A Brand New UI! | Washington #1 (Rail Route)

- In today's video we begin our new adventure on the Washington DC map. In this episode we begin with the basics once again, we get a good feel for the new UI and have a look at the major changes to the system upgrades section. I don't manage to add any new tracks or contracts (to the timetable) in this video but you can be sure to expect that in the next couple.

Great Vid, I was used to the UI too. Now I slowly learn with you, to slowly adapt to these new features.

Very nice vid. Do you have a full video on adjusting timetables? I know you hit on it a bit in this one but a full tut on that would be awesome...nice game though but very confusing.. 😄
Yes I sure can do. I will aim to make a tutorial on all the basics of the timetable system in the game! Many changes have been made so when I do I'll try to cover the main aspects as in some cases I've struggled a bit with keeping up-to-date with all the smaller changes!

Comment for the algorithm.
I'm looking at getting this game, so I look forward to watching this series. What's the advantage to constantly changing the time between pause and full speed? Wouldn't it be easier to just keep it at a slower speed?
There's no major advantage other than to help keep video shorter, and the pauses are there just to help me when I'm explaining things or thinking things through (so I don't make too many mistakes). However, when I'm not recording I'll often just keep it on 10x most of the time!
If you have only a few trains, yes, you can leave it running at 5x or so (if you know the game already). However later with many trains needing attention from time to time as you expand, you simply have to pause to amend things.
Good GOD. I was SCREAMING at the screen...over and over the config was listed in the lower right.
It would have been better if you had played the updated game before you made the video. I didnt learn anything from this video infact i found it a bit frustrating watching as you didnt have much clue as to how things were working. I will continue to watch for a while though as i am sure things will get better.
