  • Welcome Stitch Explorers! This weeks stitch is beautiful Three Color Square. This square is surprisingly simple to create, but the video ended up being slightly long because there are lots of trebles! I also wanted to make sure someone who is learning without reading patterns can create it too! Yay.
This square is something you can use to make baby blankets, and it's fairly large.
You can find the full written pattern on my blog at www.stardustgo... under "stitch tutorials" or find it here: bit.ly/StitchTu...
Thanks for stopping by, click that little bell to get notifications, and please subscribe for future tutorials.
Do you have a stitch or pattern you'd like a video created? Leave a comment! I'd love to create a video tutorial for you.
    Happy Crocheting & Much Love,
    Tasha

And by the way, I love your instructions because you're so REAL and down to earth. Showing us all the things we face in crocheting. Hope you make more videos.

hi, on the video you say 6 trebles for the first step after the chain 7 but on the tutorial on your blog, you say 5 trebles. can you clarify?otherwise great video, thank you very much

I noticed that too. Going by the blog you end up with a group of 5 not six for the first set. Going by the video you end up with 7 trebles for the last set. I adjusted it and did the chain 7 like she did then 3 sets of 6 trembles. The 4 th last set I did 5 trembles because that chain 7 from the beginning ends up with that last group replacing one of the trebles. You then end up with 4 even looking groups. I'm sorry I'm not great at explaining that.i hope you understand what I am trying to say

Yeah, I noticed that too. The blog post should be the most updated version. I modified it a little too since I created this tutorial.

I like the block - BUT you are very hard to follow (too many oopsies & "what did I do" or "I don't like that" or "no, I did that wrong".

Yeah, well...live and learn. I'm not trying to be perfect, just share what I learn ;). Over the years, I've learned to create better tutorials, better editing, etc. These days I edit out the "oopsies"

Here I am again. Sorry. Do you think youll make a beautiful join of the squares into a blanket? I do understand that we could keep on going, but I think making several squares and join them would be wonderful

Yes! I’m making a blanket now actually. I have been so busy but working up the squares and coming up with a way to joint them too.
