I absolutely love watching Ken Hackathorn he cracks me up. Remember every bullet has an attorney attached to it lol

So...that means I should shoot twice? (Yes, that IS a joke).
You all probably dont care but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account??
I somehow forgot the password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Jericho Jayce Instablaster ;)
@Joey Archie Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Awesome, extremely informative, thank you.
Texas was listening🤷🏼♂️
Ken, I’ve been teaching this drill and another one similar to church security teams for a couple years. I feel validated now seeing you teach something I’ve been doing. I’ve been a police firearms instructor for several years, worked in law enforcement, private security, and been head of a security team at a large church. We’ve actually had to deal with several incidents in church as well as threats. We have a very in depth and comprehensive course that we have developed from our own experiences. Thanks for this video.
Great information Ken, thank you for producing this video for our church security people!
LOVE THIS!!! And you validated what I've thought was the right plan.
I sit in a strategic spot in my church and mentally practice this exact scenario. And yes, I carry.............ALWAYS!
Keeping it real. Thank you Mr. Hackathorn.
I am a prison gard with a ccw and I volunteer at my church as secretary. I work the front of the auditorium. I sit facing the congregation never my back to the target ever. Bill is right about doing drills set up like real life on the range. I have my own drill that is setup like the post I fill at church. I also use dummy rounds when on the range to train for for miss feeds. Tow days a week I shoot for 30 minutes using these drills.
I would like some ideas on how to stop a full auto hand gun in the hands of a criminal. We have a lot of Chinese auto sears and switches on the street.Thank God we have not had a church shooting with them.
Excellent instruction from one of the best instructors I've seen. Thank you.
Bat Masterson, speed is fine, accuracy is final.
Yes, you can build a safe and worthwhile society on those words - you stupid bastard.
Don’t knock ‘em dude. Great quote from days gone by. Now where the hell did i put my pocket watch.......?
And J.B. Books said "Bat Masterson always was full of sheep dip ;>)
Every church that has an “armed team” needs to get some pro training. The training is on going.
The take away from this video for me was....Our church seats are way to close together, to the point of obstructing movement.
Another thing nobody in the media or utube has talked about. The shooter in Texas should have never been allowed to enter the building. Red flags were all over the place, even noticed from those not on the team.
Take this as a warning. This will happen again and we need to be pro active. The Lord wants us to welcome all but He also knows some are trying to do us harm.
Thanks for this Ken!
Agreed J9. Although I haven't heard how he got in. At our church which is a little smaller than Westfield, there is only 1 entrance that people can enter. We have at least 1, perhaps 2 armed personnel monitoring everyone walking across the parking lot and hopefully that guy would have been confronted BEFORE he entered the church. Certainly someone could be killed outside the church but the goal is to prevent the mass casualty situation that very well could have occurred had it not be for a very good for very lucky shot since it happened inside the sanctuary. The big thing I got out of this incident was proximity. If you know there is a threat then the first guy on the team that got killed needed to be a lot closer or further away from the perp. He was too far to tackle and keep the perp from drawing his weapon and too close to take cover. He was in no mans land and it cost him his life.
Thou shalt not kill, except sometimes. Religion is so great.

Surely you don’t know scripture.
I’ll take your comment as an attack on Christians and won’t bother responding further.
@@Fullyautomagic well if you wanna be the sheep, cool. We were created with a brain for a reason
Lots of good stuff on the Wilson Combat channel. No lots of great stuff!! I'm always sitting, I'm in an electric wheelchair. Where ever I'm at from home or out I always check out my surroundings and my advantage point and put myself in the best location. Fortunately I can stand and take a few steps to get undercover. Thanks for the video!! Rich
You’re very smart. Keep up the good work.
Great drill that directly applies to the "real world".
Thanks for sharing Ken!
Be safe!
Randy
I"m glad you made the point about the seating position. We have to always comment to the shooter not to have his feet near the rear legs of the chair. That puts the thigh directly under the muzzle. Thank you.
Mr. Hackathorn, you speak volumes about "real world" and I love "shit" it's just adds so much authenticity to reality. I hope to be on the range at Wilson Combat someday in the not-too-far-future. Thank you for tutoring, and your devotion to this.
Thanks Ken. You are a great teacher!
ken you are amazing to share all this information and Training with us, so many are trying to make money with this, and you are giving us this training for free, this is Christian America, Jewish America, Hindu America, and Muslim America. Thank you sir
The OG gun fighter himself Wyatt Earp said something like “speed Is fine but accuracy is final”. Great drill Mr. Hackathorn
Rick
Good drill to incorporate into the training regime... vary distance and target size and height because not every bad guy is the same size!
Thanks for the drill, I've been on a Church Security team for over 2 years now.. And anyone that is always needs to improve!
In the early 1980s, though being a Christian, I worked security details at various Reformed Jewish Synagogues during Shabbat services and other venues. Those were the days of a lot of PLO activity in the Middle East and elsewhere, and Neo-Nazi and skinhead activity in the U.S. Of course, I was a lot younger then...Never had any serious problems, but I never sat down or had my back to an entrance...
I'm on my Church Safety Team...i will definitely be forwarding this to our team leader! Excellent drill and instruction!
Rob Saunders i would like to help
"Speed is fine, but accuracy is final" ~Bill Jordan~
Great drills!! We all tend to get stuck in the square range fog, it's good to do these drills. I don't care who you are and how much you've shot. We all get rusty. Take care, flea
Draw from the seated position. Respect.
North Georgia listening.
Nice drill. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw Hackathorn shooting a Glock.
He shoots a "polymer without a soul" when he is conducting classes and drills because most of students shoot them. He still carries a 1911 daily.
Awesome drill. Thanks Ken! I think you could do this with airsoft in your garage too. Maybe even get a couple of volunteers to be OP4.
The Serpa rig is not preferable to safe carry. If you own kydex holsters, mine fit tight, no button. They lock on gun frame, not thru trigger. I carry a few different firearms, Sig 226, Glock 19, Glock 45(9mm). If no cover garment, S&W 442 in pocket holster with speed loader in opposite pocket. All are fine and easy to fire under stress. Good thread here, true ingo offered. Good job!
Great video as usual ! Keep’em coming please
Fantastic!!
Ken don't move like he used to, but he still has a place on my church security team!
Great stuff as usual.
EXCELLENT real world drill. Short, sweet, to-the-point. Just what old farts like me NEED.
Good to hear you rehashing "every bullet has an attorney attached to it". Many people are too quick to shoot and not thinking.
Love your drills. Feel a little cheated that I didn't get to see that beautiful 1911.
when you have to dominate an unknown number of attackers, double stack is your best tool. if I only had to take a long distance headshot I would definitely want the 1911.
That g45 is a sweet little number though
Good Man God Bless u .....u did more than you think
I’m going to try this. Good idea.
Good stuff 👍
Speed with accuracy is even better.
Loved that one
This is awesome information.
That was a well thought out drill.
Excellent information and drill (as always!). But the hokey "hard rock" loop is distracting.
this is good, important in todays world
Ken took his time getting up from that chair.
And he still beat the 5 second buzzer.
Remember he said speed is good but accuracy is better. He was accurate. And he's likely still faster moving than some sluggish snowflakes are coming out of their safe spaces.
best statement ever said. every bullet fired has attorney attached to it.
Good information, however; Unless you're specifically sited as a security asset, you're likely to be sitting in pews. How quickly can you do a combat turn while keeping your balance in that narrow space? Is there a kneeler you must deal with? Will there be other people between you and your "ideal spot," that you'll need to maneuver through a sea of legs to get to?
My thought is that if you are determined to maximize your position within the pews themselves (and not in isolated seats), and assuming the entry is behind you, try to sit in the last pew. If you're right-handed, sit to the right side of the entry, and if you're a lefty, the opposite side. This way, you should be able to do a strong-hand draw and rotate to a modified Weaver (aka Chapman) or Center Axis Relock (CAR) stance to deal with a target to your off-hand side. You'll also need to account for any worshippers sitting between you and the shooter. Once all hell breaks loose, people will be standing up and moving unpredictably... except for following the pew runs.
I'd suggest sitting on the far end so that you have instant egress from the pew, and you would be that much farther outside the shooter's line of sight (he'll most likely be aiming for the most densely-populated, target-rich area of the sanctuary
Awesome video! Thanks 👍
I hope this finds you well Ken . We met at the seminar in Coeur de Alene
And another Great drill Thx
You can’t miss fast enough to win a gun fight. Accuracy is final. It’s better to be accurate.
This is fantastic for mosques, too.
Great one!
great drill, thanks
👍👍 thanks for posting
Great drill...
If you are an old " Gun Guy" like Hackathorn and you carry a Glock. You've Already Lost your Soul.
Best Wishes! M.H.
I would really like to know where I can find a jacket like Ken is wearing here.
Get up and be the next one shot. Discreetly draw first, locate the target second and then move as appropriate. Don't "get up" while in the in the line of fire, dead sheep dogs are useless. Shooting from a seated or crouched position sends any head-shot pass-throughs up into the walls above the panic stricken crowd's heads. The general congregation should be taught to instinctively put their heads in their laps and or drop to the floor (play dead) at the sound of any gunfire.
"Teach" a congregation?
Simply no such thing as too much training. 👍
What do you do when someone kicks the door in children with small children present in the home?.
Wok Gees first off before that happens change out your hinge screws to 6 inch long on your entry doors
Wok Gees click on my logo hit me up
Nice!
SCAN for other threats after that might be in back of you?.. Like really look around to see as opposed to just look left and right?
I didn't hear the second beep at 5 seconds. Did Ken say at what distance the target was? I'd guess it between 5-7 yards.
Jedi Master
Was that a Wilson G19?
Very good Ken, Thanks for the drill. Do you recommend any ammo preference to minimize total penetration of the upper body. Not a time to poke holes front and back.
ALSO, Ammo choice may need to be changed , winter and summer or geographical location would you agree?
Your channel always has great and insightful information. Always looking out for the next video. But I have to say, I’m disappointed in this one. What is that in his hands? Doesn’t look like a 1911 to me.
What gun are you using?
can you show us this with the Israli method?
What kind of holster is that?
*Fast is fine. Accuracy is final*
IWB examples please.
Why no “church lady” (Dana Carvey) SNL parody. Does this mean we will see more attorneys in churches?
👍👍
Is that a Glock 19?
Ken recommends the G19 for Church Security ( he told me himself at a seminar)
It looked like it might be the g45. But hard to tell. After watching I got my g45 out. It sure looked awful close
All good, except sweeping the barrel behind your left hand, when drawing!
You must not be watching the same video I did.
Sound grandfatherly advice ...
Sorry Ken did not see this Video
Realistic practical simple drill. This is the way it should be done. Split second mag changes or short splits are irrelevant in this context.
For me to run this accurately, I’d have to wait until I’ve dozed off a bit. Lol
Why is he shooting a Glock on the Wilson Combat channel ??
Wilson Combat does customization on several gun platforms including GLOCK, Beretta and customer supplied 1911s. In this video I believe Mr. Hackathorn is running Gen 5 GLOCK 19 with a custom grip, sights, barrel and trigger.
Done all this training before there was a RUclips Instagram etc
You need to try the drill from a kneeling position.
Why on earth would you, at 2:44 take your eyes off the threat and look down at the ground? I can understand coming to the low ready position, but you NEVER take your eyes off the threat until you are sure it is over. Not a good move.
Today even when you go get a bottle of water at the local store it could be a life or death situation
A better tactic is to always seat the security members in the last row so no one is ever behind them.
These videos where the security guy likes to sit up front and has to turn around to identify the shooter are not giving the best advice.
at this church if ur looking for jesus, we gonna help u meet him! lol,,, in less than 5 seconds....
I was expecting a 1911 not a glock
Same drill off of a bar stool, Bar Security Drill
GLOCK...?!?!?!? 🤢
Sad sad world, we live in .... Sign of the times....So now, churches have become indoor ranges, so the front pews are set at the 3, 7, 10, 15 yard lines, the rest rooms are set at the 25 and 50 yard line, anything beyond, would place you in the parking lot.
I cannot believe you need security in churches, schools, and just about everywhere else. You have all these government departments from the NSA, to the FBI, and countless others and you just accept it without question?? The US really is sick.
Our sickness has a cure...good guys / gals with guns. Most of the rest of the "civilized" world has no such cure. They have to wait for the ER team to show up.
Interesting video, but with all the respect it's a bit sad to see an iconic figure of the 1911 world like Hackathorn using a GLOCK.
Nothing really wrong with a Glock no doubt his was worked on a little by the wizards at Wilson.
It is like Steve McQueen riding a Suzuki !
