Thank you , I just got a 2013 dart mopar and 2 of your videos have helped me get a great idea of how I want to replace and get some things working better
@@mr.b3420 yep nailed it it's a breather. Alot of people think you need to have that line recirculating but it's actually better to filter the oil and let the rest blow off into the filter. Doesn't gum up the turbo as much.
I just manually primed the oil port before hooking up the oil feed with a turkey baster. Didn't prime the water/coolant lines though. Then let it run for 30 secs, for a few intervals. Then let it run for about 2-3 mins for a couple intervals. You could disconnect fuel or even manually crank if you wanted but I figured as long as I primed the turbo with a bit of oil the system would do the rest. And purged the air out of the water side as you should anyways so made sure all the air was out of the system.

Clamp the coolant feed line with a pair of locking pliers👍🏻
I’m looking at the same job to be done to mine great info 💪🏽
Great video - I dont see the diverter BOV on the turbo housing. What did you use for a BOV?
Post a vid on how to stop a slight leak on ddct top side
I have a turbo dart question what is that little air filter??
It’s hard to tell from the video but it looks like a breather for his oil catch can.

How do you prime it the turbo
