What I like about your videos is that they're not some big crazy production, like some of the others do. It's just you and the camera, no flashy editing or green-screened background. It feels candid and honest, and you actually have decent things to say about the music. I think in this saturated genre, people are a bit craving that more down-to-earth feel. That, and Muse reactions are basically 100% guaranteed to get you an audience regardless. :P
Wow thank you so much, I absolutely love doing these reactions and I'm shocked at the amount of positive reception I'm getting with each video and it's supportive comments like yours as well as many others that really give me the motivation to make more reactions like these :))
Matt is indeed the king of ‘random noises’ on his guitar. A lot of sounds he never repeats again. The guy is a genius…he has music flowing though his veins.
Those random noises comes from the MIDI touch pad built into his amazing custom guitar! He uses it to create and manipulate digital sound effects. Plus his guitar is equipped a kill switch, a fuzz pedal and a sustainer pickup to create those never ending notes and feedback! Im enjoying your vids btw. Keep it up!
For muse songs with fantastic bass I'd recommend hysteria live at wembley, time is running out at Glastonbury either 2004 or 2010, hyper music at pinkpop and darkshines at hullabaloo
MORE MUSE PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!! You earned a new sub! Here are some fan fav suggestions- Muse Showbiz ( Live 2000 NPA France), Butterflies & Hurricanes (live Wembley Stadium), Survival( Live 2012 Olympics), Citizen Erased( live Glastonbury 2004) All are killer, mind blowing, ABSOLUTE BAGNERS!!!
Great reaction! You haven't even scratched the surface of their amazing live performances, check these out if you want sometime: Knights of Cydonia - Rome Olympic stadium 2013 Small print - earls court 2004 Bliss - live 8 2005 And almost anything from Glastonbury 2004
I love your Muse videos! 0:35 thats a great idea. It would be awesome starting the week with Muse and you! -Pls. React to Butterflies AND hurricanes , you will love It! Saludos!!! ✨🇲🇽 ✨🇳🇿✨
I'm here for the Muse journey... they were at a point in time the best and I do mean the BEST band in the world! I was in that crowd (been fortunate enough to see them live several times), I went from Portugal to London specifically to attend this show! (I got to stay a week to visit London because it would be madness not to do it but I went there because of the show!) My favorite song of all time is one of their songs that I recommend you react to, it's a more under the radar music but it's an amazing song, all the rhythm changes, the lyrics, the name of the song even!! DarkShines... react to it! :) And king of multitasking you say... then also react to Butterflies & Hurricanes also in this Wembley show!! Amazing!
As some have mentioned, Hysteria has a great bassline (considered one of the best in Rock history) . I'd go for the one in Wembley ☺️ One of my favourite performances of any of their songs is Bliss, @ Live 8 in case you want to check it. Great reaction!
Everyone reacts to Hullabaloo versions of songs. I've not seen anyone react to the Wembley one which I think is the best they have ever performed that song instrumentally and vocally nailed it. Its not rough round the edges like the Hullabaloo version
@@chrisburgess2432 It might be technically cleaner, but if we're going to clean we might as well tell him to listen to the studio version. I'll be happy whichever he decides to do, though.
If you want what is for most of the people the greatest Muse bass line check the live version of Hysteria it's insane ! Also great reaction loved your video
As a few have mentioned Hysteria has a great bass line. I think you would like citizen erased (live hullabaloo), micro cuts(live hullabaloo) and I also think you would enjoy Invincible live at Wembley.
bliss live 8 or live at reading 2006 would be fantastic to see his high voice, butterflies and hurricanes (wembley) or space dementia for good piano and showbiz or muscle museum for great darkness. Love your reactions, keep it up
A lot of folks will put a big water mark over the video, or drop the opacity down or flip the video so it’s backwards to help with it not getting blocked. Hope that helps!
Another great reaction! Love your genuine awe at how ridiculously talented these 3 are😂 Mindblowing🤯 So glad you listened to our comments, this is my favourite performance of one of my favourite Muse tracks!!! I just love how into it they get and that knee slide at the beginning!!!!!! I’m loving the idea of Muse Monday! Suggestions: The Small print live at Earls Court 2004, Showbiz live at Glastonbury 2000, Plug in Baby live at Eurockeennes 2000 or Live at Rome Olympic Stadium, 2 very different performances, personally I prefer the 2000 version, but both awesome 🤘🏻❤️
The dear old New Born from 2001 (2002 for this live performance). Always great to hear it For hear Matt showing all his vocalist skills I suggest ya to listen Micro Cuts live from Hullabaloo Also I suggest ya to check out Citizen Erased live from 2007 (my fave ever along with Stockholm Syndrome, Hysteria, Showbiz and Bliss), Showbiz live from 2000 and also Bliss live from 2015 Also ya want to try check out and react to someone else too? Try checking out Left of You and King Vultures by Jay Ray, ya would be literally the first one in the world to that :)
See Muse live mate - just do it. I've seen them 3 times so far here in Oz and they super good. Live in Rome is a good one to pick songs from if you want the top notch audio production - Knights of Cydonia, Plug In Baby, Hysteria ... all of it really :) Having said that - it's all good, you can't really miss with any of the live stuff from any era.
Hey Markus. I’m really enjoying your Muse reaction videos. One of my favorite live performances of theirs is at Glastonbury festival where they perform showbiz very early in their career. You can just tell that they love what they’re doing and they go a little wild at the end which is half the fun. Check it out if you wanna.
Oh! I forgot. I'm Spanish. Despite I've got the C1 English level certificate, sometimes I like writing my comments in Spanish. I hope it isn't a problem. Regards.
then rather than recommend a song in particular for you to check out i'll recommend you live shows of particular importance. -Bizarre 1999/Astoria 2000/Eurockennes 2000 for the early days and the Showbiz tour -Live at La Zenith 2001 (the live album contained in the Hullabaloo CD) for the Origin of Symmetry era -Earl's Court 2004 and Glastonbury 2004 for the Absolution Tour -H.A.A.R.P. (live album taken at Wembley Stadium in 2007 where this performance of New Born is from) -Glastonbury 2010, Wembley 2010 and Reading/Leeds 2011 (in which they played the entirety of Origin of Symmetry) for The Resistance era -Live at Rome Olympic Stadium (live album from 2013) and Sheperd's Bush Empire 2013 for The 2nd Law era -Mayan Theater 2015 (particularly for the performance of Assassin) and Glastonbury 2016 (and the Drones World Tour live album) for the Drones era -Simulation Theory Film (live album with some original movie scenes) for the Simulation Theory era.
U need to react to hysteria, great base line straight away hits u in the face, all there songs are great, u need to ride the muse train :) yes especially live, even there electronic stuff is great, u should listen to the handler by muse aswel :)

Very true.

You're not ready for Butterflies & Hurricanes from the same show

Citizen erased live hullabaloo, you can thank me later 👍
Another great reaction. Micro cuts live from Wembley will blow you away if you like his highs
Hullabaloo >>>
Definitely prefer the Hullabaloo version myself

I was there for that. I remember them falling on top of each other comically and then having difficulty pushing over the drum kit at the end.
@@chrismartin2663 exactly. They are goofballs and brothers and I’m here for it

Stockholm syndrome live at Wembley
This song is great but this isn't the best version of it IMO. Kinda slow and the mix feels a bit empty. The one at Glastonbury 2004 is the apex.
