I honestly think Capcom will do this remake with so much love and care. They know how loved this game is, and know they have big shoes to fill. I know there will be a few things that not all will like, but overall, I think they will rock this. I can't wait for it to arrive!
I do wish we could’ve gotten Leon’s original knife. Maybe it will still appear, but I hate the model that they use from resident evil two, three, and briefly in eight. I’ve noticed that between resident evil seven through resident evil Village, Capcom has gotten kind of lazy with reusing assets instead of building new models for things.
- Expect stuff to change. RE2 and RE3 remakes both changed. Some good, some bad. - The parry mechanic seems great. If you're good at perfect parries, you deserve to be OP. - Leon not being a superhero is something I'm really looking forward to. It was ridiculous. The remake of 4 is shaping up to be better than the original for me!
what i find weird is the person narrating says "you dont have to hold a button to parry its timing based". ive never heard of a game which lets you parry by holding a button. its almost always (almost because i dont know if its absolutely true or not) a timed tap
@@DSkulle1 I think in the original Fable there is a parry system where you just hold down one button. I feel like theres prob more sword fighting games that do it, but sometimes games use "parry" + "block" interchangeably.

Well I don't like that both re2 and re3 remakes had a lot of cut content and wasn't faithful to the originals, especially 3 more than 2. And they are very short, especially 3 more than 2. But still both of them are fun games to play, remake of 4 will probably be like that too. I just hope it has a lot of replay value, I don't mind a short campaign if it has a lot of replay value. And no I don't count difficult to unlock achievements as contributing factor to replay value.

Another thing I’d REALLY like to see, at the end of the first Krauser fight, Leon picks up his knife once Krauser leaves, I SERIOUSLY hope we get to use his knife once we pick it up, seeing as how Leon’s knife is an actual inventory item, I figure they could do the same thing with Krauser’s knife and it can maybe have more durability or something, or you can attack faster with it when compared to the normal knife.

I mean, a complete overhaul of the knife just for a boss fight? I think they’ve also added it for the stealth mechanic. To sneak up behind enemies.
It would be cool if certain areas were slightly bigger to allow for the choice of stealth or direct action depending on player preference.
