Wiring Job And A Weld Job
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 26 сен 2024
- We headed up Poison Spider Trail to get a Jeep that stopped running the day before. Once up there Shawn noticed a wire harness that had been pinched by the front axle truss. So we repaired the wires and it fired right up. Then as we were coming down we met a SxS that had snapped a tie rod. So we quickly welded it up so they could drive it back down to the trailer. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

I’m with Shawn. I love Poison Spider.
I think I just realized one of my favorite things about this channel. No cr@ppy music. I’d rather listen to squeaks and rattles all day everyday.
if you like squeaks you wanna watch matts offroad with the big wrecker ) that thing runs on helium
That 4x4 amsr
I totally agree. Without the noises, we have no way to judge how difficult these trails are, we need to hear engines, tires, grinding, squeeks, winch grunting, and dad jokes etc.
Squeaky mater is more fun, for sure.
@@jaaremynicewander The original Trailmater has those special sounds that none of the others can emulate. It's truly alive in it's rocky landscape.
I love how Mike always manages to stop and admire the flowers and the beautiful skyline.
Matt's off road wrecker is a beautiful piece of engineering. The Fab Rats ratroad wrecker is a pretty refined square body. Trail Mater is a cobbled together pile of parts that just WORKS! I love that truck. Probably the most well thought out pile of parts on the planet. Rory, you got them all beat, hands down.
Trail mater and the trail mater. Crew and backup vehicles are in a class all their own miles and miles ahead of the rest.
Mad Max style. 😂
Its not fair . i was thinking the very same thing and was about to type it out and you got the drop on me on that one hahahaha.
Two completely different rigs designed for completely different use cases. If you listen to Rory and Matt talk, they’ll say exactly the same.
Trail mater rules !
This channel is just genuine, down to earth and entertaining. Please don't change as most other's have. The crew are one of the best. Thank you for bringing me along for the ride
Amen
Thanks, Mike, for taking the time to show us the flowers and rock formations. Always nice to see a bit of Mother Nature along with the welding and wiring.
Yes, even in the heat of recoveries and repairs Mike takes time to point out plants, animals and landforms. Shows his respect for the land.
you know why you make all jobs simple, because you have a great crew and always fun to watch, thanks from a vet.
Thank you for ur service sir🫡...
I also luv to watch this channel. U can learn alot for these guys...
A great very skilled and knowledgeable crew.
Don’t respond but how do you feel about California plates?
@@OjaiBonsaiI think those plates are kind of green 2 you know, like green backs?
Always a good day when there's a new Trail Mater video.
I like how the front dig avoids the Austin Powers thousand point turn.
You guys may sometimes play the country bumpkins, but your skill, decorum and attitude sets you apart. Trail ambassadors at its finest.
Shawn finding that wire pinch, epic!
Shawn hits it out of the park again!
I appreciate Rory making up for the lack of unnecessary front digs over the last few weeks all in one trip.
LOL, Love it when you do a front dig. Because I know it ticks others off, cause they can't do it.
Trail mater needs to step it up a notch and offer customers a trail-side wash and wax. Ha! The crew can seriously do about anything else on the trail. Awesome!
I like your rag tag crew.......I would fit in well with y'all. I like Shawn......he's always laughing. Love your videos
Trailmater is like one of those longhorn sheep you see on National Geographic. A toe hold on the impossible, then it’s up and over.
Nice! Gratuitous dig with flower closeup. Getting fancy!
You know guys one would think that all these ATV Companies can make a off wheeler that wouldn't break or have cheap parts. But the views and sights you enjoy each day is enough. Thanks guys
It amazes me that your truck takes such a beating on the trail yet it continues to serve you well.
I've lost interest in most of the related channels to this one but love Trail Mater. Just a couple of hilarious good guys having fun while helping people. Plus great scenery!
I feel the same way
And when I look back and think about it, almost everyone lost my attention when they put the invideo ADS sponsors are great, but I don't get paid to watch It.
Nothing but rocks and sand and in the middle ,a flower, nature is amazing.
So cool to bump into a friend of Eric at BSF way out in Utah. That guy is the OG off-road recovery RUclipsr.
Thanks to a veteran we can watch videos like this...Never forgotten! 😊😊❤
GOD bless those tough young MEN that share their lives with AMERICA. Thank all You VETERAN'S !
Hey everybody! Happy Memorial Day Weekend !!
On the porch with wife and dog watching Trail mater do work!
I hope everybody has an outstanding holiday weekend and remembers all the souls that have been lost to get us here.
Great video and I always wait for the outtakes at the end which are always worth watching 😂
I have to say that I am jealous, I spent 32 years working in a factory for Ford, retired then decided to drive a school bus for 12 years. The closest thing that I came to doing what you guys are doing is being a party leader for a hunting party at a controlled hunt at a military base in my state for over twenty years. It was fun and I met a lot of nice individuals!
Even after the years of watching, listening and learning, it is always fresh and interesting.
From wiring to welding, you guys do wonderful work for the weekend warriors out wheeling, Wow!
Cool seeing some of Eric's friends on the trail!
Rory, you have created a great team. Skilled, happy and reliable. Thanks for the videos.
Same as always good times, laughter, shenanigans, doing the repairs, great shots of the landscape and the fact that even in that environment beautiful flora grows. Thanks for the video.
You guys are the best for finding the problem and getting people back to having fun ☺️. Great teamwork everyone.
Once again, y'all saved a weekend adventure for some folks!!!!!
Rory, Shawn and WisconsinMike are definitely one of the most upbeat recovery teams!!!
Hope everyone enjoys this Memorial Weekend, and be sure to take a moment to acknowledge those who gave the ultimate sacrifice 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Safe travels, friends ❤❤

Man you guys troubleshoot, repair and recover on the fly. Only seasoned pros with tons of experience can make this look easy.
Trail Mater team for the win !,
Shawn has magic tricks.
Ohh look an arch. tiny but... still the only arch for Mike to wonder about in the moment, in the middle of nowhere. love it, the nature along shots. thanks 👌
The pure joy in that laugh at :30ish. Love it!
Can’t wait to start seeing the pacer build videos. I remember the best line ever spoken.. Before Tacoma there was just camping. 😂😂😂
Nice eyeballing the wire damage. Easy fix. A little welding and everyone is back on the trail.
Yeaaaaa, new video Saturday!!!
Two quick trail repairs and everybody is back playing in the rocks!
Mr. Trail Mater alway's getting the job done while stretching his leafs and barking his tires..
I just love how you guys have fun but get the job done and work so well together great videos keep them up
Well look at that Shawn found the problem with Sally and got the fuel pump running. The customer drove Sally out! Rory did trail repair and welded a side by side torque tube and got it out! Good video and pretty country!
Rory and the crew for the win AGAIN ! be safe this long weekend.
Thank you Rory , Shawn and Mike for the adventure , seeing some amazing scenery and amazing recoveries ! I Rory it is awesome to see you and the crew stopping and giving helpful advice to people that are trying out the trails but a little unsure about things !
Have a happy and safe memorial day. Thank a vet
It's a great day when the Trailmater crew goes to do one job and gets another on the way back. This is also the Tourist season and "shit" happens!
"LS Whisperer" lol. nice.
It's always amazing to watch the videos of Trail Mater, but every time i see Wile E. Coyote i think it's time to change the tyres from the left to the right side and vice versa, before the tyres burst at the outer side.
What a great video. We appreciate Mike pointing out which landmark is where.
See you guys in September, we’re buying you guys lunch!
😆 I'M A WELDER, that's a grinder 😆🤣😂
A wittle wadda 😂
Love the humor!
Thanks guys!
I like the fact that a job is not DUN until the cause has been determined and eliminated!
Well done Shawn on spotting the chopped wire, great catch!
I really enjoy having my morning coffee with watching your latest vid. Thank you.
"You do the best ya can with what whatchya got and sometimes ya just GET OUT OF THE WAY!" 😂 -Mike.
Love the team work between Rory, Mike and Shawn. They are great. The respect and love for the sport shines through the camera, cannot be faked. Thanks for sharing.
I wish I had as much fun at my job as you guys do on yours!
With 2 kinds of welders and portable power supply, I'm surprised you don't have a soldering iron for that kind of fix. Great scenery work! Love it. 😊
I could watch this all day every day. I wish there was a Trail Mater only channel...Oh wait........ Trail Mater 😍 Just love that Chevy. I'm going to Moab to brake down and call Rory just to see Mater in action first hand! lol
That trail really showcases the capabilities of Trail Mater.
Wish more new people that dive into wheeling would trust driving with two feet ! Makes it easier for them
Happy early Memorial Day I hope you guys have a great weekend.
I respect how you take the time to help people and take care of things before they become a problem
Trail Mater gets better looking every episode ...... OOOOOGGAAAA
Great video!! Loved all the trail shots. Went to save one and ended up saving two!! Good work guys!! Always a pleasure to go along on your adventures out into Gods country. Beautiful scenery and a good time!!!
Good eyes to catch all those issues! You guys are awesome!!
Eagle eye Shawn that’s two great electrical issues! 🦅 fly 😂
Mike, thanks for the amazing visuals, you are the best!
Welp, as of today I am officially caught up on 7 months worth of Trail Mater videos! *gasp.... ;)
When I have extra time and don't see anything else. That sparks my interest. I go back to the very beginning and just start rewatching.
Thanks for the beautiful Sunday morning virtual scenic drive.
Very refreshing and relaxing.
Beautiful spot to break down
Shawn is now known as "the Jeep whisperer" 🤣
9:02 that lifted mini van with hwy tires getting up that obstacle was impressive
Mini van? Not even close
"Future business"
I’ve been watching you guys for long while now, and all I have to say is You Guys Are Awesome!!!!
Congrats on your success. Keep pushing. Crazy to think of how far you have come as a content creator. You would never know you were once a man of few words on camera. 😂😂
Pure facts right here
Sunday morning, coffee, full English breakfast, Trail Mater, life is good!
Thanks for showing the Land Cruiser can go someplace besides the mall! Did pretty good for 6,000+ pounds.
Getting paid to go wheeling is bonus time. You always make it look easy. ❤❤
Perfect job for a sacrificial 9mm wrench, lol. Keep a few on hand. Matt does.
Another awesome video from the TM crew.
I’m wishing everyone a safe and fantastic Memorial Day weekend as we honor those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
Amen
I love the driveline footage, watching that dana 60 doin what it does best
That’s a good looking pair of landcruisers!
you guys crack me up and your skills are a little better than your humor...like steel panther......talented and funny.........thanks guys
You know how it's springtime and Moab all the recoveries.
Thanks trailmater great video
I loved Mike' comment; You do the best with what you got, then sometimes you just get out of the way... 😆
Looked likw a great day. Thanks for sharing
Truly enjoy watching you guys 😜. Keep having fun 😁.
Trail Mater is something out of "Mad Max"....
Nice, found the problem and fixed it, then the bonus welding repair. Thanks guys.
When you know it spring when the temperature starts to climb in the 20
Maybe 100 subscribers will send Rory some wire terminal plyers like sending 100 tape measures to Paul Fab Rats 😂
Look - a widdle wadda!
I laughed much too hard at this....
Waiting for the first overland elevator to reach the roof top tents.
Trail Mater videos are always class 1 🙂
greetings from the "driftless area". you guys are #1. 👍👍
You're good people. 👍
If there is a potential problem, MOAB will find it!
Great work and good laughs
I suspect the ideal setup would be to put the vehicle on a lift, take out the springs, and manually move the suspension in each corner from full droop to full compression- and see where it gets close to anything important. Obvs, this doesn't allow for any give in the rubber bushings, but i should give a reasonable idea of where you may end up with unintentional contact - especially if you allow a half inch or so between components where you can.
This was a fun Sat. watch.
