Thanks for the video. My 2003 zafira was pissing out oil, traced it to valve cover. Used this video and followed it. Now leak free and doesnt stink of burning oil, two cylinders were fully coated in oil, including the plugs so it runs much better now
Thanks a lot dude, I had no idea how too change mine, but because of you I managed too change it. I did run into a bit of a trouble but I got it on, and thanks for telling how too tighten it without a torque wrench, because I don't have one.
Hi I have Vauxhall Zafira mk1 I have a oil drip coming off my bell bracket what could it be I have 2 theories either a drive shaft or a gear box seal thanks love watching you vids
Pcv valve will be front right of engine. Small pipe running out.and down. Pcv if blocked causes issues with stalling and not startng again until cold and build up of pressure weaking all seals.and forcing oil out of everywhere lol. Pcv is important and must be clear.
I'm guessing you mean you've got oil going into the spark plug hole of cylinder 4 if that is the case then it is possible you have a rocker cover gasket problem
Yep full cleanup is required before seating a new gasket into place but I would say just do your best with the spark plug hole because they can be rather tricky to clean
Not sure if it would be the correct way but I use a screwdriver wrapped in blue tissue to soak up the worst then engine degreaser and a tiny brush the style used for cleaning drinks straws and then go back to blue tissue on a screwdriver finally I blow it out with the air line or can of air to make sure theres no bits of tissue left behind waiting to fall into the engine if spark plug gets removed. But that my way but might not be the correct way
sorry to hear about that hope you've managed to get it sorted now in my opinion there is a possibility for a gasket to fail through a defect they can also fail from either being to tight or too loose.
@@TheZXGuy The flaw is rocker cover made out of plastic bud. You know Z20 engines get warm.and what doea plastic do when warm? It warps. Thats my problem. Inwill tet silicon and one more gasket. If that doesnt work il get a new rocker cover. They all leak bro trust me.

Unfortunately not I have to be looking over an engine physically to work things out in sorry.

I have oil going into cylinder 4 not losing water misfiring. Could this be my problem

@@TheZXGuy yeah that's correct. Do I have to clear the oil from the spark plug hole aswell

My son has a vxr 2008 plate and guess what. The rocker cover leaks lol.
I know mate another option you could try is a bit of gasket paste with the new gasket but I agree a vauxhall without an oil leak is a rare sight
