Wow this was a such an emotional version of this song! What do you think? Here are all my links! linktr.ee/mrspenpal Lovely to have you watching this video today!
You will also love Geoff's cover to Shenandoah. It will tug at your heart strings as well. Geoff has a way of reaching deep down into your soul. Please do a reaction to it. Thank you so much for a beautiful reaction to Geoff.
You are amazing in your analogy of Geoff's cover. No other reactor goes into such great detail as you do. No other tractor understands it better than you do.
Please do a reaction video to Geoff's new solo cover of Folsom Prison Blues. It was written by Johnny Cash & performed by Johnny Cash but Geoff Castallucci sings it better.
Wow! What an amazing cover. You know, it seems we all focus on the highest notes that certain artists can reach. But never do we ask, how low can they go? I found myself riveted by that question as I listened to Geoff's delivery -- and he continued to drop the bottom out from under me! Absolutely unbelievable. But the biggest shock was hearing him at the end take the high road -- harmonizing with himself, no less. Simply breathtaking!
B0 is his lowest note that he can (and does) hit regularly. Which is two white keys from falling off the bass side of a piano. He likes a few steps up - an E0- a bit better. That you’ll hear more frequently. If you want to hear him hitting that B0, find VoicePlay’s cover of “Valhalla Calling”. (The song is from a video game). Geoff comes in very close to the beginning with a very low note he holds for like 15 seconds. That’s a B0. He doesn’t get much higher throughout the rest of the song either.
Hello Blessing. This song was made for Geoffs voice. I like his version, so individuell, he took a great song and made it his own. This is great art! Simply beautiful. 🔥❤🔥
Wow you always look so gererous and so beautiful on your youtube channel love it Mrs.penpal. your reaction too video is awesome thank you so much for sharing this video with us love your youtube channel so much Mrs.penpal.❤️🌹👍
I LOVE your reaction!! This is true beauty!! It's just like floating on a cloud, soothing, mellow, but controlled passion. It's like a balm for the mind and heart.
When Geoff is looking to do a cover of a song, he goes through all of the versions he can find to see what others have already done - he says why do a cover if you can't add anything new to the song? And he definitely put his stamp on this version! Geoff did a YT Short of himself sitting at the piano and singing the first verse, I guess just so you can experience it without any of the production values that have been added to the video - it's pretty amazing to hear just how good he sounds with just the piano accompaniment!
Yeah does the arrangements and videos too. Dudes amazing. One of my favorite Bass singers well other than Tim Foust from Homefree hes amazing too with 5 Octave range. Glad you enjoyed great reaction!
Watched the coronation on big screen in Hyde Park with my rain coat on Paul Simon predicted this when he sings about the cold and damp and ten thousand people maybe more.
Thanks MrsPenPal for an amazing reaction video! Suggestion some other amazing versions of The Sound of Silence. "Les Humphries Singers" with the Boney M singer Liz Mitchell (1970), "Banarama" (2009), "Sharleen Spiteri" (2010), and "Dana Winner" (2011). These are I think some of the best cover versions of this beautiful song. 🙂
He's àn great artist you can react too his name is Jackie Wilson he sings that song so awesome it's called somewhere over the rainbow I know you get alot back log of requests too react too hopefully you can get an chance too react too the song Mrs.penpal.❤️🌹👍
Will be singing bass in Skelmanthorpe Male Voice Choir today on the cricket field hope it's not raining as it was Yesterday for Charlie Three. This is likely to be our finale. Been practicing but with no score there is so much to remember. Not my cup of tea this arrangement but great song to sing though the sign shinning outs it's warning is a hard to get right.
I don't know if anyone has said anything to you. As a way to make a musical toss salad of this song, listen to it sung by Disturbed Metal band & Pentatonics Acapella group!
Hi Brent thanks! Yes, I have disturbed reaction for Sound of Silence as well as for Pentatonix. Here are the links Disturbed : ruclips.net/video/x1VkoTKTF5E/видео.html Pentatonix: ruclips.net/video/yVI8Hc4PLzo/видео.html thanks
Sorry sweetie but it’s not throat singing!! He is a bass singer who has natural range with the use of chest range and sub harmonic singing. Occasionally uses vocal fry when needed like Tim Foust.
Throat singing it’s own thing it doesn’t negate him being a bass singer or his range. Check out Mongolian throat singing or other tribal throat singing styles to get what I mean better

Lovely to have you watching this video today!
Yes, he did all the voices himself. He does in all his solo stuff. Most of them you see his clones in the video though.
It was so beautiful to see how this song touched your heart... your tears bravely kept in check (barely...smile)

Geoff has quite a few soloes and VoicePlay has over 800 videos. You react, we will be here!
Its good to know that there are others who ' feel' the music.
He really put his heart in this happy to be here
He really made some amazing choices for this arrangement! He's always enjoyable and always surprising! ❤

Nice reaction 👌
So true. It hits every time. Well done. Subtitles collide with your text.
Hi Karin subtitles only show when it’s turned on. There is a cc botton click to turn off. If yours still shows let me know
@@MrsPenPal thanks...turned it off, worked.
Yay 😍😇

Like all our efforts they just have to live on in the memory.
His basso profundo voice is gorgeous for this song. It feels like he made it more of a major scale, though. The original is very much minor.
Interesting point. Do you miss the original?
@@MrsPenPal not really. I think the arrangement works.
Thanks for your reply Cynthia great observations
basso profundo???! he's not a basso profundo, if you want to hear a true basso profundo check out eric hollaway
This was such a base (bass) presentation of this song, lol. Actually, this was great and so was your reaction! Here's to your next one! 🙏😊💜
There are a couple of versions of this song I like the Conan o Brian live version check that 1 out.
