This man is 90 years old!!! He's in such incredible health!
Must be all that poutine.
Its hard to believe its the same person !!! As always actors seem to be disappointing in real life.
Bones is an excellent physician.
Wow! If that's what space travel does to you then sign me up! 😄
Better than Patrick Stewart 😪
What a guy. At his age, you just gotta love his "Well, I did my best" attitude.
For Star Trek, William was the "RIGHT MAN IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME."
Thank goodness Jeffrey Hunter bowed out after the pilot. Some thought the role wasn't big enough for Hunter. Shatner gave the role a permanent place in history.
People parody and revisit the "KAHHHHHNNNNNNNN!" moment because it's wonderful and they love it.
Yeah it's an iconic moment. Whenever I see someone parody it, it means that person saw and remembered it long after!
What people always forget (perhaps including Shatner himself) is that this is a moment of acting by KIRK, not just by William Shatner. Kirk wants Khan to think he's won, but he's actually the one in control.
@@suedenim Hours instead of days! Now we have minutes instead of hours!
He's the dude playing the dude putting on an act for another dude.
The Gorn fight was the most brutal, incredible brawl ever captured on the silver screen.
Nah, the fight with Finnegan in 'Shore Leave' is more brutal and goes across and Ad break (with bonus ripped shirt). ;-)
Small screen, not the silver screen. There is a famously epic fight in 'They Live'.
I was never the same after watching it...
YEEESSSSS!
It was quick and merciful.
Still going strong at 90 years of age. A remarkable man. May he continue to live long and prosper!
William Shatner's such a legend 👑
In his own mind
3:09 "That's okay. I did the best I could and it's not terrible." I love this man.
One of William Shatner's great gifts is to work beyond his image and his fame, put into perspective, and not take it too seriously. That alone is an unusual talent. Kudos Bill. Take another bow.
So handsome when he was young...old age sucks..that being said ..he's as sharp as a tack and i hope he stays around a lot longer.
He looks amazing and he's obviously having the time of his life.
I seriously cant believe Shatner is 90. To me he is 70 at most. As much as I love Star Trek, I think my favorite role of his might be Nightmare at 20,000 ft in the Twilight Zone 😁
There's... something on the wing. Some.... thing... on the wing!
i wish you guys had showed him clips of his early career and his iconic roles in twilight zone
Nah... they should've gone deeper than that.... like say the TV Pilot for Alexander The Great that saw Shatner starring opposite of Adam West.
I was really hoping that he’d react to his two Columbo appearances
@@gracemuchmore anything beyond star trek would be nice.
Not to mention, Tekwar!
@@fredcasdensworld did the pilot ever air?
It is awesome that he has gotten the opportunity to see the haters fade out and appreciation for his work grow.
He doesn't pay attention to haters, they look miserable to him. Haters gonna hate!
It blows my mind that he’s 90. He’s unbelievably sharp.
He is so full of youthful energy.
Gotta love William Shatner. He's more together than many men half his age. I hope he continues to live long and prosper.
Absolutely adore the talent that is William Shatner.
Shatner was very polite and kind about others. Classy.
Gotta love the Shat!!
Captain looks great for 90!
The Khan scream is iconic for a reason. He should be nothing but proud.
I will always respect William Shatner mainly because I enjoyed STOS as well as Nimoy, Kelly, etc in reruns of the 70's. Although one or two of his costars may have had a little headbutt on occasion he will always be captain of the USS Enterprise, no disrespect to future captains who I admire also but "Captain Kirk " rings through the ages. And humble as he claims in viewing himself in past Trek footage he has no reason to be ,he was a very handsome man in the day. I have many other similar stars I admire but because I live on the other side of the world I will never get to even say Hi to them. Most respect William Shatner.
That is so sweet. I've been a James T Kirk fan since 1968. I met him by accident one time- funny story.
@@stevenjones6780 oh alright it's been a year, tell us the story.
All Shatner fights are great but I prefer the pinnacle engine room fight with Kahn if I had to name one. It's so immediate as he fights for the life of his ship in real time against a suicidal mad man!
@@KairuHakubi You mean when I met Shatner by accident back in '83?
@@stevenjones6780 yeah dude! I think we'd all like to hear that. If it is, as you claimed, a funny story.
How could you leave off the "rocket man" performance!?
I love William Shatner!!!🥰😍❤️🌹
I was in love with him as a child… at 58, I’m still in love with him. He’s as gorgeous and charismatic as ever. There’s only one Bill Shatner ❤❤❤
Me too. I just love him.
One of my all time favorite actors. There would be no Star Trek franchise without this man.
Shatner a true straight man, laughing at how serious people take him. Maybe we’re all the Jerry to his Dean!😁😁🎆🌅💕💕
I feel confident that this man will live to be 110 Years Old...if not more...
dude iS 90 years old ... awesome!!!
Shatner was brilliant as Denny Crane on Boston Legal.
I LOVE William Shatner!! enjoyed watching him for so many decades on T.V. I hope he never retires.
I can't believe they didn't show his "Big Giant Head" character!
william shatners the man.
There hasn't yet been anything I have seen William Shatner in that hasn't been awesome!
I'd just love to see him appear in Star Trek one more time.
Probably wont happen.....but it would be a great moment
Strong, confident and likable male character. Wouldn't fit in what passes for Star Trek now.
@@WillCamx 😆
The Man the myth the Legend
...Living Legend
He can remember things that I don’t think I can remember. Plus he looks younger than 90. I hope I’ll stay sharp like Shatner at his age
Sorry for simping, but ur cute af.
@@BizarrePower lol I must be old because I don’t know what simping means but I can guess
@@BizarrePower Come on bro, stop being a simp lol
He’s great! A real gem and I hope he lives forever.
What a handsome devil he was back in tos
You're the man, Bill!
Mr. Shatner was quite a handsome man in his younger years.
He was stunning.....but Leonard Nimoy was sexier ;)
William was so georgious when he was younger no wonder he hates watching himself but he is still a great person and he had a lot of guts to go up in a rocket for real at the age of 90 Incredible.👽
Bill Shatner giving the speech "I am Canadian"...
Classic. 🇨🇦 🍁 🖖
Never really paid much attention to Shatner but now I must say he is a very cool dude love him
the truth is the guy has an amazing talent
hes kinda been kicked around alot
but , even with all that. look what hes accomplished
you put this guy in the right role, hes about the best in the world
and even though that hasent happened enough times hes done a load of things no one has even come close to doing
just look at star trek alone, a low ratings sixties TV show that ran three years that becomes this gigantic iconic thing
how many other times did that happen?
look at his albums, whos ever done anything like those masterpieces
i dont see lawrence oliver or robert dinero pulling that kinda thing off
it should be recognized that the guy is a huge performing talent
with an unprecedented level of artistic courage
AND HES 90 YEARS OLD AND LOOK AT HIM
the only role hes unfit to play is a ninty year old man
AND HE IS ONE
Shatner’s always great - Airplane 2 clip didn’t show him walking through the video screen door which was the funniest joke in the movie.
Yeah, i remember that now many years after i watched the movie, it looked like it was a video screen and when he opens the door it turns out to be a window in the door.
The part where they discuss the meaning of the machine with flashing red florescent tubes and wondering what it actually does was a close second.
Analyzing the 2 Airplane movies, time well spent.
William Shatner is awesome
Mr. Bill Shatner at 90 years and still ongoing!
Mad respect for Mr. Shatner! "The Admiral of Sci-fi"
He is a legend!!
What a legend still
A national treasure right there
The greatest, funniest, canadian of all time he'll never be topped
I love William Shatner 💖
And lets not forget Denny Crane, (Boston Legal) he had some great lines.
This was so cool on him talking about things he did on tv! Their have been tons of rare broadway performances appearing on youtube wayyy before star trek...he was an amazing actor in his plays! I wonder if he knows about them being uploaded online.
Might you provide a link or keyword to some of that? Thanks...
Give him whatever he wants -- I want a video commentary track on every original Star Trek episode. He says he's never watched an episode, so it would be interesting.
Bill was in Judgement at Nuremberg with Spencer Tracy too!😼
Also, in the film The Brothers Karamazov, when he was really young.
@@rosemaryheilemann2229 Was going to say that then saw your comment.
There's a video on RUclips of him doing a scene from "The World of Suzie Wong" with France Nuyen years before they appeared together on "Elaan of Troyius" in Star Trek.
@@WillCamx Thanks! Will check it out. I knew about that but never saw.
Bill Shatner! - Live even longer and ....of course prosper whilst doing so.
What a legend. I grew up watching Star Trek in the 1960s, mr Shatner looks 70👍😀
I could watch Bill Shatner all day 😂😂
90 years old. Amazing
Imported national treasure. You are A LEGEND SIR!!
Always a pleasure listening to Shatner
I saw Shatner in 1978 when he was out of work and doing an appearance during a “The New York Philharmonic plays Star Wars” show. They had him in a spotlight reading the last pages of Arthur C Clarkes “Childhoods End” which he did in dramatic Shatner fashion.
Wish that was on utube!
Me too! Who knows maybe the venue videotaped it.
I know a lot of people don't like Shatner, but I always thought he was fun. Ego? Yeah, he had tons, but I think that issue is pretty common in the industry.
Mr. Shatner in my opinion is a amazing human being, I saw him live in a one man show in Hamilton Ontario Canada and I was more impressed than any of his acting credits. Being a huge Trek fan, not just for him but the show itself. Mr. Shatner has always and remains today an inspiration to people every where, Live long and prosper.
Gotta love him!
Kirk climbed it because it was there 🤣🤣🤣
I love you William Shatner
He was
So handsome.
The lizard ear slap saved my life thank u captain Kerk
Maybe he doesn't like watching himself because he knows what a ham he is. Maybe it embarrasses him a little bit, and makes him
self conscious.
I love the guy!
At least you looked like you were mad at Kann. Best acting ever.
Love me some William Shatner. 💋
be well live long & prosper🖖 bill shatner
He the MAN - Everyone
He’s had an…amazingly….successful…..CAREER!!!
One of the things that makes Star Trek II so great was that moment when Kirk says, “khannnnnnn!”
what an interesting actor and amazing character on the science fiction tv hit series, great memories when i was a kid, great person
I like his performance in boston legal! That is so funny
Dennnnnny Crane. DennyCrane. Denny. Crane!
Absolutely.
Boston Legal is the only thing I have loved him in other than Trek. He just suited that series perfectly.
Yes, many other better clips they could have shown, but they went for a little bit of shaming factor.
I remember as a teenager being part of the first Star Trek convention in NYC in the early 70's. Back then I worked with my teacher and his family at a table selling t-shirts and ST memorabilia. Within in those 3-4 days of the convention I was lucky enough to meet James Doohan (Scotty), George Takai (Sulu), and Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) but was unable to meet both Willian Shatner and Leonard Nimoy (you could'nt get near them because of the crowd). At the time I thought both these men were larger then life (being the Trekkie I was back then). However, throughtout the years I folllowed both men's careers in acting, and writng books--both men phenomenal! William Shatner at 91 is by far one of the lone survivors early ST era (next to George Takai) and a very energetic funny man who went up in space--totally love him! Bill may you live long and prosper!
Thanks for entertaining us us for so many years Bill.
Love Shatner
He KKKHHHHHHHAAAAAANNNNNNNNN't stand watching himself...I'll show myself out...
The thing is he was gorgeous wasn't he 3.22 and that is how he will always remain.😍
Living LEGEND
Still a joy to see!!!!
Living Legend!
what?? No Rocket Man?? The legend, the classic....
Can't believe all the performances you've done!!!
Loved it totally loved it
Now 92 years.
The legend speaks. 👍❤️
I love the “Khhaaaannnnn” that was SO well acted!
Thank you for everything Mr. Shatter! Even the silly moments!
Shatner was hilarious as "The Big Giant Head" on Third Rock from the Sun.
Shatner climbing a mountain... inspired a whole genre of youtube videos... including I believe those Breaking Bad remix videos.. tbh
Legend
His new album is great! Very interesting music that he talk/sings along to.
He always looks like he's holding in an epic burp!
