Not sure why people would tell you not to listen to micro cuts, it's very different but it's an insane show of vocal talent by matt. The drummer is called Dominic Howard, and the bassist is called Chris wolstenholme
To be clear, I recommended that he wait a while before trying Microcuts because a lot of people who are new to Muse try it as their 3rd or 4th song and end up being like WTF? Now that he's heard Butterflies and Hurricanes and loved it, I think he might be ready.
What to say about Micro cuts except it's GENIUS! Of course, I could see how someone who don't know Muse at all could find it strange but nonetheless, it IS genius 💜
i've heard someone call micro cuts a "demented opera" and i think that describes it almost perfectly. i listened to it pretty early on in my muse discovery and loved it (it's one of my favorite songs!) but i understand how it could be jarring for another person
Absolutely check out Micro Cuts both live and studio, vocals there are absolutely insane. Plus check out Fury and Exo-Politics, they really really deserve it :)
I remember commenting on an earlier video that Micro Cuts isn't something to jump into right away, but at this point I think you know what to expect, you seem to love Muse as much as the rest of us, so at this point--GO FOR IT! It's one of my all-time favourites, it's just not something I'd recommend to a first-time listener because of how insane it is. Please do it next week!
Great reaction, you should check out any muse song, whoever tells you to not check out micro cuts ain't real muse fans, cnt wait for more muse reactions :)
Also Markus ... Mr Bellamy is classically trained Pianist .. On the names You Have Matt Bellamy , Dominic Howard ( Drums ) and Chris Wolstenholme Bass and Backing Vocals
I'll never understand how matt can take off his guitar, hand it to someone, go to the piano and get comfortable in a couple seconds, seriously does he have 2 matts Also I really agree chris's vocals are so good and he's probably one of the best rock bassists, dom's vocals are also great the few times we hear them (supermassive black hole live at the end of the chorus and the globalist)

@@joshuawiedenbeck6944 this. I'm pretty sure I recommended the same thing
That was one of my 15 Muse concerts, nice reaction. I'd recommend Fury at The Royal Albert Hall.

I know Muse very well, have been my favourite band for over 20 years and I still don’t like Micro Cuts, it’s just down to personal taste.

I love Chris' backing vocals in this song
I personally love the harmonies during the "best" at 4:42
Always replay that part, it is just so pleasing.
Thanks for the reaction to Muse. Muse fans love it.

Who the hell would be crazy enough to not recommend you Micro Cuts?!
They haven't specifically said not to listen to it they've just recommended that I check the song out a little later
@@markusfx978 I think that was me... I'd say you're ready for it at this point :)

He wave his voice as it should be really done, going with the flow of song. His notes follow the song and not separate from it.
Minute 07:28: Matt starts playing a piece of Rachmaninoff, Prelude in G minor.
