  • Apollo Robbins, self-described "Gentleman Thief," in conversation with Dr. John Gabrieli, PhD at the Cahners Theater, September 24, 2014.
What is it that allows people to be fooled? A lot of what we think of as magic is about fooling our eyes or our senses. But it's also, crucially, about fooling how we perceive things and understand them. In this conversation, Apollo Robbins and Dr. John Gabrieli discuss cognitive illusions, logical fallacies, heuristics, biases, the Dunning-Kruger effect, and much more behind the science of illusions.

Certainly was a great interview! To understand/interpret the psychology behind what occurs in our day to day lives is not given a second thought.

Apollo reminds me of my son. ADHD and my kid has a very high IQ. He's wonderful.
