I am so delighted to listen to this incredible musical jewel. Nathalie Stutzman has all my admiration. She has captivated my attention again and again with her incredible talents as a conductor and as a singer. And never disappoints. Her musicians are simply excellent and dedicated. Too bad Orfeo 55 is no longer around. What a loss for us all.

On ne se lasse pas d'écouter Nathalie et son ensemble épatant. Quelle merveilleuse symbiose entre ces artistes, leur chef et contralto, et bien sûr le grand Jean-Sébastien Bach, l'immortel. Je ne cesse de les écouter et l'aria "Erbarme dich, mein Gott" tout particulièrement qui me bouleverse toujours autant.
J'en suis dingue 🤪💚
Un caloroso abbraccio a Nathalie Stutzmann ed ai sui musici tutti, sorella in spirito e fedele vestale della musica bachiana.
Evitando inutili fronzoli ed impalcature intellettualistiche, arriva, dirigendo con voluta asciuttezza e ricerca filologica, alla sintesi del pensiero che Bach attraverso la sua musica trasfigura. L' uomo alla ricerca perpetua di sé, e con se stesso in lotta, proteso nello sforzo di migliorarsi, di spostare sempre piú avanti il limite del suo sentire, della sua conoscenza, spezzando le catene che lo tengono prigioniero del proprio ego, del proprio io, aprendosi a l'altro finalmente; a questo Noi, a questo TUTTO che ci appartiene e di cui facciamo, che lo vogliamo o no, indivisibilmente parte.
Une Musique de Jean Sebastien Bach rapide, compliquée/ complexe, mais si belle.
Ce que je veux dire : les Musiciens sont hors pair. C'est très difficile a jouer. Je pense aux trois flutistes par exemple, mais pas seulement.
Et puis il y a l'ineffable/ unique Nathalie Stutzmann.
Quel plaisir.

This is the best of the best. It's made my day listening to Nathalie Stutzmann all afternoon and now to see/hear her lead this incredible orchestra. Oh and then, of course, as if she hasn't been outstanding enough, there's her voice!! No words can describe this singer . . . just listen, you won't want it to end. Thank you to each and everyone who has a part in this marvelous music being made available to ordianary folk like me!!

I didn't have time to watch this, but I watched it anyway. Her passion and energy sweeps all before! Love, love, LOVE this woman, and her extraordinary band. Btw if you haven't seen her "Stabat Mater" with Jarroussky and Emoke Barath, please do so now - it's the most beautiful thing on the internet.

Vous avez raison, la joie se partage. L'allégresse des instrumentistes est tellement évidente...et pourtant, on devine les heures de travail pénibles auxquelles ils ont dû consentir...mais ils éprouvent un bonheur si évident qu'ils nous communiquent, nous pauvres béotiens. Et Dieu sait si nous avons un immense besoin de ce bonheur, par les temps qui courent. Nathalie est le catalyseur de ce flux de bonheur. Elle en est elle-même l'artisan, avec sa voix extraordinaire et cette capacité à transmettre toute l'émotion contenue dans la musique céleste qu'elle interprète avec un talent inimitable. Merci à elle, merci à tous ceux qui l'entourent si bien.
Die Musik des Meisters von Musik komponiert hört nie auf, mich zu überraschen. Johann Sebastian Bach ist bei weitem der größte Komponist, der je gelebt haben. Jedes Mal, wenn ich auf seine Werke zu hören, nimmt mich die Musik auf eine andere Ebene der Existenz. Ich nenne es mein Himmel!

Love it. Especially the enjoyment the conductor shows for her players right from the start.the highlights for me are Wie furtchtsam wankten meine Schritte and Erbarme dich. the connection between Nathalie and Satomi Watanabe is so moving. Very poignant to watch knowing Satomi is now gone.
