      Glad you liked the review - and no - I made that mounting bracket. It has multiple holes for mounting different cameras. The Duo is mounted there now... ruclips.net/video/KzUWUvgLmvI/видео.html

    Hey, can these Reolink cameras work with the Reolink App on a mac or PC without using a NVR and use another source eg External HDD to record the video?
    I dont want to use the micro SD card on the camera. I'd rather use a external hdd

    • @overclockersclub

      It is not PoE. It requires a dedicated power adapter. And of course you still need an Ethernet cable.

    @StephanTousgaard 2 года назад +1

    If you have the Reolink NVR and youre not able to attach the E1 Pro with the NVR, then it does still needs an SD-card to record the video and storage it on the card. But your're able to view it from the NVR. Correct?

    • @overclockersclub
      @overclockersclub  2 года назад +1

      Yes - it does connect to my Reolink NVR and yes, if you run it without connecting to the NVR, it will need an SD card to store video.

    • @StephanTousgaard
      @StephanTousgaard 2 года назад

      @@overclockersclub I dont have reolink yet. Whats the benefits with viewing/having it on the NVR? I'm also planning buying this set from Reolink: RLK8-820D4-A to support the 4 corners of the house.

    • @overclockersclub
      @overclockersclub  2 года назад +1

      @@StephanTousgaard depending on how you have the camera set up for motion detection sensitivity, not all motion events will trigger a recording (to the SD card), but if the feed goes to the NVR, you will always be able to go back and review the video.

    I have some news like others from Reolink. I'm having problems with this model only. It has an absurd delay and I'm not using wifi, it's connected directly to the intelbras nvd, I've tried to connect it to a switch and then nvd. As the day goes on, the delay will increase. After they come back without delay I can't figure out the problem. Anything going through this?

    • @Pro1er

      I've had the same problem with several Reolink cameras. I currently have two Reolink TrackMix cameras that have a problem with lagging. I have them both set to reboot every night to re-sync the time but by then they are each about 15 seconds behind the actual time.

    I've had an E1 Outdoor for about a month. I had to download an older firmware version to get auto tracking. It seems they took this feature out of the new firmware. Maybe to improve it. It works okay horizontally but sometimes will not go back to it's preset postition after it follows someone across my sidewalk. Also the night vision is not that good. Maybe they'll improve this with update. Otherwise the camera works fine and I like it.

    I have this camera and tracking is not quite right. It returns to different home points depending on travel direction - sort of makes the privacy black spot redundant without oversizing the area. (this was a feature I wanted but cant use) The pan motor is loud on the audio, more than what it is here on this review. Quite like the product despite this.

      Mine has been outside all summer and I have not had any issues. Even though it is made for outdoor use, the less water it is exposed to, the better of course. Mine can get wet but the roof overhangs a little bit so if you can mount it where it is protected, that certainly won’t hurt.

    I emailed Reolink yesterday about the availability and they said end of August and they also said they cancel the Auto-tracking feature. This is a bummer to me since I really liked that feature. maybe they will bring it back. I guess if you have one that can auto track I wouldn't upgrade the firmware. You might lose that feature.

    • @overclockersclub

      @@overclockersclub I got a Reolink E1 Outdoor a few days ago. It did not have auto tracking. I used the client program to update the firmware and I now have auto tracking. Don't know what Reolink plans to do with auto tracking. Some testers were saying the auto tracking did not work well. Maybe Reolink is working on it to release a better firmware version in the future. My auto track works good horizontally, following someone walk across my sidewalk right/left, left right. But it cannot track vertically. The camera looses a person walking straight toward or away from the camera. Other than that I like this camera. Well worth the price. Reolink is releasing the 823A. I don't know if it has auto tracking horizontal and vertical like some other brands PTZs.
