History/Context : The Magistratum Mundanus is a roleplaying session set in the Marginalia of Warhammer 40k. Tex, an out of practice DM of Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy brushed off his very dusty skills (after a 10 year hiatus of DMing no less!) to tell a story of . . . well. . . you'll see.
The magistratum Mundanus itself is a homebrew of FFG's Dark heresy 1 and 2, along with several select modifications to small arms and explosion rules to ensure combat is faster, more lethal, and stupidity is curtailed regarding willy-nilly use of violence. Regardless of this, the team does what it does.
Further: This is non canon in the extreme, and is based largely upon what Tex remembered from his heyday of 40k lore and the fandom, and is in no way whatsoever relevant to the current world as it stands, its current lore, or should ever be judged on the accuracy thereof.
Note: This is a game among friends having fun. The audio gets better over time as we were figuring out what in the hell we were doing. Please enjoy!

@@Deadsnake989 That's what i love about this Campaign, the Characters are weirdos, but not stupid or socially inept (for the most part). Ricky is walking Munchausen Syndrome, but he's not malicious. Uriah genuinely feels most comfortable in Paperwork hell and Imperial drudgery, but he's not a dick about it. Grigglak does his best and protects the Team despite being a total fish out of Water. Victor isn't ridiculously suicidal or stupid, he's a genuinely competent soldier thrust into a LEO role. And psycher man is secretive, but not arrogant or paranoid.
The mechanicus adept casually issuing them Phosphor rounds is...I think about as close a sign of friendship as an they can give to someone outside the AdMech.
It's right up there with conveniently overlooking xenotech and turning you into a servo-skull against your will.
Colm is insane. Like literally. Actually out of his mind, his drivers are corrupted, screws loose and all. The team is lucky to have him on their side.

"GPS" in 40k would entail capturing every Taxi driver on a planet, teaching them relativity calculations and matrixes, then lobotomizing them into servitors and building them into dashboards THEN hooking them up to Massive Radar receivers so they can receive Data from Sattelites that no one knows how to maintain anymore.
I loved the last 5 so much, I went to the spotify to listen to them all. All I have to say, the two most terrifying words of the campaign are "Griglak charge." Also Ricky is my favorite table top character in any game I have ever seen, including the one's I've ran myself. Mike plays him so well, dude is truly funny AF.

I'm not usually a fan of these kinds of tabletop series for example, I couldn't really get through critical role, but I've watched every single one of the MAGISTRATUM MUNDANUS from start to finish. The combination of characters you've assembled, the banter, and of course your narration is top notch. So thanks a lot Tex + BPL looking forward to the next one!

As a DM myself, I really want Mike, Ricky's player at my table. Ricky is one of the absolute funniest people characters I have ever seen in a table top session. Although the WHOLE group is exceptional, I love them all.
