You keep referring to Led Zeppelin as 'this guy'. It's a band of 4 guys. The lead singer is Robert Plant. They did learn to improvise a lot on stage. The drummer and bass player could follow whatever Page was doing and Robert could follow Page too and vocalise to fill gaps in the lyrics. Their live performances would vary from night to night and they enjoyed doing that.
Like seriously I don’t know why I always call them guy, but I was actually referring to 1 person in the group which is the led singer Robert plant
Robert Plant is the lead singer. Jimmy Page on guitar, John Paul Jones keys and bass and John Bonham on drums!

The title of this song came about because a black dog that kept showing up at an estate that the band leased.
Blues- decibilised into Blues Rock, by the best in the business. Nice going, loveth- excellent choice. Perfect reaction from a young woman- it would make Robert proud. btw Robert is still oerforming at 73 and still has the charisma he had back then, see Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters- Carry Fire, and if you like that, Little Maggie (both 2017).

I just watched your Dire Straits reaction, your life will not be complete until you see Pink Floyd Pulse concert " Comfortably Numb " and "One of these days " , only then can you undertand why the guitar was ever built .I have played guitar for over 50 yrs and Dire Straits and Pink Floyd are the winners ! You are on to something, follow that lead ! I love a younger generation is discovering great music ! We took it for granted that it would never end , unfortunately it did . This is a great song , but dont react to live versions. In a concert they dont sound as good as studio and they are trying to hurry and get through the set by a certain time.
