Hi, do you have to replace the cover also? I just had this job done at the garage but is still leaking , the reason i ask is they advised me to change both
Hi if the gasket is still leaking there is 2 options :The gasket hasn’t been fitted right :the cover has warped so will need replacing, I would take it back to who done it and get advice, if yours is the 1.6 they are notorious for burning oil 👍👍
@@everydaydaddoingsh1tdeanog821 I purchased a new rocker cover and the gasket came pre installed. Just rubbed it with some oil and installed it that way. Should I remove it again?
What size are the female torx bits
which side does the oil leak from usually in this case?
Can silicone gasket be used as well as the gasket. Juat to hold it in place and stop any potential leaks?
