theres also rumors that Michael Brandsegg-Nygård will play for Skellefteå AIK next year, so if he gets drafted by hte red wings, he will then play with another red wings prospect in the form of Axel Sandin-Pellikka
tips from a native Norwegian on how to say his last name; both D's are silent. say "Gourd" instead of gård, just without the D. If you wanna get super technical, say the Y like the very first sound in "your". or look up "how to say the swedish Y" on youtube, it's the same as in Norwegian and a really good explanation
Do you think hockey is quickly growing in Norway? From a country that had 0 first rounders to 2 in one year that's a pretty good jump. It would be best for the hockey world if more nations participated and Norway has plenty of winter talent to one day become as good as Sweden/Finland.
Absolutly The Norwegian is an Yzerman's favorite profile but the offense is definitly an underrated part of his game kid has a heck of a shot a really smart positioning and a decent playmaking that can only get better and better
I am for Nygard he is suited for what the Red Wings expect. Good size at 6ft1 200 pounds......plus he shoots right. Detroit is drafting in the region of at least 6 right handed forwards which is a great situation. Many are speculating Greentree 'who is a great prospect but his skating needs major work Connelly is a head case, but could be what the roster needs to jolt the status quo....a typical swing for the fences pick.
The Wings have loaded up on two-way players for years. They have one of the best prospect pools in the league, primarily for that reason. The Wings have well rounded prospects at every position, but you know what they dont have? True game breaking talent.. or as you put it, high offensive talent. I think the Wings are at the point where they need to swing for the fences in the first few rounds. Instead of going for the safest best player available, they need to go for the most upside best player available. Its obvious quite often that the Wings lose simply because they have less high-end talent than their opponent. The draft lottery wasnt kind, lol. So yeah, Yzerman needs to start swinging for the fences. I've loved his rebuild so far, but now he needs to miraculously find that missing elite talent without ever having the benefit of getting a top 3 draft pick. For that reason, its gotta be a guy like Eiserman or Sennecke.
Totally agree, SY needs to take a big swing on a goal scoring impact player. We have a lot of the middle six forwards but very few legit top line forwards on the team or in the system. As others have said, Eiserman would be that elite potential guy. I think MB-N could be a good player but I think it's time to take a big swing.
What ? Lol no Eiserman is unlikely to become a game breaker surely would be a great point producer but that's all the scouts make him fall in the standings despite him breaking the cole caufield goals record for a reason just think a little bit about it.. you surely could make a case for Sennecke if available which I doubt but definitly not Eiserman
That's defintekly an Yzerman type of pick. Not sure he'll be there at 15. Another player that I have heard that they might be interested in is Beckett Sennecke.
Exactly. If Eiserman is available, you take him. Sennecke would definitely be my #2. If neither player is available, I'm okay with going a lot of ways.. with Brandsegg-Nygard being one of my favorite 3rd options.
I doubt Eiserman is there. If he is he's basically another version of Berggren. They want 200ft players and I think the personality/effort issues may turn them off too
@edenisburning perhaps style is different but essentially, both are purely offensive players, and Yzerman was preaching more defensively sound play is needed. He's gone before 15 but if not they pass. He could have drafted Jonathan Lekkerimäki in 2022 (a sniper) but passed
You were right!!!

Won't ASP be in Grand Rapids next season?
@@andrewborody no, its confirmed he will play for skellefteå one more year, then hes probably going over to north america

So Bransegg-Nygar?

Lego called it 😂

Outside MBN, Sennecke is definitly the pick if he would be miraculously available

Based on his forecheck alone the wings cannot afford to miss on this kid.
He has a really good shot too

I want eiserman
Ya right. Stevie doesn’t take raw talent like that. He wants boring defensively responsible guys
@vinny1537 tf is asp? Is Raymond a shut down forward?
Not sure he will get by pick 12 with the Flyers. It seems like a Philly name.
@@ericscottstevens Michkov and Eiserman...yeesh
No, Sennecke has the ceiling to become a Game Breaker not Eiserman
I’d pretty much bet the house that the wings will pick this guy if he’s still there
We Needed a power winger! BOOM! ❤️
The only Guy I want more than him is Eiserman.
Dude kinda reminds me of Ryan Leonard but with worse hands but better forchecking
If the dude is that good, then he will be gone before 15.
🎯
Eiserman 1st want, sennekke 2nd, nygard 3rd

@@wlnlax14 What?!? Eiserman is a pure goal scorer. A sniper. Berggren is a small skill, perimeter player. They are completely different player types.

Nygard
Connelly
Sennecke
should have played the video :/
Can we trade up. How about we trade lalonde and the first lol. Jk
We don't need another rasmussen drafted in the first round
it will be some european bum who stays in grand rapids for the next 5 years lol
