To leverage your arrival and departure sensors as much as possible you need to configure the network such that trains departing from stations will be routed to a branching line where each branch goes to a different station. Each branch would have a separate signal/arrival sensor pair that the departing sensor would route to according to the train's next destination. The lack of a routing sensor will limit the amount of signals you can have on the lines between stations and thus lower the throughput, but at least everything will be automated.
G'day mate, looking forward to you look at Shunting. I have done the in-game tutorial and I j7st cant it into my head, for lovelorn money. It also looking like you need to do it with every recurring train (which is all that you shunt). I'm also at a loss to understand Coach yards.... any help would be great! (Having a blast playing ithe game, though. )
