Daemon was a brother to Viserys I, who gave birth to Rhaenyra, who gave birth to Viserys II, who gave birth to Aegon IV, who gave birth to Brynden Rivers. So he was his great great grand nephew as well.
Also, a friendly tip for writing Roman numbers, better to use the i/I rather than 1 so it is not confusing with 1, 11 e.t.c.

He also might've had a hand of making Euron Greyjoy the monster he is. There's long standing theory that before settling to Bran, Bloodraven went trough number of candidates and one of them was Euron "Crow's eye" Greyjoy. Euron's description about dream is very similar to Bran's and it's awfully convenient that Euron seemingly one day got magical abilities out of the blue.
This might bite everyone in Westeros to ass, as Euron has amassed vast army and collected loads of magical artifacts. His end goal is not only to take the iron throne, but become very literal god of evil. The scary part? He might actually be able to do it. At the very least, tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands will be dead before he's done.
If memory served correct the Blackwoods worship the old gods? That would explain why he had eyes everywhere and why he eventually became the 3 eyed crow. He must have been a skin changer.

None of the bastards wanted to carry the Targaryen last name. They didn't care at all of they were legitimized or not
Brynden was a kiss ass to Daeron and rejected the name for the sake of Targaryen stability, Daemon Blackfyre rejected the name for different reasons
Keep in mind they were bastards and legitimized so it was probably by force that they were called to the castle to claim their "birthright" but they are prices so they also aren't jumping to 100% claim a bastard unless they are on a thrown 😅 basically "everyone already knows you're a bastard. So now you're a bastard prince"

A bastard is a child born from someone you aren’t married to. If a married woman had a child with a man who wasn’t her husband, the child would be a bastard, and if a married man had a child with someone who wasn’t his wife, the child would be a bastard. And if two unmarried people had a child together it is considered a bastard. In Westeros I think bastards can only be legitimised by the king.
