the game would have been actually really cool if they didnt add yasuke. did they add him just for the sake to have action RPG elements in it? he seems to be only there so people can have the best from both worlds, assassinations and brute force.
@@SadScientist1 great, I love games with political pandering such as metal gear solid series or cod series or gta series or disco Elysium or dues ex series or Assassin's creed series so I will happily buy this one too and with season pass just so I can piss of anti wokes 😂
some good things, some bad. the random glowing orbs are back, and it seens like some elements from valhalla are back, which is expected. i love how they actually run away when the smoke bomb drops, instead of standing there coughing. some enemies being immune to assassinations could be great, if there was a way to cheese the fight instead of being forced into drawn out combat. and all we get for yasuke is a bow...
With the smoke bomb I wished they improved the animation of the smoke but I like that some enemies immediately try to escape it. Failed assassinations are fine but if I sneak up on an enemy without detection, it should kill regardless. For Yasuke, I have no words...
Don’t see what’s wrong with the Yasuke one; he’s not an assassin. He fights like a Samurai with “honor” or whatever. He gets a bow and “brutal assassination”; where he yells at an enemy to face him and automatically kills them with a brutal attack, terrifying nearby foes. Am I the only one who reads the articles, interviews and Twitter posts?

@@white6505 the “whatever” was referring to the samurai bushido code, I just couldn’t remember at the time of writing. Also, I’m curious; what does assassin’s creed mean to you and why is this game a departure from it?
@@kingcal52 assassins creed meant a compelling narrative that linked the atmosphere, the story, the gameplay and all these aspects together. it meant an identity, a direction the franchise was moving towards and a feeling, an experience it was trying to convey. the mysticism, the hoods, the social stealth, the parkour. the unique way in which it approached stealth scenarios. all these things represent assassins creed. the recent games have moved away from it, specially odissey and valhalla, and shadows doesnt even try to claim a "return to form" like its predecessor.
We can grab ennemies 0:14... That's dope. Also, the way we can aim/move the camera at the beginning in from unity, that's cool. I hope that in options we will be able to remove the glowing around us when in the dark. In the smoke bomb part, guards were fleeing in the direction of the detonation, kinda mid imo
@@thedislikecounter9095 this game is very clearly an improvement over every AC so far, at least it seems that way, since we can't be sure until it comes out. nothing about it looks bad though.
@032_m.alfathcirrus5 Yeah I can see that and props to the team that worked on the stealth. Definitely see a lot of Tenchu, Splinter Cell, And Metal Gear in it. My biggest and possibly the only problem with the game is Yasuke, the hip hop music and the clunky combat. And also how outplace they made him look considering he was more of a vassal than a samurai.

Yeah yasuke was completely unnecessary, I'm fine with gay characters but making yasuke a gay dude and a samurai was an even worse choice

the assassinate fail seem kinda slow, is that how it is ingame or was that slowed down a bit?

Good or bad, we played assassin's Creed games since childhood, i played every single ac games, and i will play this one too, I'm gonna pre-order it
