Shauntel is without a doubt one of my favorite Elite Four members of all time. I adore her room designs in both games, her love for books, her caliginous and unique design/style, and on top of that, ghost is one of my favorite types of all time. She fits the ghost type theme perfectly without going overboard with the overdone creepy vibe that many other ghost type users attempt to give off.
I agree. Her team is surprisingly well balanced and she uses some pretty cool Pokemon from Cofagrigus and Chandelure and her battle arena really fits the theme and the mood.

I'd say I like Grimsley and Caitlin the most because of their backstories. I've said before it's sweet how Caitlin's valet battled on her behalf (in Gen IV) while she was learning how to handle her powers.
Nothing beats Shauntal’s room design, I love the little scream the ghosts let out before the candles go out and the lamp jumping over behind her, it’s the cutest thing ever, and let’s not forget Shauntal herself. Wonderful creation.
I remember the rooms being the coolest thing ever in gen 5. After playing gen 4 for so long back then, and Black and White was new... the animated sprites and the camera movements... These rooms had me glued to the screen. I loved it.
One og the things in gen 5 that really shocked me was that pokemons eyes close when they sleep. I know it might not be that big of a deal to some but for me It was like a step forward along with everything else you guys mentioned.

@@AmberAmour I hope they add a challenge mode to the remakes cos if you didn't already know in gen 5 they made it so exp would be less from pokemon that are levels lower than you. Before gen 5 pokemon would give out same xp from all battles even if you are higher level. With challenge mode stuff is higher level effectively making it easier for level ups meanwhile easy mode is actually harder because mons are lower level. Challenge mode is b2 easy mode unlocked in w2
The Unova Elite Four is my personal favorite. All of them are incredibly well designed and are really cool characters. Plus, they aren’t in a preset order from weakest to strongest. They’re ALL the strongest.
Love Caitlin the most. She has a cool backstory with her apparently having destructive psychic powers when she got upset and not to mention being in the battle frontier in Gen 4.

I actually have a Drapion and Liepard in one of my Pokemon Sword, and a Krookodile in my W2 because I replayed it.

My Lucario destroyed Grimsley Flawless victory the elite four isn't hard if you have the right pokemon team and moves assembled to win it's all about Intelligence behind knowing the strengths and weakness of every pokemon battled and creating a team that is very well rounded all about versatility
SHAUNTAL ALL THE WAAAAY! I like the Elite 4 of Unova the most because they're extremely memorable, but the women in the order of Shauntal and Catlin are hands down the best Elite 4 (Yes, beating even Lorelei and Bruno)
This E4 has always been back and forth for me. Either I underprepare and they're incredibly hard, or I prepare barely more and I can pretty much sweep them. Still love them tho
Why not just level grind you're entire team way before you take on the elite 4 to level 66 and higher? Especially considering the postgame in black city has high level trainers, my entire team was level 60 when I got to the 6th gym to fight skyla..
@@xyzzy-dv6te grinding isnt boring and as I said it's not about the elite 4 it's for the postgame in black 2, the black city battle tower has a ton of high level trainers ranging from level 70 and up if you challenge that place with level 45 to 50 pokemon you will have a very hard time progressing through that place , I never have because my team at that point are always between level 75 and up

My Liepard just single handedly destroyed Shauntal and Caitlin, just one Nasty Plot and Dark Pulse spammed their entire team. I was so proud of her. Liepard is my favorite Pokemon of this generation and my favorite Pokemon overall.
Because you rushed through the game and didn't take sometime to grind levels my entire team was all level 66 and up when I fought skyla the 6th gym leader so go figure..
My team for my first Black 2 hardcore nuzlocke against these 4: Paraphina (Chandalure with shadow ball, physic and expert belt) Shifu (Mienshao with inner focus, high jump kick and wide lens) Darth Sand (Krookodile with Moxie and chesto berry) Titanius (Excadrill with sitrus berry) Robby (Crobat with roost, confuse ray and flying gem with acrobatics, loophole I found on RUclips) Entulon (Golduck with Psychic and Twistedspoon) I was planning on using Asterozoa (Starmie) instead but he died because of a critical hit from Hugh. That counters them pretty effectively except critical hits from Marshall. Starmie would have been better because it’s stronger and faster, so it could hold a focus sash against sturdy Sawk with payback. By the way, in my battle against Iris Darth Sand died because of a critical hit, ruining my planned set up, so I decided to sacrifice low health Titanius to save my team. Everyone else survived.
I gave zero fucks about them 10 years ago, 10 years after, I asked myself "How tf did I become champion w/Grimsley, Caitlin, and Marshall being harder than Shauntal? Five months later, *I'm a piece of shit for Grimsley...* *And I'm more of a wreck than he is...*
My favorite elite four from gen 5 huh, its a tie between Grimsley and Marshal, since during my first try and rematch battles they came really close to wiping out my team
@@brandonwilliams5526 there is one major problem: flygon doesn't learn earthquake via level up, and you can't get the tm until post game. Trapinch can learn earthquake at lvl 55, the same lvl flygon gets Dragon claw, meaning if you want a trapinch till the league, your flygon won't have a good Dragon move. Really your best bet is to use earth power or dig, it's what I did

Honestly all of unovas elite 4 are quite easy to beat because you can get strong mons and grind parts for covering his weaknesses. From easiest to hard? Ghost, Dark, Fight, Psychic.

Only one I didn’t really like was Caitlin. Other than that, it was awesome. Really well designed Elite 4.

My Liepard just single handedly destroyed Shauntal and Caitlin, just one Nasty Plot and Dark Pulse spammed their entire team. I was so proud of her. Liepard is my favorite Pokemon of this generation and my favorite Pokemon overall.
I always struggled with unovas elite Four and champion the most out of any pokemon game, it took me days to beat iris
Because you rushed through the game and didn't take sometime to grind levels my entire team was all level 66 and up when I fought skyla the 6th gym leader so go figure..

My team for my first Black 2 hardcore nuzlocke against these 4:
Paraphina (Chandalure with shadow ball, physic and expert belt)
Shifu (Mienshao with inner focus, high jump kick and wide lens)
Darth Sand (Krookodile with Moxie and chesto berry)
Titanius (Excadrill with sitrus berry)
Robby (Crobat with roost, confuse ray and flying gem with acrobatics, loophole I found on RUclips)
Entulon (Golduck with Psychic and Twistedspoon)
I was planning on using Asterozoa (Starmie) instead but he died because of a critical hit from Hugh.
That counters them pretty effectively except critical hits from Marshall. Starmie would have been better because it’s stronger and faster, so it could hold a focus sash against sturdy Sawk with payback.
By the way, in my battle against Iris Darth Sand died because of a critical hit, ruining my planned set up, so I decided to sacrifice low health Titanius to save my team. Everyone else survived.

My favorite elite four from gen 5 huh, its a tie between Grimsley and Marshal, since during my first try and rematch battles they came really close to wiping out my team
The unova elite 4 in the sequels have far be free coolness than the first games
Switching Pokémon out kinda ruins the experience a bit no? I like seeing how someone does when they have a type disadvantage.

B2W2 are by far the best pokemon game by design and mechanics, sadly the gen is not that good. After HGSS are the most difficult ones.
Flygon is ground/dragon, you could use earthquake stab against Chandelure

@@brandonwilliams5526 there is one major problem: flygon doesn't learn earthquake via level up, and you can't get the tm until post game. Trapinch can learn earthquake at lvl 55, the same lvl flygon gets Dragon claw, meaning if you want a trapinch till the league, your flygon won't have a good Dragon move. Really your best bet is to use earth power or dig, it's what I did

Honestly all of unovas elite 4 are quite easy to beat because you can get strong mons and grind parts for covering his weaknesses.
