⭐️ Tofu scramble is a wonderful savory breakfast and lunch recipe because it's easy to make and delicious, and its texture is soft and creamy, similar to scrambled eggs.
⭐️ Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces firm tofu
¾ cup non-dairy milk plain and unsweetened. We recommend oat or soy milk.
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
¾ teaspoon salt or more to taste
2 twists black pepper
¼ teaspoon black salt or kala namak. Optional for an eggy flavor. Add more for more eggy taste.
Metric:
15 grams olive oil
250 grams firm tofu
180 grams non-dairy milk plain and unsweetened. We recommend oat or soy milk.
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
¾ teaspoon salt or more to taste
2 twists black pepper
¼ teaspoon black salt or kala namak. Optional for an eggy flavor. Add more for more eggy taste.

❤️ Cooking should be done with caution. Pay attention while using knives and cooking tools. Nico is a trained chef, and it is solely for entertainment purposes that he sometimes looks into the camera while he cooks. ❤️
In India its called paneer ki bhurji ......just paneer in place of tofu ......India is indeed the heaven for vegans .......so much delicious dishes ...... world doesn't even know about ☺️
Im..all in were can you go??..North. or south India??
@@phillipbear7630 South
Paneer is dairy not Vegan
You understand paneer isn’t vegan right ?
Aye fool this is vegan dish not Panner , it’s tofu it looks like Panner
I’ve made this a couple times the last time I made it I added nutritional yeast to give it that cheese like flavor and added soyrizo turned out really good!
I just prepared this and is soooo good! Thank you for sharing.
I'm 100% sure this is the BEST tofu scramble recipe that I've seen to date...cant wait to try ASAP
Absolutely amazing I just tried the recipe and it is stunning, I don’t like the taste of eggs so this is fabulous😍
The was you say Kala namak is so cute
When you want it to taste like egg, Kala Namak isn't optional. In fact, you should add some after cooking, because it loses some of the taste when heated
Wonderful !❤
I don’t see the necessity of non dairy milk . I make mines with some tomatoe jalapeños and onions with some garlic powder salt and I add some tumeric for the color it still comes out delicious. His version is different and still looks good
Thanks il use your recipe!
I assume it's because tofu scramble is often made for vegan reasons in place of scrambled eggs
I usually go silken for scramble. That looks v firm is the plant milk silking it up?
yep
Hmm never thought of this…I may try this
Is there a reason for non dairy milk if youre not plant based?
No
Always good to less support animal suffering :)
But i guess it would also work with cows milk
Where?? can we pick up that last spice..K..something??..
Kala namak.....it's black rock salt......
@@Prakriti. ok..great..ty
@@phillipbear7630 kala namak aka black salt. The flavour is VERY eggy. But it disappears when cooked so always save some to sprinkle on when the dish is ready. A must for scrambled tofu. For this recipe I would only add lemon juice with the milk for some balancing acidity. 🙌
@@tangerinetangerine4400 OK Great..Thank-you..
I ordered mine from Amazon
You need some onion in there
This was the worst recipe.. I've tried several (majority were good..some amazing)
Tofu didnt go with the sweet potatoes at all.. and it was missing flavours..
I can tell that tastes dead, I've tried so many different recipes with different spices and seasoning, and i doubt just adding turmeric powder will add much to the taste
The typical western cuisine. So plain, bland, and boring! Sauté onion first at least before you cook the tofu to make it more flavorful and aromatic. Add green onions or cilantro few seconds before you finish cooking to give the scramble more color and texture. Fuyoh!!!!
I wish tofu scramble didn't require so many ingredients. Scrambled eggs taste good with just eggs and, optionally, salt and pepper, which makes it convenient for breakfast.
