Honestly I think it just looks cool 😂 Was easy to install and is good quality. I haven’t noticed any performance gain, just a slightly more audible whistling sound from the turbo. That I enjoy. Additionally a lot of people hate on aftermarket intakes, but I have never experienced a negative on over 20 cars with different intakes and miles.

Agree 100% it makes no sense. If I had more time I would have tried to fashion something better like an easily accessible external plug.
