  • In this video we demonstrate a Flaps/Slats Locked with WTB. We manage the aircraft with the principles Aviate, Navigate, Communicate and troubleshoot to get the aircraft to land!

    According to manual procedures , AP must be off below 500 feet. Why autoland ?

      Yes, but we wanted to demonstrate that the A/P can land even with this configuration

    I just came across you channel and watched some of your videos. Would have been way better if you can do all in proper procedures and correct sequence as per FCOM handling ECAM & emergencies as it can be misleading. Just my two cents✌

    Hey Captain, can you explain what is wingtip breaker?

      in summary, WTB are activated in case of asymmetry, mechanism overspeed and a few other cases. They lock the flaps and slats in position and can only be de-activated through engineering maintenance.

      A320 has an auto pitch trim, if that fails then you have the trim wheels on either side of the throttle. You can see the video of using it to land in the following video: ruclips.net/video/vv3gVGlqlY8/видео.htmlsi=thr2WKOq0vFMokVv
