    A doctor once told me that when you eat, there is only about 15 seconds of pleasure, and after that, your stomach doesn’t really care what you put in it! So, choose to satisfy your tummy and not your tastebuds!! That helped me a lot to hear that! So glad you had a great trip!!

    I love these carnivore update videos! I did keto for a few years a lost 25 lbs but over the past 2 years gained 15 back. I started carnivore March 5th and I am down 11 pounds. I am feeling so much better. Carnivore is so simple and I don't have any food cravings and many days I only eat 2 meals. I feel even better than I did when I was doing keto. Thank you for your inspiration!

    Lisa there is no way that I can thank you enough. I watched a video about your diet over a year ago and I decided I would just try it to see how it went.
    Weight loss was a great perk but they way I feel is SO much better.
    I can’t even express how life changing this has been for me.

    This was so inspiring Lisa. I love hearing about your diet. Also I would like to say, the way you think is so much how I think. Not fitting in would be a wonderful video for those of us that " don't fit in" and how to overcome that feeling and know that is ok...💖

    WOW, I experience the bathroom issue EVERY time I travel. I even take fiber daily and there's still an issue. Glad to know it's normal and others have this problem as well!

    I’ve always felt like the person on the outside for many reasons (I may have one alcoholic drink a year) but I think that age and life experience and maturity helps us prioritize what matters to us- Which enables us to live more authentic to who we truly are. When we’re younger, we tend to get cautious in people pleasing. Just my thoughts… Loved every second of your video BTW!! Xoxo Melody

    Thank you for being so real! I’m in my first month of carnivore eating as I’ve found inflammation is caused for me by so many foods others think are so healthy. My body feels bloated after eating vegetables. I’ve realized it’s either the flour or sugar causing my face to breakout at my age 65.
    Already all swelling/inflammation has drained significantly as my fingers, hands no longer swollen 😊❤. My face has cleared up 😊❤and I look forward to what other benefits I will be blessed with. And thank you for the reminder to talk kind to myself as I adjust to this new rewarding way of eating 😊❤

    Oh, LIsa! I am sending you a virtual hug! You are always so very open, honest and kind. You often make me crack up out loud with some of the things you say, lol! You probably don't remember, but I have suffered w/IBS-D for over 25 years. It is often debilitating and can really dictate how you live your every day life. I cannot tell you how many time over the years I have eaten something that I KNOW will cause a flare-up and I eat it anyway! Then I get ticked off because those bad foods had such a hold on me! It is a cycle that has to be stopped....for me. You are SO right when you say stress is a trigger. When I have stress w/IBS and I have a flare-up it then goes directly to my lower back. Double whammy! I'm sorry I wrote a little novel, lol! Thanks so much for this video. Hugs

    Lisa I definitely agree about the feeling of not fitting in, sometimes I really struggle with it, I think I do really worry about what people think and I know I shouldn’t. In south Australia at the moment it’s meant to be Autumn but we are still getting quite warm weather….not complaining I love it 😊. Lots of love xx

    Hello Lisa. I just have to say when you’ve been so miserable it’s almost weird to feel so good. I spent years eating those things that made me sick like gluten, till I felt so good I didn’t want to feel like that anymore. The weight the bloat the bathroom situations, lol. I’m so glad I’m finally putting myself first!!!! Love when you talk health!

    Its ok to be you and not where everyone else is. Our journey is much different from others and its okay! We have to remind ourselves to be kind to others and not break others down or pick out all the differences.

    Been on carnivore for 3 and a half weeks now. Coming from a 85% fruit, vegetables, beans, nuts diet..so high carbs, low fat, low calorie. Always hungry, always craving, always finding myself staring into the fridge like an idiot every 20 minutes. Now I’m just never hungry! Flew from Ohio to FLORIDA to check on our condo. Didn’t eat breakfast before my morning flight..wasn’t hungry. Arrived at 11 am, not hungry. On the tennis courts at 1:30 till 3. Friends called at 4 invited me to dinner wasn’t hungry and realized I hadn’t eaten all day! I’m loving this. Yes, went to dinner, nice filet mignon. Even as a guy, I love your channel Lisa. You are so sweet and down to earth and relatable.

    Hi Lisa, great video… I’m doing carnivore also and feel great. I’ve only been doing it for 1 month but have lost weight and truly feel better and have more energy. I love a piece of good cheddar cheese as a snack when I’m feeling a craving. Also make a lot of steaks, hamburger patties, organic chicken, shrimp, salmon, and don’t miss the carbs as much. Love hearing your success with your gut. I don’t have that problem but I needed to change my way of eating.

    I use to love salad so recently started trying to eat them again & I've been in so much pain & bloated since that I have decided to not eat them anymore. Praying meat works better for me

    Lisa I love the videos when you talk about what you're eating. Even though its the same foods repeatedly, like myself being keto, I still love to hear about it and talk about it to my mom which is sick of hearing my new lifestyle. lol And I realize you don't want to make anyone feel bad but that's totally on them, not you. This is YOUR channel and YOUR body and you can say anything you want and not have to explain to those that disagree. You inspired me last summer to make major changes because of what menopause did to my belly. It took a short 5 months to fix it and now after only 9 months, I'm 10 pounds below my goal weight and I feel amazing! Thanks to you for inspiring me!! xo

    “I am not dependent on things to make me happy because I am happy within myself” This!!! I think this applies to everyone. They are trying to find other ways to achieve happiness around them. When really the problem is they’re listening to the noise around them which is causing them to make wrong food choices. Commercials, ads, news, people. They’re also ignoring what their body is telling them never thinking it’s related to food. Self awareness it’s everything. I think this could make a good video.

    Unless a person has had to worry about where the bathroom is, or if there is one available, they will never understand how important it is for us to get our diet right. I've lived with IBS for several years. Some days, just trying to get out of the house to get to work on time was a struggle. I would have to call in sick on many days because I was so sick with the IBS. So, I completely get what you are expressing. I've started Keto and I am feeling much less bloated. I can see myself transitioning to Carnivore if the few vegetables start to impede my success! You look awesome! I'm really enjoying this journey.

    I identify with the mom who didn't show up to events. I've had IBS over 20 years. Even clients know I have "bathroom issues" so I have to rebook. I can't wait to feel better. I'm having a hard time transitioning into keto then carnivore possibly.

    Lisa is what helped me make my life change and eat ketovore.!! I was a very sick in so many ways. 🤧 I am 10 weeks eating correctly and I tell you, I am truly a totally different person. Not to mention I have lost 25 lbs. All you can do is try and learn 1 ingredient food. Thank goodness I can eat veggies also. My hubby of 40 years saw such a difference that he is now ketovore and just went to Dr visit. He lost 15 lbs in 1 month. Thank you Lisa for sharing. God bless all.

    Lisa, no worries. I was strict keto for 3 years. My husband and I have a group of friends and we all go out to dinners, show, vacations and I just did my thing. I didn't care .I had my steak, fish or chicken. No bread that was on the table , nor did I have the dessert and nor did i want it. You lose that sugar craving after a while. I went to yankee games , vacations and no matter where you go, there is always something you can eat. I would get my Starbucks with heavy cream. I never felt deprived. Ever. And I even was proud of myself. Your way of eating is a bit stricter than keto. But when you see the mental and physical benefits, it's all worth it. These days I am more low carb than strict keto. I keep saying gonna deep dive in again, just not ready for that commitment yet. But I do see the difference in my clarity, sleep and my energy. So I need to get back on track. As far as a snack to pack, you can buy Monterey jack cheese thin sliced. Put them on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and cut each slice in four.. Throw them in the oven I think on 300. Let them crisp up until dark orange . They will almost look like a cheese it. Take them out to cool. There ya go. Crunchy delish 0 carb crackers. If they are not crunchy then give it a few more minutes. They are so good. You can do it with any sliced cheese really. . I make them all the time and they stay crispy in a little zip lock bag for days. They also sell grass fead little meat sticks. I get the big bag at Costco. Those are good things you can bring for snacking and they will fill you because of the protein. Best thing about keto really was I went the entire day without eating many times. I just wasn't hungrey. So fasting is perfect during travel too.

    Love the update. You can do anything with the right mind set! And I so get what you mean about it being cold. I watched this a week after you posted it and it is STILL cold South Arkansas early in the morning and at night. I am sooooo weary of cold weather!!! Bring on the sun and heat!

    Hi Lisa I’m glad you had a good time here. I agree with the feeling of not quite fitting in, as we age…who cares. I love starting my day counting my blessings from the moment my two feet touch the ground. I am doing low carb and for me it works. I do feel like my thoughts are so much clearer.

    Love this video! I admire you’re courage and strength to travel with issues of IBS! I have IBS-D. Stress is a huge factor…flying with one bathroom in air is so scary to me. I can eat what does not irritate me, but that stress level knowing if I had an attack on that plane makes my IBS go crazy. I am so happy you’re trip was so good!!!

    So glad you found good things to eat while away! You are so right nothing taste as good as how you feel not eating those bad things it’s just not worth it and I still remember having that bloated fatigued feeling ugh I never want to feel that again and that’s what I keep in my mind when I know I’m going to be around food that I know looks good but would make me feel bad ! It’s really mind over matter and we are stronger than we give ourselves credit for sometimes!

    I went to Dallas 4 hours away from us this weekend and it was my first trip since Carnivore. Im so proud of myself for sticking to it. Came back 3 pounds down lol. I walked a lot though.😊

    This was such a good and encouraging story! Thank your for sharing! We are vacationing in Hilton Head next month and I'd love to hear your thoughts on "not fitting in". it might help me to refrain my wine and nut consumption. I may not need it for this trip but we'll be doing a lot more air travel once they officially lift the mask mandate and I'll need all the help I can get before then! 💕

    When I eat a carnivore diet I lose weight easily but I feel dead inside, so I can’t stay on it for too long.

    Off topic, but I was just watching yours and Tammy's FL haul video from 2018 again as it came up on the page, and as we know Tammy has the most gorgeous hair, and so do you! But what a difference in the thickness of your hair since then, as well as the length. You used to say you don't have Tammy hair, but now you do! I've improved my hair by much less washing, much less heat, only 1-2 times per week, but it's still a struggle, even though it looks 100% better than it used to look. I can only dream to have half the hair you do, lol. Things I've found that help apart from those things, is little to no hairspray, as it breaks your hair when you brush it through, good mask treatments, and Paul Mitchell's Skinny Serum, which I put it my hair at night and brush through. It calms frizz but doesn't leave your hair greasy in the morning. It really adds moisture back into the hair, but lives up to its name as a skinny serum. Let me know if you get around to trying it. BTW, I've now ordered the 40 and 50 in the Chanel Vitaluminaire Aqua foundation, which I will be mixing with the 10 and the 20 LOL. I'll eventually get the color right! How did you like it?

    Fitting-in is so over-rated🤪. Feeling good lasts longer than any meal or snack that disrupts your tummy or any negative comment or look. I’ve had people say “ won’t it be rude if you don’t eat what everyone else is”? I say “wouldn’t it be rude for someone to comment when I draw no attention to it and simply do what is physically best for me?” Guess peer pressure doesn’t end in high school 😊. I respect your commitment, Lisa.

    Hi Lisa: I being a viewer of your channel for a year now and absolutely love your sophisticated style, make up choices and lifestyle/wellness/motivational videos. I am with you 100% regarding Olapkex. I had my hair dyed platinum blonde. Supposedly the hairdresser used during procedure. Let me told you, she fried my beautiful hair at the point of bubble gum texture and I lost the hair in the side burns. I was mortified because I a mental health/coaching practice and the following day I have clients to see. I looked so horrible that I have to cancel my clients and go to another hairdresser that end cutting my hair in a pixie. I wasn’t ready to be that short but fortunately short hair flattered my face shape. By the way, I have your collaboration with Christian Audette and is simply stunning and flattering on the eyes and lips. Hugs, Alhambra 💕

    I am super inspired by you and your story with your health. I do think I am going through menopause and complete carnivore would help me so much. When you said you had joint pain that resonates with me. Weight gain. Insomnia. Etc.
    What were the meats you ate in the beginning that helped you keep going and stay the course? Thank you!❤️

    This came at the perfect time. I'm not carnivore/keto but I have been really watching my carb intake lately. We are traveling to Europe next week and I will definitely be bringing some meat and cheese sticks and almonds for the long plane ride! xx

    I woke up today with a God awful stomach virus that my 2 and 4 year old Grandson and Granddaughter shared with me and I cried it hurt so bad!! But then all I could think about was how scared they were feeling this pain and not understanding what was happening to them. Broke my heart!!!
    Also I had lost 23 lbs from eating Carnivore as of yesterday. 2 months of no sugar and no carbs!!

    Yay, good for you!
    I've eaten mostly low carb and/or ketovore for over 10 years now and it's so much easier for me to eat that way when I travel by myself. My favorite food is Mexican and my husband is Mexican, so that's what he eats most of the time. (Before c-vid) I always looked forward to travelling by myself so I could escape the constant temptation of Mexican food at home, or the stress of finding a restaurant while away from home that had something my extremely picky husband would want to eat. On my own, it was so easy to go pretty much anywhere and be totally satisfied with a steak, an omelet or a no-bread patty melt. And I always came home feeling great and either at the same weight or maybe having lost a few pounds! I miss that....

    I am a flight attendant, and eating low carb while traveling can be a challenge for sure. Those of us who do keto have a “flight attendant meal prep “ group online to give ideas. :)

    When I first heard you talk about carnivore, it sounded expensive to be on. Then I started thinking about eggs, bacon, chicken, lunch meats. I would love to hear what other people eat besides steak and shrimp. And also what they are spending on eating this way. I think I'd have to cook 1 meal for the fam and mine separately if I ate this way. I liked your breakfasts while you were away. It's good to hear how successful you were keeping on your diet while gone. Keep up the good work!

      I find I’m not as hungry and my grocery bill actually goes down. I’m not plowing through food because I’m satisfied.

      You shouldn’t need to make a separate meal. You eat the protein and if a side or two isn’t on your diet, skip that.
