Hejka.
I don't know about you, but I use Duolingo to start learning a language. Of course it isn't sufficient by itself, but helps a lot with the basics. Buuuut... Slavic languages are difficult indeed, I was learning Ukrainian and was suffering A LOT with the grammar, duolingo doesn't help with that 😵
Having recently discovered my great grandmother was a Crimean witch I searched for any info on the subject. Your channel is amazing. This subject is criminally understudied
I grew up in communist Poland, I am just learning our history...what you have shown me with this video finally allowed me the explanation of why I've been endlessly searching for the knowledge, (it's in my blood), it's the knowledge of my ancestors. You've given me the starting point and for that I am grateful
Fascinating and inspirational. Thank you for everything that you do. Would you know of any significant places of Magic/Fairy Tale/Slavic Mythology in Białystok?
Because the Slavs had a lot of knowledge from previous centuries. They passed through northern India knowing about the physical and metaphysical world, drawing from the Indian Vedas or vice versa, to this day the highest caste of priests have more European than Hindu features, they passed through present-day Iraq gaining knowledge in this area. Old pagan beliefs and customs symbols are still continued, but incorporated into the Christian tradition. E.g. the Day of the Dead - the Slavic "Forefathers' Eve", the pagan drowning of Marzanna - farewell to winter; Marzanna, the Slavic goddess, Kupala Day, Pentecost, decorations in homes, etc. are the result of Slavic paganism.
Proud to be Polish and a practicing witch since the 70,s
And you don't fear god the one who created satan whom you worship?
@babaabba9348 go away fool, my Pagan ways are far older than your Christian devil. Which by the way doesn't exist!
@@babaabba9348if u don’t believe in god then u don’t fear him. especially that being a witch is not worshiping satan.

Slavs were never in northern india, besides as tourists in modern times
My father's family came from this area. What do you know of Niya?
Hi! Niya was Polish god of undergrounds. Some say he was a faction of the god Veles and was worshipped by some Slavic tribes in Poland and beyond.
Hail Chernobog and Veles
Marzanna tho
