I tried it on my hair and tadaaa it worked I used only Vaseline and water ,first I spray water on my hair and comb it and apply Vaseline and comb again and put it in a mini twist and turns out to be Great

Good attempt. It's been said by others in the comment section. You may need to be quite damp then more petroleum jelly water and finger coil/twist each strand. 4c has dense coils, it's not type 3 hair

I tried this on my hair and it didn't work. My hair was soaking wet and I used a lot of Vaseline. I thought I actually had a problem coz in the other videos it worked perfectly. But now that I think about it, I realize that I have very stubborn (hard) 4c hair and my curls are very very tight. We're all different. Not everything works for everyone. Thanks for being honest.

I have stubborn 4c hair so I know it wouldn’t work on my hair I can’t my hair to define at all that’s why I just keep it in braids i love my natural just don’t know how to style it

Vaseline doesn't clog pores, doesn't mean you shouldn't use a lot either
This is because you actually have 4c hair!! Most of the videos out there they don’t have 4c hair. They have very thick 4b hair and when it’s dry it may seem like 4c but it isn’t. You ma’am have hair like myself which is 4c and we have to use products like gelly and gel

I used to used Vaseline to slick my ponytails down and my hair would be wavy but I think I have a loose curl pattern than you.

Hey I know I’m late but I believe it didn’t work because your hair is supposed to be wet and you need to use a little more product. I notice many people use spray bottles to spray before and during the process

Mybe it becouse you are applying little Vaseline. That why it not working. You must to buy the big Vaseline so that u can take a big scoop and apply it on ur hair u will seeit going to work.

You are using very small portions of Vaseline try using more portions of Vaseline and really get that hair soaked in Vaseline

Some people IT dont work out n I always know why with 4c hair IT needs to be wet and u do need to put good amount of Grease all the videos I seen where IT dont work they aint use enough water or Grease and if your hear is thick give IT a few days your hair Will suck that Grease up trust me my hair is súper thick n days after using Grease my hair is shiny not greasy

Vaseline is not good for your hair neither your skin. It dries it out. Try the yellow African Shea Butter 😁 Works like a charm, even on parts that seams impossible to curl. Working the Shea Butter in the hair gives it best results. Shalom!!!
I have to disagree with you, everybody is different, I have a very dry skin and also my hair; and I have tried different types of lotion for my skin even coconut oil didn't do anything, as well for my hair, and finally I have found that Vaseline brings awesome results. So yeah, Vaseline is Amazing, but not for everyone, unfortunately. Cheers
