SFF and I’m using the Low Profile MSI GTX 1050 Ti 4GB DDR5. love my little 1080p PC.
Thank you for asking.
@@ivelissefranco8127 i was about to order 1050 ti low profile for optiplex 7010 sff but heard that 1650ti low profile is on the way. :|
Send me the link I can’t find anything on that.

This PC costs no less than $250 if built in South Africa.
Was looking for a similar PC on local 2nd hand website and similar systems are going for R2400, the gt 1030 costs R1200 new, totalling R3600 which is $271
Thanks for video, I actually am using the i5vpro CPU variety of this sff desktop with 16 ram of same exact build. This proof of concept was just what I needed to encourage a buy. Also for those who are curious on how it runs before the change, it currently uses a intel(r) hd graphics 4600 which places fps for gta v to a range of 14 to 30 fps. Still weak to some if not able to change out card yet, but entry level wise I would highly recommend, especially with 1030.
Man I wish I could find a whole computer on ebay for that kind of money. Free shipping too? Are these sellers nuts?
I picked up an old HP Z200 Workstation at a goodwill for 40 bucks. It had no HDD or RAM for the matter... but this video gives me hope that it can become a surprisingly capable system.
Putting a gt 1030 ddr5 with a e7300 4gb ram after finally goes the price reasonable, i got a big improvements from a hd5450 1gb.
Impressive how honkai star rail went from 3-4 fps to 30-60 fps!
Hello there. Just wondering, would you get more fps with an intel i5 2400 processor?
Idk about i5 but i7 2600 is like an i3 9100f
Had 3rd gen dells at a place i worked, always joked i would max one out to the IT guy. Finally bought one couple weeks ago... 3rd gen i7, 4 ram slots, 2 pcie.... I ordered a low profile GTX 1650, and some corsair lowprofile 8gb x4 ram sticks, and a 1tb ssd to add to the free sata port.. so far max power draw on the stock psu is 150, its rated for 240... I also picked up 2 diff TFX psu one by silverstone and the other by seasonic... neither fits in the case as is, due to a raised bump under the stock psu... using a dremel it is easy to remove this bump to make a TFX psu fit, for higher quality and higher power psu
Am thinking of inserting a Rx 460 in a dell Optilex with a core 2 duo CPU. I'll be mostly playing FIFA and PES. also with GTA V,CS:GO and some other triple A titles at low settings. How would my PC perform?
