If you need it I've crafted a much more in-depth guide on wiring all the cables in your PC build, but this video will help you work out the logic of wiring front panel connections.

You deserve the literal world for this video, I’ve spent hours taking apart and reconnecting my computer only to find out this was my issue 😂😂😂 literally was going insane for a bit, felt like the joker
Glad to be of assistance
It took me 4 days to see why my computer wasn’t working and this video got it turned on your the man thank you so much
what was wrong?
Probably wrong insert in smth@@George-um2vc
probably had them in the wrong spot, like i did..
So basically this vid is useless as u failed to mention exactly how the power and reset hook up. Do they go opposite as top one has + on left and bottom has + on right ? Cause the mother board doesn't show what is + or - on the maximus dark hero and I'm waiting till I see someone show exactly what way before I turn it on. Maybe make a update video.
@@mattg2596 try find it in the manual that you hopefully got with it, trust me! :)
This guy saves me from having a phyco meltdown! Thank you so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Happy to help!

I was looking to find where is plus and where is ground on power and reset connectors and i found it in your video. Thank You. Was afraid to connect it wrong because it could short if case buttons share same little board. Thank you again. Have a great day.

@@ProfessionalTale everything all hooked up great and up and running 👍
This helped me loads! My sister helped me make my first pc but recently i adjusted a few things and was scared I broke something since it no longer turned on. But checking this and the markings helped me put the cables in the right spot! Its up and running again.
Excellent. Glad to help!
I’m saving this to my “for my pc” playlist, for when ever I buy the parts to build my first pc. I’m 13 and plan to save up 1200 dollars 💪💪💪💪

Definitely worth giving it a small highlight
I am used to the old separate little wires. Recently, I upgraded to a 011 VISION Envision case, and it came with an F-PANEL wire🤔. Omg...I look everywhere for the little wires. You save me from sending back this gorgeous case. Thank you⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
Great stuff 😂
i have a smart f-panel but my computer doesn't work, is it because the mobo might not be compatible? so I need a extension?@@TheProvokedPrawn
The Hyte cases use the F-Panel which is nice, don't have to worry about those other cables
All your videos have been an invaluable resource for my build. Thanks for making them, and earned a sub from me 👍

Bonkers this was the hardest part of building my first pc
Hope I helped
Omg is it that easy haha thx
broo thank you so much this helped me a lot i thought my pc was broke or something
Glad to help.
My reset switch is already plugged my case. Maybe because of the built in fans? I cant find a video anywhere on pc cases with fans already in them
Excellent video. Very helpful for my first build. Im using a Corsair 4000D case. These connectors seem really “loose” on the plugs when connected. Like they could fall off easily with minimal movement or vibration. Especially the single power LED wire ones. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Yeah they are like that sometimes
@@Connor-zb4uo Gotcha. Thanks. Seems to be working properly at least.
@@randyczerviski8903 I just finished putting together my second pc like 10 minutes ago and mine are really lose on this case which is a coolermaster. My first pc build was on a 4000d corsair and didnt seem too lose but lose enough that if they got snagged they would pop out. Its just the weird design of the cables I guess
Gotcha. Thanks. Yea my buddies seemed to be that way but everything is working good so all should be good. I really appreciate the feed back! Thanks again. @@Connor-zb4uo
Thanks man
No problem. Hope you appreciated enough to sub!
hey my pc is dell 7050 micro, i cant seen to find those pins on the manual
I have a header that says LES SW where would I plug that in first time I’ve seen it on a header
❤ thank god the pc is running again
Thank you so much man. I was looking for how to setup power led cables. All that just to have my power button flash white when i press it.
Glad I could help
Thank go I accidentally pulled ou the power sw cable while cleaning and I didn't knew what to do
Thx man love from iraq
I base it on the orientation like all of the names are facing down.
Did all of this followed everything but my pc still won’t turn on is there anything else I can do?
Life saver
Thank you
You're welcome
Yes why are these plugs and markings so small and the manuals are always in a very small feint font.
And the printing on the mother board is hard to read as well
I'd love to buy one of those adaprtor plugs that you mention. But I cannot find one. Do you have a brand name or model ? or a link ?
It would make it easier.
Are all motherboards pins the same ?
Yeah I hate how small the text is, Just try to plug them in outside the case and put the mobo in and shove the wires somewhere or have someone with good eyes do it
I dont have the h.d.d led cable, can someone help on how to plug in reset sw? I only have an led sw cable
how do you remove them from the top right corner of the case where the power button is? how do you remove them?
HELP! in my case i have a single F_panel cable, i’ve found the placement on the mobo for it but the pins don’t align?. The pin that’s closed of is on the wrong side of the cable with no way to flip it into the correct spot 🙏🤦🏽
same here don't know what to do
Thank you, friendly prawn :)
My pleasure 😊
Do you know what to do if i turn my pc on and it truns on, but my monitor and mouse and keyboard cant connect?
Is it really that easy because I was confused at first because my case has a front panel usb all in one like shown in the video while my motherboard is not standardized for the connector
Can you help me out please I connected everything my pc turns on and all but it won’t let me turn it off
I didn’t receive Hdd led cable, there should have been?
Why do we have 2 pled one opposite to hdd and one opposite to speaker
Can u please tell where to connect case fans. I’m using phanteks G500A and i connected almost everything except one full 3 pin connector and a 3 and one missing point connector. They both are from case fans and idk where to plug them..
sys FAN headers on the motherboard. You can see some examples here I think ruclips.net/video/mPRrPGjV_jo/видео.html
@@TheProvokedPrawnthe 3 pin one is a daisy chained cable.. it’s more like 3 fans connection got connected into one 3 pin daisy chainable cable.. i’m confused
These cables and the io shield. Both of them are the most difficult parts of building a PC. If you can master the skill of installing them with ease, your PC is built 50% there
I have Biostar B450MX-S same issue, my pc didn't turn on, i followed the steps still my pc won't turn on. Please help
Duty adapter it’s a live saver 😀
i copy the orientation of the hdd led. i put the right + and - on power led (as same + and - in the mobo). the hdd led has light but my power button don't have. what should i do?
flip the plugs upside down they could be backwards
What is the adapter called
I have connected power led pin but it is showing led light on lift sise of power button
Did you connect reset and pwr sw switched? Or am i doing it wrong?
yes he did connect to reset button 🤣
Problem is my B650M doesnt have it labeled like that at all so im still stuck...i have no idea where to plug in, thanks anyways
I have a problem when i switch on the cpu it turns on and also the keyboard turns on but the mouse and monitor doesnt turn on Also when i press my cpu button to turn it off it doesnt work
I owe my life 😭
I have a speaker when i put it in it makes noises
This is what pc is all about.
my pc was not turning on so i tried it but it still doesnt turn on
Motherboard dosent have reset sw i think😢now what i do
I only have “F PANEL” on my motherboard and all the little wires on the case. Does that mean my motherboard isn’t compatible with the case?
F panel is what you want. Look at your motherboard manual and you'll see where the connectors need to go.
@@TheProvokedPrawn it only has two pins though
i regret didn't search online, i don't know what's happened to me yesterday, all wrong inserted and then computer won't start anymore, is motherboard damaged or what now ?? :((
What if you put them wrong in??
You mention there are adapters... can you link some that are gonna make this 900x less tedious lol. I see *some* but it involves... doing this same process, so like what's the point of the adapter lol
Probably so you don't have to fiddle around inside the case and can prepare it before hand.
My motherboard is different and it does not have plus or minus on it
Thanks i removed all cables to clean my pc, when i needed to reassemble it i got stuck with the frond panel connectors 😂. however my motherboard i a little older so it lookt a little Different, i hoop i dit it correctly but we will see when i turn it on😂
well my pc turns on but it turns off after 2sec
I dont have that on my motherboard
ME TOO I HAVE TO SWITCH MY MOTHERBOARD ON THE NEW CASE BUT MY MOTHERBOARD HAS POWER ON 1 SIDE AND LHD LED ON OTHER SIDE
You sound like Geralt of Rivia
I do not have a reset switch do I need that?
did you figure it out??
What if the reset sw wire is broken?
Reset switch isn't essential. Don't connect it and just restart via windows rather than a case button. Some cases don't even have that cable.
