Same problem here.. bought 2 singles and daisy chained them.. but there is only a 3 pin controller and the instructions say to use a controller.. it's like a scam. Did you find a solution for that?
If I want to connect Lian-Li Unifans to an Arctic Freezer III AIO which has the RADIATOR FAN, VRM FAN, and PUMP splitter cables, will I need this? I just wanted to remove these arctic cooling fans and install the Lian Li Uni Fans, the pack came with the controller, what would the wiring be though I can't find any solid steps online, I assume these 3 fans must go to the controller? then the controller plugs into the CPU FAN header? but I also have 2 additional groups of x3 unifans lol what should I do? The Arctic LF3 AIO has 3 daisy chained 3 or 4 pin fans coming off a built in wire.
@@quadrapodacone which fans and 3 pack or singles do you have? I was able to get it all connected in a way where rgb for the radiator fans were synced to the controller but the fans themselves were controlled by the motherboard just by using what was provided with the 3 pack and single fans that we used
@@JUICE-wk2tz I have the 3 pack of TL fans. I just decided to use a push-pull configuration with the AIO powering the MSI fans on top and the Lian Li Control box controlling the fans on the bottom of the radiator.
25Eur extra just to be able to sync the rgb with msi dragon center, and set the fans under 800rpm. Why couldn' t you just include that little cable instead of forcing a shit control hub + application..
Will they come to Brazil? If not, is there any other online retailer selling those? I couldn't find them in Amazon and Newegg does not ship to Brazil, sadly...
Each individual fan-LED draws 0.6 A according to the specifications on the homepage. How come this video states that the connection supports up to 6 fans on one ARGB-Header, which regularly only supports up to a max of 3 A. 6 x 0.6 would be too much current drawn from one single header (unless a hub/connector with its own power connection is placed in between).
You are absolutely correct on this. Something's fishy with this video, because that RGB header must be getting HOT. I've been playing with this for a while and it turns out to safely utilize 12 fans in my config I have to order 2 fan controllers just to power the RGB, then utilize 3 of my fan headers on my motherboard to power the fans. All this just to bypass their stupid fan controller that requires their software in order to be utilized, and of course they only support Windows.
I have connected my SL v2 fans to my Asus ROG mobo but now the L Connect does not detect my 3 fans. how can I solve this? (PD the blades works well, but no rgb)
Which effects do I lose when I connect the strimer plus to the motherboard? And can I control the strimer plus with the L-Connect Software or do I really have to stick to my motherboards software and eventually (Question 1) lose effects?
Lian Li I wish u also made an AIO, I know u have galhaad but we want something with a screen like nzxt kraken z series and gigabyte aorus but nzxt cam and gigabyte software is not good it's unoptimised and buggy I find yours a bit better so if u have made an AIO which performs well and also include this unifan and plz try to optimise ur software It is still good but not the greatest
I am building a pc right now and the solution I found is that I should buy extra Sl 120 v2 fan just for the cable that comes with it then instead of the cable from the 5 pack one, then I can plug the fans on the AIO with pump and works and act normally. hope this help anyone
ordered 3 fan pack didnt come with cable for motherboard forced to use controller, understand now what "NO controller Means' you get the needed cable. had to order a single fan just to get the right cable. why don't they include the mother board direct cable with the 3 fan packs?
PWM doesn't work - fans only ramp up to fullspeed or 800RPM when set to PWM in the software. That's really annoying! They aren't controllable though PWM via motherboard - major drawback...
Always a good help when they literally rush through everything
Next time go super fast with a tutorial. Make it like a 6 sec video 🙄
Why is that rgb 3pin cable not included in the uni fan kit? These are hard to find. The software sucks for the controller and I don’t want to use.

When will this cable be available?
Can I just connect it to a fan header on motherboard then use lian li controller to control rgb?
@CaptNemo_ I have the same question. Have you tried this out? Does it work. I think it should work but would love an answer from you! Thanks.
And where do we get an adapter cable? Not all motherboards come with one.
Amazon

Does it support the ST140 fans?
Question: Do the fans Support Digital ArGB or ARGB V2?
Can youake tutorial on how to connect that fan to fan hub but with little more detail.
This is the eay if i bought a fans without hub?

Yeah im confused about this too, perhaps the cable kit limits the amps taken? Because there 0.6 over the limit on a single header here...

yup, same problem here. You can only adjust them manually.... pretty bad.
this is my problem when im install my infinity fan.
I did this but they dont light up
pwm doesnt work on motherboards using the controller. and it was advertised as so. Im returning this and getting my money back

You can buy a controller from phanteks or razer
