Hey Tony, I'm a content creator myself, and i also work as a photographer and videographer as my main job, I stumble across your video because i am also getting burned out rn. Now I feel better that i found this. Even though i barely know you, but I can totally relate to what you feel. Thanks for making this video, will return if I need it again. Keep up the great work and content!

Hi Tony! I've been following you (thanks to Thomas) for a couple of years and I'm sad you're having a difficult time. At the same time, I find myself in a very similar situation and your message here makes me wanting changing my life and finding a way to protect myself against all work and stress. I feel like my work-life balance is not balanced and I need to change that. Your message encouraged me to do it so I hope you do it as well. Lots of courage to you, I'm sure you will be fine very soon! Greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪!

Thank you for this video! I am going through the same thing as an editor, and I am currently burned out. I have no idea how to get out of it, but I start having issues with starting to work at all: from someone who worked 12+hr a day to not getting started; if I take a weekend off to work on my personal life stuff then I am almost behind with work; I don't sleep well nor enough, and then I have a rush and I do in one day what I didn't do in 3 days but then I am having a hard time again. Trying to find a balance now too- hope you are better and if you got any thoughts on how to balance things let me know!

Tony, I resonate so much with what you're saying. Especially with the your mind feeling like it's tearing apart cause you want to do your own thing, but then you want to continue doing work for others then feeling guilty when you take time.
Luckily my partner is amazing at helping me set good habits around work-life balance. Like you told yourself, don't forget to take breaks.
My thought is that I'll get there when I get there, there's no need to rush to the destination when you're enjoying what you do right now. Sure doing your own thing is important to you so you'll find the time for it, but you just need to focus on what is encouraging you to create for yourself or others right now.
You're doing great, and I look forward to seeing what you continue to put out as a fellow editor. :)

@@TonyStoodios to be 100% honest, I just discovered you today, you are a good guy, I am a beginner in video editing and I just started learning with some courses from Udemy for Davinci Resolve. But listening to you behind all you talking something say me "The guy count if I stop this I lose so much of this if I stop that I lose so much of this ". Just find one comfort zone where you don't burn out, or at least take a break for 1-2 weeks somewhere that is peaceful without anyone just you with yourself. Give yourself a time.
Sorry for the bad English but I hope you can understand my point.
