Add to this the superb sax which nearly adds further tears, and then the final angelic voice brings home the despair of the loss of one's love! Wow!!
I just discovered Sissel 2 hours ago! She is a stunning singer/performer. I don't know why I didn't know of her. Just checked and she fills up an entire page of listings on Spotify! So many decades to catch up with and looking forward to every moment of it. What a wonderful holiday gift she is!

Your voice, your choice of songs, your unique beauty Is a treasure to each of us. I don’t know why I am so late to the ball. How have I not heard of Sissel until now? I can just relish the Sight and sounds of this magical vocalist. When I was a child, over eighty years ago, I was blessed with a soprano voice with a measure of clarity. Long before she was "discovered" as the soloist in "Titanic". She has never, nor will she ever, sing what you refer to as "trash", although she has done beautiful cover versions of hits from modern pop singers and groups such as ABBA, Rod Stewart, Maryanne Faithful, Louis Armstrong, Andy Gibb, and many others that may surprise you. Her repertoire and catalog of performances is long and varied, from baroque and Mister Mozart to Debussy's gorgeous operatic arias to '30s and '40s jazz standards to contemporary '50s to the 2000s "pop". And every song or aria that she sings turns to pure gold, my opinion. But I have a strong feeling that if you knew anything at all about this wonderful woman and soprano, that I would not have had to write this reply. Too bad for you. I believe that a lot of research, and a lot of listening, is in order for you.
