This song has been inspired by my living for the last two years, which are at a small farm. The lyrics describes an ordinary summer day at the farm with all its trivialities; the feeling of coming close to nature - everyone can relax and enjoy being together.

I so understand the pull & charm of living close to nature, having spent a year virtually on the ground at Long Beach on the northwest coast living in a tent & small unheated cabin. A semi-feral dog adopted me & I experienced things that one would never find in an urban environment. Things hard to explain & somehow miraculous. Seems that one would have to go out & throw themselves upon the mercies of nature to go through the "door" into this other world. I hope & do believe that Sissel & her husband have found this entryway.

Sissel it is not a privilege to be living where you are living. You have worked very hard to get to that point in your life so has your husband worked hard to get to that point in his life so you should enjoy what you have because of your hard work I live in Canada. I’ve enjoyed my life. I did all the outdoor activities as I could and I don’t think it was a privilege. I look back and say if I didn’t work hard then I would not have known about how peaceful it is in the wilderness, so don’t feel bad about what you have or that you have to apologize for what you have and what people don’t have
Sissel speaks better and more correct English than many English people.
