- I will be setting these batteries up as a 60ah 96V battery. This is a quick run down how the batteries will be built. Also you want to make sure these batteries are stored at 3.8V per cell. If you have any question please let me know! Hopefully I will get my battery plates so I can show you my battery configuration. Thanks for watching!
Hi, I’ve use these for 3 different vehicles now. I bought a pallet of the 36v180ah modules that go into the Chevy bolt,
I’ve done it very similar to how you are. I would say no need for the extra 4 bolts you mentioned 2 is good. I have used on my dirt bike that carbon conductive grease that every one seems to use, but I’m seeing some major voltage sag, but I am drawing about 40kw and my rear wheel is at 600nm tq. Let me know if you notice bad sag on these. I have a feeling it’s just the internal resistance of these cells. I also use rc lip0os and design a 21s pack and get barely any voltage sag...
Thanks for your help!
Aren't those casings specifically designed for proper compression?
Great!!! I will appreciate if you could tell me where to get those from. Currently in the middle of my EV supermoto build. This cells look great in all aspects!
I bought these batteries from batteryhookup.com/ when they were available. Although right now they are not selling them anymore. If you still would like these types of batteries I would search in alibaba.com
Yes!
Is it possible to return the battery from 4.0v to 3.7
Yes, if you have a smart charger you either discharge the battery to the specific voltage you want or use the charger to store your batteries which is around 3.85V.
Where u get these from
Likely Battery Hookup. Long gone now
How much for 3 casings?
I'm not sure if I will get rid of them just yet, but I decide to not use them I'll keep you posted.
@@LifeAroundDamian Thanks, would need 3 as running 3 x 14 of the modules. A better way of adding end caps.
Best of luck with your project.
where did you purchase them?
Likely Battery Hookup. Long gone now
