    Why did it take so long between purchasing the hub motor to getting to this point? Just curious if you were busy doing other things like working or if it’s just really hard to do?

    • @LifeAroundDamian
      @LifeAroundDamian 8 часов назад

      Definitely does not take this long. I paused for a few years, I kept pushing it off. I didn't have a clear direction on my next steps and I was just trying different ideas. It then slowly started to come together.

    The phantom Forward Collision Warnings just show up once you get to 100 perfect score which is unethical. The late night driving is unfair business practice and forces rates to go up for those of us who work between the hours of 10 pm and 5 am. Tesla needs to think about the people who work for a living and need to drive around the clock. I don't think I will be buying another Tesla because insurance is becoming cheaper with gasoline vehicles these days. The Tesla Insurance company also is not on the BBB and complaints are null and void! I don't like this part of being a Tesla owner. Car goes up for sell if they don't change this or at least have an option for those who drive late at night for work. They should come up with something like 15 miles round trip to and from your job to make it fair for all.

    Awesome job ... would have liked to see you screaming for joy on the first take 🙂. Can't wait to see it running!!! You mentioned something about not crimping the cables correctly, what was that?

    • @LifeAroundDamian
      @LifeAroundDamian 10 дней назад

      The way my cables were originally crimped, I had the terminal just pinched on both sides of the connector without actually compressing the cable. The proper way was to have the terminal compressed equally around the cable. Hope this makes sense! I'll definitely keep my original reaction for the test drive haha

    Literally helped me with the tesla wallconnector problem. Keeps on blinking red because apparently it needed servicing because it just won’t work for some reason. I cleaned out the car ports and the wall connector ports with a cotton swab and it solved the red blinking problem. Im suprised nobody mentioned this when trying to solve this little thing. 🙏

    No one debates the power. Electric has unbelievable torque. Anyone saying different is biased and ignoring truth. That isn’t the issue. The issue (there are a number, but the big issue) is the limitation of batteries

    Hello, apart from the cost of the servos, esc, motor, receiver, compared to the cost of a goosky frame kit, how much would you estimate the cost of the remaining parts to buy once you have printed your frame.?

    • @LifeAroundDamian
      @LifeAroundDamian 24 дня назад

      I'm not sure. Since the electronics cost as much as the kit, I recommend buying the kit and transferring everything to a 3D-printed frame. All you would need is the head assembly, swashplate, bearings for the bearing blocks, and some screws to complete the kit.

      @LifeAroundDamian Месяц назад

      The 1985 VF750C looks to have a ton of space and would be a great cruiser after converting it to electric! Talking with the QS Motor company, I was told that I should get 62-74mi/charge at 40mph and 46-52mi/charge at 49mph. So this heavily depends on the speed I'm going, but I will definitely make a video on the data after some rides!
