So here it, a haul of all the steals and luxury fashion bargains that I managed to get on this season´s sale - from my new Balenciaga Hourglass coat to my Valentino Booties and Bottega Veneta sneakers. I hope you enjoyed the video!

Ciao cara! I love your new video and I amongst all of your new purchases the Bottega Veneta sneakers and the Valentino boots are my favorites! You always give me new ideas to spend more money LOL Anyways, I did decide to go for a new bag today. I ended up buying an Orciani leather tote 😍 As you already know I was not sure of the old Celine cabas totes on VC and being that I didn't want to go for a new Celine bag, I decided to buy an Orciani bag that I actually had my eyes on for quite a while since they are sold in one of my local boutiques and I always thought they look amazing. In the end what I needed was a sturdy bag to use for work and where I can fit my laptop, my makeup pochette and a lot of other stuff. Have a lovely evening Evelyn!

The color you're trying to mention at 5:01 is "moss green" (at least that's the colour I see haha)
I love everything that you purchase and I am always using your links to find the items that you pick out to purchase. I have to say that if this is a channel of mindful purchases the coat is not really resonating to me as an item that would fall into this category. I can't imagine wearing this coat that is a walking billboard for the brand, in two years from now. Maybe I am wrong, but as you know how fast fashion changes, even on sale it seems like such a risky and not mindful purchase as your channel professes to be. Normally I don't have this kind of reaction to what you purchase, since I adore your taste!!!
Thank you! I agree, the coat is a step out of my usual "comfort zone" but sometimes I need spice things up a bit to keep my wardrobe and styling choices interesting if you know what I mean😊
I love the Balenciaga coat and although it is branded, it is subtle considering the way other labels brand their items. May I ask what you recommend for sizing of the coat ? Is it TTS or better to size up ?

Can you please tell me what size is your coat and I just found this coat in size 42 and trying to decide whether to get it. I don't have the ability to try it on before buying.
Hello dear,I am glad my videos inspire you! I got the coat in ca FR 38 but I find it a little snug around the shoulders because it so structured and I do have wide shoulders. If I would get it again, I would go for a FR 40.

Never considered Bottega Veneta sneakers before, but fell in love with them just now - these are what I've been looking for. How's the sizing? I read they fit large to size and it is suggested to go a half size down...
Also, the color of that Isabel Marant sweater is amazing! Truly a stunning neutral.
Thank you! So with the Bottega sneakers I actually went up half a size because they are quite stiff and not as wide as they appear to be. My feet are also not on the "wide side". Hope that helps!

Surprised to hear your accolades to Valentino booties. They are indeed gorgeous! But I personally had 3 pairs of Valentino sandals and they were so uncomfortable that I would return them the very next day. For that reason I have been avoiding Valentino shoes for some time now.
P.S. How do you keep your sneakers white????
Sorry to hear that! I only had great experience with Valentino shoes (expect a pair of Rockstud ballerinas in patent leather that I got ages ago). Well, I usually give them a scrub / clean frequently and I also use white or neutral shoe paste whenever I can to protect them and to keep the leather smooth. There are also special foams to clean the soles whiich I yet have to try out!

I love your purchases, have to because we have the same taste. I wonder if I could get your opinion on buying after the trend. All the high streets are doing a Pouch now. If Berschka has a pleather Pouch for €13 is it still worth it to buy the Bottega now? If Parfois has a booktote for €23 is it still worth it to buy the Dior one now? If you don't live and breathe fashion, there is money to spend but no money to burn, is it worth it or does it loos it's shine whenever the masses discover it? If it's not a classic, the hype is trinkeling down and there is no resell value, is it wise to spend on a trend? Or is it better to buy a high street designer dupe? If you always loved oversized black clutches and the Pouch makes your heart sing, then it's not buying the hype but buying something you love despite the hype. But when is a trend actually worth the money and when will it be a Fendi monster bagcharm? Thank you for reading and letting me geek out about the subject
Hey dear, thank you for your comment! Well, I think you kind of answerd that yourself already: If you get something that you are sure will not stand the test of time regarding resell value then there have to be other factors that still make that item worth the splurge for YOU - for example your admiration for the brand or the quality or the design or the fact that this piece will go down in fashion history as a "collectors piece".
Back in the days when I did not have the budget for designer items I used get the dupes, too but now I would almost always save up and go for the real deal because for me personally buying the "original" comes with so many factors that you don´t get on the high street.
the geek is chic I think it's my down to earth nature who has some problems with forking over so much money for just stuff that, to me, is not worth spending so much money on. The sadle or baguette bags are an ode so satc, very trendy now and then but they didn't spoke to me. I love, love, love the Margiela Glam Slam or Candywrapper clutch and I don't mind spending the money on that. The Puzzle will never be trendy, just as the classic Chanel flap, but they do appeal to me.
Thank you for your response. After typing all this I just realised that it isn't about the money at all but my taste is just so specific that I either go for the classics or the polar opposite. Apparently I'm not a fashion follower so trends won't be worth the money. High street if I like- designer if I love it. There always is a gut feeling about what I love and that love has everything to with taste and not with how hot and happening an item is.
Maybe I just second guessed my taste or myself because of the Pouch. I adore oversized clutches so the Pouch does appeal to me. I thought about it and made a pros and cons list in my head. I love MMM and that is such an aquired taste that something that appeals to most, doesn't appeal to me. No wonder that I hardly ever feel the need to buy an it anything. I didn't instantly loved a bag for so long that that sorta like it but don't love so will it be worth the money feeling about the Pouch confused me. Wanting to love something just because you like and everybody wears it, is not the same as actually loving it. Thank you or letting me find my inner fashion voice again :D
The brand is in the unique shape of the coat. Having the brand plastered all over it cheapens this coat. It looks like a package stamped all over....Sorry but for this price....

First I want to say I love this video and I really like your style. But after watching, you Lydia and other European Utubers you are so much more into designer clothes than most Americans lifestyles call for, we are much more casual and our style is not really designer clothes unless its demin. After today video I realize that it’s not how we dress in the USA I love designer jean, shoes and bag (and own several) however J.Crew clothes, coats and a Veronica Beard jacket do it for me and I need to stop trying to emulate European blogger that just not realistic in the US. The US Utubers don’t to a lot of designer clothes most are always showing really cheap clothes (Express) because they know American don’t really spend money on designer clothes. So I will continue to watch for the shoe and bags.😀
Hey dear, I think it is great that you stay true to yourself and your personal lifestyle! On the other hand, Germans are known for not being "open" to invest much into clothing either (very general speaking here) but I do it because it is my personal passion:)💖
I totally find lydias channel just sell sell sell...buybuybuy.....yours is much better..you are less shop girl more informed consumer......nice choices but not a big fan of the visible branding so the coat is a no
I agree. I prefer Evelyn’s channel and the coat would be more beautiful if not for the branding. I don’t care for the bold Balenciaga branding.
