Thank You Priscilla!
I love this pattern and decided to enlarge it for a king size bed. I changed the fabric to yardage and cut 10” strips. I am dropping it off at the quilter this afternoon.
I'm glad you love it!
Puerto Rico. A paradise in the caribbean. Food and lovely views will have you coming back each year.

Don't know if you have said where you are going yet. I just saw this Sailor's Song. My husband is retired Navy and I showed it to him. I will probably make this for him for Veterans Day. We went to the Bahamas on a quick cruise. You did a great job describing and the quilt is very attractive.
Thank you! We are heading to the Dominican Republic. We went in January and loved it so we're going back. Thank you to your hubby for his service! Blessings.
We spent our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic, and enjoyed it a lot. Wherever your husband takes you, I wish you a wonderful stay! And thanks a lot for making this quilt! I adore simple-to-make quilts that look very complex. ❤ from the Netherlands

Besides your quilts, I always admire the color of your hair, mine is so white, I need your color. 😃
I was one of those super blond kids. It’s still blonde but with streaks of silver. This is the first time I’ve gone with my natural color in years. I’m hoping it will turn Snow White as I age.
What a beautiful quilt. I have some material I just wasn't sure what to do with it, but I do now. Thanks for the inspiration.

❤ Hello - I was scrolling one night and happened on your video. LOVED the pattern and went to my stash and pulled two fabrics that I had 2.5 yds each - which I am totally thankful for as I discovered I needed to PAY EXACT attention otherwise you make pinwheel blocks. My version is not a sailor themed fabric but orange. LOVED your pattern.
That sounds amazing! I love orange in quilts. I'd love to see it.

Love this!!
Hello again, Sue. I am finally making this quilt. What fun! I’d love to know what you and others consider the best way to press that diagonal seam. So far I have made just over 50 quilts. Every one has taught me something new. The first 20 or so I hand quilted. Then I considered my age and decided I could make more quilts for more dear people if I had them machine quilted. This one is a first in a new way. I found fabric almost identical but not exactly, and I’m shamelessly copying your quilt. It will be about twice as big but otherwise “a man on the back of a galloping horse” would never notice the difference. Sew on, and sew forth!
Hi Marilynn, I'm excited that you're making this; All seams in this quilt should be pressed to the darker fabric. ~Suze
