    Blimey. I did not think we made anything in this country anymore! Great to see we still have people with practical skills. I started off as a Royal Arsenal apprentice in 1975 and went to some interesting places in the country. Royal Enfield Small Arms Factory and ROF Nottingham to see the big gun being forged and turned. Hundreds if not thousands of people working in engineering and proud of it. We can do it and do it properly, not some back street Indian company with no H&S, dressed in rags with safety flip flops. Hope this firm goes on for another 100 years and more. Make Britain Great Again.

    On two or three occasions , these guys " Central Wheel Components " have found solutions for my Motorcycle rims , spokes supply & Ceramic coating for my own bikes. They did this efficiently , with a sense of humor , and each time made my request priority.
    I am formerly from Birmingham , but now live in Spain.
    Every time its been worth my peace of mind to always return to CWC.
    Thank you CWC & all the team working in the backroom.
    5 star Service.

    Brilliant viewing thank you. The lack of music and fancy editing effects and purely concentrating on the content reminded me why I stopped watching broadcast TV. Once again great job will be sharing with many.

    Great to see a British manufacturer thriving, it proves it can be done here.. Just a shame our last tyre manufacturer (Avon) decided to close their UK factory, I bought their tyres specifically because they were British made, now I don't have any choice but to buy foreign made tyres so I may as well go to Michelin, Bridgestone or Continental etc.. etc..

    I worked at the old CWC gaff which was demolished for the M6 Toll. I transferred there when Groutage & Ingram (Owned by the same family) slowed down for the winter. Went from making concrete products to running a Straightener, Header and Threader. I was taught by one of the family (Frank) how to operate the machines just before he retired. This was during 1994/5.

    Very interesting tour around the factory. Now I wonder why modern retros like RE, Triumph and all new bikes with tube spoke rims dont have tubeless fitted. Not only better for punctures but also much safer.

  • @rampakeshbharat1938
    @rampakeshbharat1938 Год назад

    I had a Triumph 750 rear wheel fitted with new rim, spokes, tyre, tyre securing bolts, inner tube, and rim tape by CWC. The rim tape is fitted to protect the inner tube rubbing against the nipples to prevent a puncture and requires two additional holes to accommodate the two tyre securing bolts. I got a puncture at 70mph shortly after fitting my newly built wheel. Once home and tyre removed, the two additional holes hadn’t been made in the rim tape. Instead of making the two holes in the tape to accommodate the securing bolts it had been moved out of the way allowing the tube to rub against the nipples. The puncture occurred at one of these points. I would urge anyone having a new wheel requiring tyre securing bolts to watch the fitting of the rim tape and tyre securing bolts to ensure this never happens again.

    I admire the guys who balances out wire spokes wheels by visual and measurements unlike the monkeys who stick a weight where the computer points u to... 😂😂. People never understand how comfortable wire spokes are even if they are maintenance heavy.
