Bit strange but my name is Dave and I used to work in Romford. I used to work for the council and back in 2011 my last job was to work with all the relevant departments to clear out lots of the old council to make way for flats. Found lots of really interesting things like a pair of Opel mantas (one had two mummified cats on the back seat) lots of old escorts and a few capris. There was one garage that had been done out in wood panelling from a stately home and had a full library and a big leather seat. On the creepy side we Found more dirty mags than you could shake a dirty stick at and a homemade alcohol home brew set up and a pile of shitty pants
So many lessons to be learned watching this video. I understand it's not always feasible but please don't abandon your cars. Start them when you can, if you can't drive them then at least let them warm through, keep on top of the fluids and give them a wash if you have time. These things are so precious, if they weren't we wouldn't keep them. So please everyone, look after them 👍.
My wife still has her first car; an N-Reg Peugeot 306 XN that she bought when she was 18.... in 2006. She still dailies it and it's now just about to hit 200k miles. It's utterly joyous to drive.
I still have one. You could really thrash them but with manual steering and soft springs, corners were a bit more challenging than a 205 GTI. Great cars.
I still have my first car, had it at least 35+ years, a Renault 5 Gordini Turbo in Silver, it doesn't run currently although i did manage to start last year, just no spark currently, it's in fairly good condition Cheers
Especially now with the new release of the electric 5, that would be a great trip down memory lane! Maybe Jonny can rent the new 5 just to celebrate that lovely car!
Oh my God. I had a 5 Gordini too, non turbo in silver. Amazing bright orange interior. Jaeger orange dials. A whole 98hp wheels like sci-fi reel to reel tapes. So cool. Wish I still had it 😪
Not my first car but still got my 1984 Capri 2.8 Injection which I bought late 1987. Now owned by myself 37+ years , it’s running, in good condition , on the road and used regularly for shows and weekends. Really enjoyed the 205 video, thanks.
Still have my 1972 Toyota Celica. My Grandmother bought it brand new in Adelaide, Australia. It hasn’t been on the road for 25yrs but I’m slowly restoring it.
Still have a Daf 46 who has been in the family for many years ..i started it after 32 years of non running . cleaned the contactpoints and it ran on the fuel of 32 years ago .. How wonderful is that !
I still own, and am having my late dad's 1973 Austin 1300 GT fully restored by a retired gentleman in his 80s. It was the first car my late father bought, after emigrating here from Ireland in 1980. It was used to take him to work at British Leyland plants at Canley and Longbridge, until it was mothballed at 12 years old in 1985. It then sat in garages at various houses for 38 years, until in 2023, I finally decided to get it done. Should make its return to the road after a 40 year absence this summer!
We all get disappointed when you don't get them started but for some reason that was less so for me this week. It was a great video and a great barn find. Thank you Jonny!
Still got my first car, 1993 lada samara 'flyte' limited edition. My father bought it brand new and I drove it as first car until he bought me a ford fiesta. Just got the lada back on the road the last couple years, Welcome to come and look, rare car now
Awesome! I grew up in the back of one of these, a lovely red colour. I have many, many memories of dodgy looking Russian fella's approaching my dad in random car parks across the country and offering very good money to buy it on the spot. Happened regularly. Apparently these were extremely common cars in the motherland and they began to struggle for parts, so it was very profitable for a Russian to pay above market value in the UK and take it home to strip down.
I’ve still got a Kona Cinder Cone I bought in the early 90’s too. Can’t beat a bit of hoarding. I’ve never owned a Pug GTI but remember my mate buying a 1.9 GTI in red brand new in 89 and bringing it round to show me. He let me drive it to Stafford and back on the proviso that I didn’t take it over 3000 rpm. What a car they were.
Hi Jonny, I mentioned this to you a while back. Still got my first car, a 1983 Mini in black. Started out as a 998cc City, bought for my 18th in 1995 and restored in 1997 so 30 years of ownership. It’s currently away following a 10 year layup. It was repainted in December (no rust to deal with as it was dry stored 😁) but the engine/gearbox build is the bit that’s taking a while. It’ll be on its 6th engine, but this one will probably outlive me (not cheap, but will be worth it!). Had my photo taken with you at the London Concourse after the live show - I was the guy that told you about the Tom ‘Wookie’ Ford stag do incident 😉
I had one of these in the mid 90s. Same year, same engine, same colour! When I sold it, it was just a second hand car. This was the first car I bought with my heart and not my head. I loved it.
I borrowed a mates 205 to get home from a meet last year when I snapped a drive shaft, awesome car. I live in Australia and have my first car. A 76 mini clubman. I’ve owned it since 1998, it’s bounced from garage to garage. Mechanically I’ve rebuilt it in recent years, the body is solid it just needs paint. I still drive it like I’m 16 and bloody love it.
Cracking car. 2 of my best mates had 205 GTi pugs. They both drove them like they stole them. Irresistible things. Damn they had the looks to match too. So balanced and well proportioned that car. Nice one TLBS
Wow, brings back great memories. I had a flashback recollection of reg number whilst watching…. G637 PBW. Unbelievably the car is still on the road today. Great to see!
I still have my MG B GT a 1972 blaze orange car had the it when I was 18. Owned it for 22 years. Fully restored in 2006 and still looks clean. Met the original owner and traced a lot of its past and has the original service book wall the way back to its PDI inspection. Sadly only covered around 10 miles last year seeing this makes me want to use it more. Memories come back so strongly when I see it.
I still have my first car, it's a Mk 3 😋 MG Midget. I bought it when I was 18 in 1998. Most of my mates had Nova's or Astra's at the time, but I always liked the older classic cars. I took it off the road around 2002 to start a restoration....23 years later, it's nearly finished 😂
I still have my first car: Lada 2105. In Hungary - as a post-Soviet country - it was cheap enough in 2004 to buy a used one as a young guy. Now it is in a bad condition waiting for a resurrection. After a few years of marriage my wife wanted a car just for fun: we bought a Peugeot 205 for her.☺️ It has 1,4 engine and is light blue inside and outside. Made in '89.
My first car was a 205 1.4 XS, bought from an auction at Carlisle absolutely loved it..passed my test on a Wednesday then drove to Germany on the Saturday ..GOOD TIMES 😊😊
I got my driver’s license back in Texas at 16 and my first car was a C3 Corvette Stingray. 30 years later, I’m living in Finland, but the Corvette also eventually found it’s way across the pond, and is now in my barn waiting for a restoration.
I still have my 1st car, 1981 Triumph TR7 drop head, bought in 1989 when I was 16. Currently in my garage completed stripped as I do a nut and bolt rebuild. I know people dont like the TR7 but it was my dream car as a 70's kid, and I still love it 🙂👍
Drove a TR8 dhc it was absolutely wicked owned a TR6 with O/D sadly never ran then had a 944 and a 964 project cars are OK but you need a car you can drive it keeps you motivated
My mum and dad’s stag started to over heat. I got back from work and they had part exchanged it for a Java green automatic TR7. To say I was upset would be an understatement. Good luck bro
Bought my first car 4 months ago. An ‘88 300CE W124 and it came with under 90k miles. I absolutely love it even though she’s not perfect. OG Borbet alloys and red pin stripes down the side. It was last on the road in 2004 and I can’t wait to give it some life again.
Morris Minor Traveller owned 45 years, bought it off my aunt at 11 years old, she had it from new. Learnt to drive in it and took my test in it. Never been off the road long term, stored over winter months
Great barn find! I still have my first car - a '72 Beetle 1300, which I bought at VW Action in Peterborough on 9th September 2001. Since then, it's had a new 1600 engine and loads of other work, its been used as our wedding car, and a friend's wedding car, and a couple of years ago it was treated to a bare metal respray. Will never sell it - too many memories and too much fun to be had still!
Still got my first bought car, mr2 turbo, had it 21 years, will never ever sell it, but I haven't used it in a few years. I go and see it EVERY day without fail, just to make sure it's OK.
205 GTI = One of my dream cars when I was very young driver. I ended up buying a green 3-door Simca 1100 TI , dont ask why. I do hope that this 205 GTI will relive and get on the road again
I still have my first car . Bought it new from Renault in 2004 Nautical blue Clio Dynamique 1.2 16v . Stoped using it 6 years ago for a family car . Hoping to get it going again soon . 91k of happy miles in that Bad Boy !
Love it, had 2 of them including a 1.9 in 2008 which I bought for £892 off Ebay and restored to excellent condition. I kept it 2 years and sold it which is my biggest motoring regret!
Well this has taken me back to my 1.6 gti , wow amazing both . Also clearly I ventured to the 1.9 gti Peugeot also . .. glad I still have something tucked away in lockup Ford 🏁😉thanks for this filming taken me back and made me smile😊😊 get this back on the road , spend the money even if takes a while 👍
VW golf MK1 mars red A reg with GTi kit. Man I wish had kept my first car. I worshipped that thing and the body work was in excellent condition. Just too many miles on the clock. It got sacrificed to a more reliable, dare I say it, Vauxhall Astra, what was I thinking!!! I'm 50 now and still want my first car back 😅😅 Great barn find those tapes and the parcel shelf speakers with DIY wiring, I having such nostalgia vibes! Great video thanks 👍
I still have my first car! A 1993 BMW E36 318i. I got it on my 18th birthday and daily drove it for 1 and a half years. Then I got a Toyota Avensis T22 as a new daily driver and the E36 became the summer classic car. I'm 21 now so not a long term ownership yet. Greetings from Germany
I had one of these fantastic cars in the late eighties,I hammered it and hammered it it never gave up.Once went past the boys in blue at 100 plus ,they just put the blues on to slow me down.
Whoa! I've got '94 Cinder Cone too. I also had the use of a white 205 GTI for a few months when my best mate was working abroad in about '96. Anyway, back to the barn find...
Admittedly, I've not had it as long as some of the others here, but I still have my first car a 2.0s Mk3 Capri that I got off eBay of all places when I was student. I'd always promised myself I'd restore it to it's former glory and in the last few months I've finally found myself in a position to be able to do it!
Clearly remember seeing my first 205, i was 14 and we lads just walked around it for maybe 15 minutes "OOO-ING and AAA-ing"...gorgeous looking car, and for me Peugeots best ever.
Fond fond memories of Pug 205’s. Timeless design still continue to look amazing on the road today, not that I see many at all about these days. One of the main reasons that I enjoy trips to France is seeing more 80’s and 90’s cars being driven around. 🎶 I’m gonna fix that pug that’s what I’m gonna do, I’m gonna fix that pug that’s what I’m gonna do..
Not my first car but 2nd car from when I was 18. A little Mini with a 1275 MG Metro engine. Sold it when I was 19 and bought it back 13 years later. Currently in the garage having a full restoration. It has featured on your segment you did during lockdown of what people have in their garages. Love the 205, rallied one for years so have a real soft spot for them. Bloody rats and mice.
@RichardHarrold1991oh pipe down Rich and enjoy your free content you sleeve! This ain’t a charity and someone’s gotta pay or we don’t get what is some of the best collection of automotive journalism on offer…this channel is a gem for car nerds!
Cracking Pug! Get it stripped… everything off and engine out… it wont be a quick fix… and build it up as you get the time and money. Its value nowadays makes it totally worth it! Great episode. Hope it sees the sun and roads soon!
Those rims are gorgeous. The Kona is nice too. There's definitely a retro MTB community out there that loves bikes from that period. That one looks like it's in good shape cosmetically, with original parts.
Drove a white 1986 1.6 205gti around Europe many many years ago.. If my memory serves me correctly, I paid around £150 for a full front to back Ansa exhaust system with twin tail pipes.. Why did I ever sell it.... Wonderful car..wonderful memories... Thank you...
We don’t realise at the time that we’re living the good old days… there’s something intoxicating about nostalgia and a time when we were young and invincible.
Great video, Johnny! I do still have my first car, an Alfa Romeo 155 1.8ts. Bought it in 2003, used it as my daily for 4 years and ever since as my hobby/2nd car. It's currently undergoing a minor restoration to make it bright and shiny again.
I’ve had my 205gti since 2001…. Does about 500miles a year now! 😊 this one looks good, not much rust, original air box, i spotted the magnex back box too period mod! Lots of the specialist parts for these are being remade again by Peugeot. Should be a straight forward recommissioning. Gear knobs are available. That cassette deck is gold dust. Give it the love, two companies spring to mind.
I still have my first car, my MG Midget bought in 1997. It had a full resto/mod in 2003 and has been off the road for many years now. I emailed you about it before, Jonny, but think I sent the email to an old Car Perv email... I'll re-send the email to your current email address in case you want to do a wee barn find on my wee pride & joy! Loving the 205 GTI. Insurance must've been pricey for David!
Never thought or could imagine you could still get the 1.6 in 1990 😳 My first car was an black 309Gti -8v -1990 in mind condition and i almost everyday drove it like i had stole it and it never broke down on me. But i hope this get back to it's glory soon with an detail and an BIG service done before it get it's MoT done and then it's ready to tear away the roads again! Great video
I miss all my early car 90s peugeots. So much so i went down the rabbit hole of buying the cars i had/wanted back in the day again. I now have a french car problem according to the mrs. Nostalgia is dangerous. Love the vid
Love watching these garage find videos. Expecialy if the car has one owner. In our family we still have my "first" car - Zastava 101 (you dont have these in UK) - that was given to me from my late grandfather. Its now more than 40 years old and it waiting for my oldest daughter starting to learn how to drive on our farm - the car isnt registered anymore but we keep it in the working conditions. Its driven at least once a month so we keep it drivable condition. That car will never be sold and will be in our family for how long we could keep it working. Hello from Slovenija 🇸🇮
Hi Johnny I have a Works pressure washer for about ten years now. Although I also now have a mains unit as well. If you want "supercharge " the cordless washer, simply plug it direct to the tap. I bought mine when I didn't have access to a tap close to my garage, but now I do. And its a lot less of a faff than constantly filling a bucket. Better still if the tap has a strong flow.
Jonny with these old cars aswell be very very careful as the timing belt could be extremely brittle and it resulting as you know in major engine damage when it should be replaced along with tensioners idle wheels and waterpump etc before any starting up the engine.
Romford of all places! Not being born and bred there, He didn't total it at Oldchurch roundabout on lose it on the brewery straight. :) I managed to escape Romford in 1992, just after peak hot-hatch 80's race track time.
I have great memories of driving around Romford with the roof down in my mates Triumph Stag, with a gentle burble from his engine swapped rover V8 when the Brewery was still a Brewery! Nice vid Johnny perhaps this one will be worth re-visiting next year. Let’s hope it’s only wiring and a bit of TLC in the engine bay that’s required, to bring this Essex boy gem back to life!
My first car (Escort 1.3) I rolled through a hedge after 7 days! My second car (Alfa Sud Ti) I smashed into a wall and wrote it off after 3 months! Touch wood have been OK since. I had a 1.6 GTi and a 1.9 GTi 205 and have very fond memories of them and the fun I had in them. No speed cameras back then of course! Cheers
The Peugeot 205 GTI was my second car I've owned, a car seducing one to drive in a quite suicidal manner... LOVED it and honestly wished I've would have kept it! 🙌🏻 Great episode again! 👏🏻
Got the 1963 Volvo 121 Amazon my grandad gave me, as a 15 year old in 1986. Restored it and later used it for a while, traded it away for a 1977 Ford LTD 2 wagon, many years later it appeared locally and a few years after that I got to buy it back! The things I did to it in the 80's is still nice and the car looks better than when I had it first! I use it quite a lot in the summer!
Some of the obvious missing bits - the bumper inserts, disintegrating gearknob etc are readily available again now as new parts from Peugeot Classic. I do hope this car gets fully restored and recommissioned and that you can revisit it when it does. Great episode Jonny, cheers.
205 GTI I was absolutely in love with the Peugeot Dimma. I did manage to buy a 306 GTI 2.0 16v in gold with 17 inch alloys. 💛 That car!!! Even found a old episode of top gear with my car in it. 14 yes first posted Wow

At some point i hope we have a “Barn finds revisited “ Would love to see if any of the cars have been restored to their former glory .
Please do.
That’s the biggest thing missing on this channel.
100% wouldn't this be fantastic 😊
This is a cracking shout, what happened next, bit like grand designs revisited
Yes they have to! Plus they'd double their content output, everyone wins
Lovely 205 and all the paperwork, mountain bike and mobile phone. It was like opening an old time machine.
It really was, right?

He probably kept it in 2002 because the trade in offer was probably 100 quid. At that time, these were at the very bottom of their value.

My second car was a Gordini turbo too. My friends described it as a turbo charged roller skate.
The cobwebs and leaves on the hat got me 😂😂

The original Celica lady?
Still have a Daf 46 who has been in the family for many years ..i started it after 32 years of non running . cleaned the contactpoints and it ran on the fuel of 32 years ago .. How wonderful is that !
Is that the belt driven one?
@ Yess it is !
That is one disgusting but solid car from the looks of it.... Really hope this gets the love it deserves!

We all get disappointed when you don't get them started but for some reason that was less so for me this week. It was a great video and a great barn find. Thank you Jonny!
Thank you so much for enjoying it. Glad you appreciated the backstory..
Brought my 1.9 GTI in 1996, my second car - this is bringing back so many memories!
I remember my auntie buying a brand new 1.6 on a C reg, a red one.
In 2005 I bought, for £600 a silver 1.9 no sunroof model. It went like stink
Still got my first car, 1993 lada samara 'flyte' limited edition. My father bought it brand new and I drove it as first car until he bought me a ford fiesta. Just got the lada back on the road the last couple years, Welcome to come and look, rare car now
Is that the one in Plympton?
@connor_haughey8377 you got it bud. 3 left of my model, mine is only one taxed, insured and motd on the road. Rare car
@Martinjp147 I've drove past it a couple times, always great to see. A proper gem, that's for sure!
@connor_haughey8377 yeah sure is, needs a bit of paint now but I'll get around to that later, had it 32 years now so no rush lol

I still have my 1st car, 1981 Triumph TR7 drop head, bought in 1989 when I was 16. Currently in my garage completed stripped as I do a nut and bolt rebuild. I know people dont like the TR7 but it was my dream car as a 70's kid, and I still love it 🙂👍
What will you put under the bonnet? The original motor?
@@herbertwilliams1608 I have a 3.5litre Rover V8 engine to go in it to liven things up a little 😂
Drove a TR8 dhc it was absolutely wicked owned a TR6 with O/D sadly never ran then had a 944 and a 964 project cars are OK but you need a car you can drive it keeps you motivated
Bought it new from Renault in 2004
Nautical blue Clio Dynamique 1.2 16v .
Brilliant video. My first company car in 1987 was an E reg white 205 Cti. It was the most fun car to drive I’ve ever had.
You had a convertible for a company car 😮
Well this has taken me back to my 1.6 gti , wow amazing both . Also clearly I ventured to the 1.9 gti Peugeot also . .. glad I still have something tucked away in lockup Ford 🏁😉thanks for this filming taken me back and made me smile😊😊 get this back on the road , spend the money even if takes a while 👍
I still have it! My 1983 Autobianchi A112 LX. Was from my dad, was my first car, and now 20 years later, she is 42, and is better than ever❤
In the UK? That's not a car you see very often
@@TheLateBrakeShow in Barcelona, Spain, and yeah, is a very usual little rocket here as well
Bought my Red '88 1.9 gti when it was just 2 yrs old, it was a company car from Elizabeth Arden. And I still have it.
Love this and shes not come up to bad tbf. We definitely need a revisit when the works all been done and do a drive in the car.
I'm 50 now and still want my first car back 😅😅
Great barn find those tapes and the parcel shelf speakers with DIY wiring, I having such nostalgia vibes!

Do you need glasses?👓
I had one of these fantastic cars in the late eighties,I hammered it and hammered it it never gave up.Once went past the boys in blue at 100 plus ,they just put the blues on to slow me down.
Whoa! I've got '94 Cinder Cone too. I also had the use of a white 205 GTI for a few months when my best mate was working abroad in about '96. Anyway, back to the barn find...
Love that you love Verve and not Oasis. Class.
Great work Jonny, back to what you do best! 😆
Wow.. I have so may memory's from this, as I owed 4 of these cars back in the day and I also haved one of those moto wings. Thank you .
A 205 gti and a cinder cone. Both of which I used to own. I ride a ‘99 specialized rockhopper even today
oh yes!
The 1990’s want that time zone spanning stem back…..
ive still got my first kona! 1989 lava dome :)
I still have my 98 specialized stumpjumper M2
@ oh that’s great. I love a retro mountain bike. I am looking for an orange clockwork from the same era.
The body looks really honest and straight👍🏻
Love the greatness of 80's and 90's cars! I still have my 1990 Pontiac ASC/McLaren Turbo Grand Prix. I'm slowly getting it back into shape!
Wow, that's a rare car
Admittedly, I've not had it as long as some of the others here, but I still have my first car a 2.0s Mk3 Capri that I got off eBay of all places when I was student. I'd always promised myself I'd restore it to it's former glory and in the last few months I've finally found myself in a position to be able to do it!
Rat in the kitchen is the best UB40 album. Great groove for the vid, if it gets stuck in my head, thats fine. Thanks for all the entertainment🤟🏾🤘🏻🖖🏾
A classic album along with Labour of Love Part One.
Clearly remember seeing my first 205, i was 14 and we lads just walked around it for maybe 15 minutes "OOO-ING and AAA-ing"...gorgeous looking car, and for me Peugeots best ever.
Funny how he says MK rather than mark 😅
😂I've honestly never heard anyone else ever say that
That was annoying me! 😂
Yep, so annoying 😆
That's how you know when someone's bluffing about their knowledge of cars.
Said the same before reading the comments. It's a pet peeve.
I had 2 205 GTI 1.6 ….one White, one Red … Fabulous cars
Fond fond memories of Pug 205’s. Timeless design still continue to look amazing on the road today, not that I see many at all about these days. One of the main reasons that I enjoy trips to France is seeing more 80’s and 90’s cars being driven around.
🎶
I’m gonna fix that pug that’s what I’m gonna do, I’m gonna fix that pug that’s what I’m gonna do..
Had one and it was the best car I've driven especially in the wet, just brilliant.
That beauty absolutely needs to be back on the road!
Back on form this week, Jonny! Thank you!
Yer no Chinese Hybrid advertising shit thank god .
@Damien-bi6ng I'm sure people just him over to Tidy the up their garage somtimes..

Cracking Pug! Get it stripped… everything off and engine out… it wont be a quick fix… and build it up as you get the time and money. Its value nowadays makes it totally worth it! Great episode. Hope it sees the sun and roads soon!
Please do an episode after he fixes her up. Also we need a pic of Dave and the car back in the day.
Those rims are gorgeous.
The Kona is nice too. There's definitely a retro MTB community out there that loves bikes from that period. That one looks like it's in good shape cosmetically, with original parts.
Funny he mentioned Homebase as I went there today to buy some sanding belts for sorting out thr bodywork on my 205 GTi.
Cinder cone is a real gem
Great video, Johnny! I do still have my first car, an Alfa Romeo 155 1.8ts. Bought it in 2003, used it as my daily for 4 years and ever since as my hobby/2nd car. It's currently undergoing a minor restoration to make it bright and shiny again.
Another great car uncovered ❤
Loving the car and the cassettes too.
Yoko A539's the perfect combo for any Pug GTi !!!!
Were tyres really that cheap then? seems incredible to get 4x Yokohama's fitted for £175
Never thought or could imagine you could still get the 1.6 in 1990 😳 My first car was an black 309Gti -8v -1990 in mind condition and i almost everyday drove it like i had stole it and it never broke down on me.

@@TheLateBrakeShow its so bad its probably medical lol
Please do a follow up video when it’s running or back on the road 😊
That backing track is verging on Robert Palmer spec reggae Johnny 😂
THANKS
Love watching these garage find videos. Expecialy if the car has one owner. In our family we still have my "first" car - Zastava 101 (you dont have these in UK) - that was given to me from my late grandfather. Its now more than 40 years old and it waiting for my oldest daughter starting to learn how to drive on our farm - the car isnt registered anymore but we keep it in the working conditions. Its driven at least once a month so we keep it drivable condition. That car will never be sold and will be in our family for how long we could keep it working.
Hello from Slovenija 🇸🇮
I still have my classic mini 1989 had it since 2006
Hi Johnny I have a Works pressure washer for about ten years now.
What a nice chap one of my favourite videos you've done!
Romford of all places!
Not being born and bred there, He didn't total it at Oldchurch roundabout on lose it on the brewery straight. :)
I managed to escape Romford in 1992, just after peak hot-hatch 80's race track time.
@@runningon-dinosaurs1569 I can remember the smell of that brewery when driving past.
Cheers
0:17 dave from Essex.... It's deffo gonna be a white XR2?!!!
Always love seeing people that hang onto their first cars! I still have my Volvo C70 Coupe, bought in 2007 and still drive it as frequently as I can.
I had an emkay III !
The Peugeot 205 GTI was my second car I've owned, a car seducing one to drive in a quite suicidal manner... LOVED it and honestly wished I've would have kept it! 🙌🏻
Great episode again! 👏🏻
My F150 tow rig needs Jonny's guerrilla detailing sponsored by Nielsen...😂 Very algal..
Maybe get someone to 3D print the gear knob.
@@davidmarden4789 Replacement gear knobs are available, but the gear pattern indicator from the top needs saving to put in a new knob.
Dave from Romford... You can tell he's not a native though, otherwise it would have been a Ford in that garage!
not really, im a native romford person and i had renaults, peugeots and fords back in the 90s, all hot hatches
Some of the obvious missing bits - the bumper inserts, disintegrating gearknob etc are readily available again now as new parts from Peugeot Classic. I do hope this car gets fully restored and recommissioned and that you can revisit it when it does. Great episode Jonny, cheers.
Imagine if this car had been stored in a Permabag. It would be pristine. No rats, no corrosion. Disclaimer: I am just a happy Permabag customer.
Unless they make permabags of chain mail...there would be rats.
205 GTI I was absolutely in love with the Peugeot Dimma. I did manage to buy a 306 GTI 2.0 16v in gold with 17 inch alloys. 💛 That car!!! Even found a old episode of top gear with my car in it. 14 yes first posted Wow
