Have a look at them 40 years on at the Kennedy Centre with the Obamas and others, watching Heart paying tribute to them by playing Stairway to Heaven. John Bonham (drummer) died early 1980s, and Led Zepplin immediately stopped as a group. His son plays drums on the tribute. John used to wear a bowler hat - you'll see the significance if you watch it. It's really fantastic, and the old Zepplin guys are clearly moved.

You do realize that the singer you just watched.....The Golden God of Rock....is Robert Plant, the same man who sang Sea of Love that you reacted to? One was 1973, the other was, I believe 1982....and was his first big hit of his solo career after Zeppelin disbanded in 1980 after the Drummer, John Bonham died in his sleep from alcohol binging. A tragedy for his family, and his band mates, especially Robert, as they were best mates. And a huge loss for the fans and the world of rock.
