If you want to go down the Muse rabbit hole it would help to understand what way you want to go. They do heavy songs, they do symphonys, they do love songs, pop songs, songs about death, about life, songs that will make you jump around, songs that will make you cry yourself to sleep. They are all incredibly talented and write music they want to write regardless of genre or preconceptions about them. They are also better live than recorded, if you can believe that. They are truly one of the best bands of all time in terms of their dedication to their craft, the amount they put into song writing and performing, their experementation.

I read that Bellamy wrote this for his fiancee at the time, which makes the inclusion of the aria that much more beautiful to me. I imagine him touring the world and yearning to be with her. That yearning feels so strong in both parts. You don't feel emotions like that in many songs these days.

Thank you so much for this review! I listened to this lp for about a year straight on repeat just trying to understand it when it came out. Phenomenal record.
There’s a version of the song Micro Cuts on the HAARP live album/DVD that I highly recommend. Also, Falling Down off of the Showbiz lp is a vocal masterpiece for the pain and struggle you hear in Matt’s voice, not live though. It’s not necessarily virtuosic in any way, just beautifully gut wrenching.
You made a lot of people very happy with this video.

Brilliant reaction. I am a hugeeee Muse fan, you have so much to explore with this band.
Over their albums they have written so many different styles of music, but if this is your thing and you like the more classical element (Matt Bellamy is a fantastic composer) then I would highly recommend listening to Exogenisis symphony. It's is split in to three parts but listened too together it's just incredible!!! All very classically influenced with superb orchestral melodies and stunning vocals from Matt!!
The three parts together make it around 15 minutes long but I know you have reacted lots to nightwish so I'm sure you won't mind that 😂

Muse are the masters at honoring Classic music an incorporating it to their own style and music, I hope you dive in more, in your case I'd stick to studio versions...Don't get me wrong they're better live but for us fans who enjoy their rock live sound but studio versions are what the original song is intended to sound and is great too.
Edit: Matt's mom is an opera singer if I'm not mistaken, so he is very acquainted with Opera and classical music.

Oh, how brilliant you found Muse through this song. Your life will be happier from now on ... they have nine studio albums now and you got a song from their fifth one, The Resistance. I'd recommend you to just listen to this masterpiece of an album as a whole. It has a whole three-piece symphony on it, and I think it has the most references to classical music. Matthew Bellamy, the singer, is also the songwriter, pianist and guitarist. The bassist, Chris Wolstenholme, and the drummer, Dominic Howard, are outstanding musicians, too. They've been making me happy ever since I heard them for the first time 22/23 years ago. (The song was called Unintended, also just ❤❤❤)
They do various styles of music, each album has a slightly or very different sound from the others. Hope you're gonna love them!

Dear Bethany. I saw your videos for the first time only today and I am sure that you are not only a beautiful girl but also a good coach. But after watching the playlist on your channel I didn't see one great artist there. (I'm sorry for the mistakes, it's not my native language) Please make an analysis of Polina Gagarina - Raindrops & Lullaby or Polina Gagarina - Kukushka (it is from the song contest from China) It won't go away without tears but I'm sure you'll like it.

    Hi there ✌️😎
    Greetings from germany!
I just saw your child in time vid and yes, deep purple is amazing! And your vid was really cool about it!
As a guitar player i know some good rare tracks
you should listen and maybe react to them. 😄😊
Some guitarplayers dont have a beautyful voice and get a little help sometimes. With great results!
A good example for that is jeff beck. Never heard him singing but oh my god his guitar does!
You will see in my choises there are allways great guitars within 😅😅
Ok lets start with some ideas!
I bet you know 'pink floyd - a great gig in the sky"
That track ist the absolute masterclass of voice.
Not a single word in it, just used as a clean instrument. incredible voice job!
I reccoment the version of 1994 earls court london.
And maybe you know joss stone.
But i think her best moments was at
"jeff beck live at ronnie scotts" for example the classic "i put a spell on you" and the studio album track "theres no othe me".
Her voice explodes on that traxks! Really amazing!
And as a third track a little hidden voice that maybe
    not much peaple know.
But "imelda may" ist absolute outstanding with her
Bluesy jazzy voice. Please try her track feat jeff beck "remember me" oh god that voice is so impressive!
Ok 😄😊 hope you recognize this comment and maybe you know or like the songs i named.
Have fun and maybe see your react to these great songs! ✌️😎
Oh.. and if you are allready on the "live at ronnie scotts" vid, what do you say to "imogen heap - blanket" version with jeff beck?😄

I feel you would love Verona by muse .my take away from it was the story of romeo and juliet under the context of living under lockdown and the forbidden love wear by people were unable to see loved ones with hints of 1984 and the forbidden love that the state outlawed. Definately check out a live performace version ..its so deeply moving ❤. Great reaction by the way. Your enjoyment was tangible

Could I recommend the album Paranoid and Sunburnt by Skunk Anansie.
Your choice as to which you analyse. I'd just like to help spread her talents to another generation lol.
South London band from the mid nineties, rock/punk if I had to pigeonhole them, but their singer, Skin, is phenomenal in range both in terms of vocal sound and range, but also diversity of style and command of her instrument (her voice). She can go from light and breathy to full on 100% aggression in an instant, and the band is a tight unified unit. I recommend the album rather than a specific track, because some tracks are more evocative than others, but they're not necessarily the same tracks that showcase her talent to the maximum.
Weak, Intellectualise my blackness, 100 ways to be a good girl, Little baby swastika and All in the name of pity, are probably the five that showcase her vocals best.

Thank you for this video! Muse is such an excellent band! As you said, in Muse songs, you can find different genres mixed together to create a new musical identity, while respecting the original genres (sorry for my poor english, i hope you can understand). Yes, Matt is a wonderful artist, and he plays the piano himself (not the best sound here but you can see him playing : ruclips.net/video/jDF4jvftI_w/видео.htmlfeature=shared). As someone else already said, I think you would appreciate this too : ruclips.net/video/KNJYBOj7Cfc/видео.htmlfeature=shared (just perfect to me). And Butterflies and Hurricanes, Space Dementia, Sing for absolution, Exogenesis (3 parts),.... You can even find Chopin's "Ocean" in Blockades in a totally different style! (ruclips.net/video/8muGWOjNoSo/видео.htmlfeature=shared). OK, I have to stop! Have a nice day!
